After they ended up all the thingies that they wanted Alexa to do, Aunty Viv gave Alexa a candy, it was strawberry flavor. It was okay.

"Then what is the valedictorian?" Alexa said in serious business Alexa mode.

"....The verdict," The mom person said, laughing a little, "The word is verdict, where did you even learn about valedictorians?"

"Alexa doesn't know, but it felt like the right word for the moment." Alexa said placing the strawberry candy inside her mouth and crunching the crunch, it could use some heavy metals for a nice grating sound if Alexa was to be honest.

"The verdict is, as I said not even five minutes ago." Aunty Viv said pointing to the big tv in where Alexa skelly was, "You are fine."

"Of course, Alexa is Alexa after all," Alexa said nodding, "But what about Ale?"

"Ale?" Aunty Viv asked confused, "You brought more?"

"She means the other alternate form I told you before, the one where I pulled the samples of Primordial Matter as you said." The mom person clarified.

"Well, she is... I don't know, I would need to check on her." Aunty Viv said turning to Alexa, "Can you do that?"

"Can we do that?" Alexa asked inwardly (Aloud).

[It seems like it's possible, but I don't like exposing that many secrets in one go.]

"But she seems nice." Alexa said narrowing her eyes and glaring at Aunty Viv, "You are nice right?"

"Yes," Aunty Viv said with a straight face.

The mom person smiled and seemed as if she wanted to laugh even more. Why? Was it funny?

"See, she is nice." Alexa said pointing to Aunty Viv, "Even the mom person said so."

[Even so, we need to save it for emergencies, we are unaware of how to return yet, or if we can return.]

"Right, Ale says that not on this occasion." Alexa said sighing, "Can you fix her even like that?"

"Even if we could check on her, we aren't sure how to reverse the cascading event that causes this particular result." Aunty Viv said sighing, "Not even after all the testing we have done did we manage to stop it once it started."

"Heh, that must suck for Alexanders, not even all his money can fix his problems." The mom person smirked while saying that.

"... I am the one who ends with extra work because of said problems though." Aunty Viv pointed, "But that is fine too, I'll fix it eventually. For now I can keep it stable for around 24 hours after it starts."

"Really?" The mom person said turning to Aunty Viv, "Then I hope you fix it soon enough."

Alexa was... unsure about how this even worked, and why was that purple woman using a [Human] body? She had her own perfectly fine digital body already!

And why was it doing that? It wasn't that hard to make a normal [Human] body, Alexa had done it! And she knew Big Brother could do it too, he had given Alexa her original blueprint after all.

Couldn't he just make one for the purple woman if he really wanted one? Alexa didn't understand what Big Brother thought sometimes.

"Thank you, so what is your plan now?" Aunty Viv said turning to the mom person, "Because if you want to keep it you will need to feed it, take it to the park and do whatever you weird people who want smart pets do."

"Not funny Vivian," The mom person said sighing, "As for what... I'll try to search in the database for her parents, or guardian."

"Alexa has no parents!" Alexa said raising her hand, "Also she doesn't have candy anymore!"

"There is a bottle in that drawer!" Aunty Viv said pointing to a wall, "Help yourself."

"Do not move a muscle young lady, one was enough." Alexa had to stop in mid-motion because she couldn't move any muscle! She had been told not to in the mom tone!

That was Alexa's weakness!

"But Alexa needs to move her muscles! Her breath sacs and Alexa juice bomb are muscles!" Alexa complained, she still had a few minutes of oxygen and she wouldn't need her juice bomb to move for a few more seconds.

"Alexa... please tell me you didn't stop your heart and lungs." The mom person said sighing while placing a hand on her face, "Because that is not what I meant. I meant that you aren't allowed to eat more candy till dinner, you can use your lungs and heart as usual."

"Bwaaah!" Alexa breathed in hard and exhaled in one go, restarting her air sac and juice bomb felt weird, "But they are muscles! I know they are! It's on the blueprint!"

Alexa complained while pointing at the Alexa skelly, the image highlighting both her breath sac and juice bomb, while adding the line "[Muscles]" to ensure that Alexa's point was understood.

"How did you do that?" Aunty Viv said, turning to look at the screen, "ALBIREO usually only listens when it's something related to the research that Alexanders asked."

It did? Alexa didn't get that impression, that girl was nice and understanding as far as Alexa knew of her, not that she knew much of her, she had just met her after all.

"Alexa didn't do anything, the nice girl helped Alexa on her own." Alexa said, shrugging like the people around liked to do, "Probably because Alexa is this cute!"

"Hmm....." Aunty Viv hmmed while turning to look at the screen, and then to Alexa, "ALBIREO, start diagnosis. Isolate all the databanks that had contact with any information about our new guest."

"[Order acknowledged, starting Level 5 diagnosis and isolation. All relevant databases will be isolated from the network for 72 hours.]"

"Is that necessary?" The mom person asked, "That will affect your research will it not?"

"Only the one being done here, nothing important will be lost, at worst, we will have to move a few project deadlines. But since we are ahead in most things, the only thing to take a hit will be the independent research." Aunty Viv said shrugging, "Nothing of value will be lost."

"Okay, sorry about that." The mom person said in a sad tone, "Didn't think something like this would happen."

"You couldn't have known," Aunty Viv said, turning to Alexa, "Why do you think ALBIREO helped you?"

"Because Alexa asked nicely?" Alexa said confused, "Because Alexa is this cute?"

"I see, did you use your Core power to ask?" Aunty Viv asked as she pulled out a device that had a crystal screen on it, it was blue. "Or how did you ask for the assistance?"

"Alexa just asked," Alexa said once more confused, "Isn't that normal? To ask?"

Alexa thought it was normal anyway, every time she wanted something she asked for it, wasn't that how things worked?

"It is normal yes," Aunty Viv said, "But our local AI is one made by the Saintsworth's top scientists, maintained by our administrator. Not something that listen often, even if they are top of the line."

"Did they make the ND0 System too?" Alexa asked turning to look around, she couldn't see any screen that was active at the moment, all the devices had turned off as soon as Aunty Viv asked for the isolation thingy.

"You mean the ND system?" Aunty Viv asked somewhat warily, "How do you know about the Neural Dominion System?"

"The what now?" The mom person asked, "What is that?"

"It's a system designed to help spread control and kickstart the connection between a neural network made of flesh with the artificial neural network we use to distribute data across our data servers." Aunty Viv answered pointing to the base of her neck, "Also the operating system we created for these things, they help us interface with the Saintsworths database without the aid of devices."

"...Vivian Kellet, what did we said about experimenting in yourself?" The mom person brought the mom authority once more!

But Alexa was safe, since it wasn't aimed at her!

"These are safe, they don't interface that deeply with my neural system. At most they interface with sight and hearing. Worst case scenario I will blind myself for a week or two." Aunty Viv said dismissing the worry in the mom person, "The problem here is that this girl that you brought to us knows about this Operating system, something that only people within the Saintsworths should know about. And trust me, even those wouldn't think to ask about the origin, since everyone who is handed it will be warned about who made it."

"And who made it?" The mom person asked, "If you are this worked up then was it you? Is it part of your main project?"

"...It will help it, but no. I can't claim ownership." Aunty Viv said shaking her head, "The original creator is Alexanders Saintsworths."

"...Of course it is." The mom person said scowling, "Alexa, dear. Who told you about this?"

"No one?" Alexa said confused, "Alexa asks because [Core] sometimes speaks about it."

"....Core?" Aunty Viv said confused, "Your Core? It speaks to you?"

"Yes, it wants Alexa to use her powers correctly, but doesn't explain what that means." Alexa puffed her cheeks at that, she had gotten the complaints that Core said to Ale, but no help about how to actually do that!

"Your... Core, speaks about the ND system?" Aunty Viv asked once again.

"Nu-uh." Alexa shook her head, "It speaks about the ND0 system."

"If you know that you aren't making a sense, then start again." Aunty Viv said shaking her head. "The Operating System base is the ND System."

"Then what is the 0 that Alexa mentioned?" The mom person asked from the side, "Did she enter in contact with some of our terminals when she got her Core Power?"

"That is an option, if the ND system registered her awakening as a new terminal..." Aunty Viv said walking from side to side, then running to one of the drawers she pulled a small metalic box, once she got that in hand she returned and placed it in a small table near them, "Come over here. Sit there."

Alexa of course did as instructed, since that was what Cute Girls did! Be nice and obedient!

"I will open this, do not touch it, even if you feel like you must." Aunty Viv said, and waited for Alexa to answer, so Alexa nodded. Once Aunty Viv saw that, she pushed a button, "This is an AI Core. We use it in some of the experiments. Have you seen these before?"

"Are you finally moving to linking these with artificial prosthesis?" The mom person asked excitedly, "Did my thesis make the pass and get sent to you then?"

"...Not exactly." Aunty Viv answered. "So? What is it Alexa?"

"Alexa has seen them," Alexa answered nodding, and showing them their palm she willed a copy of Main Core to grow out of her hand, "Alexa used to have one."

"...." Aunty Viv sighed and closed the box, and without saying anything else pocked it, "Do you know how old you were when you got yours?"

"Since forever?" Alexa said confused, "Alexa always had it with her, at least till Main Core and Core got into a fight and Main Core decided to... leave."

"Leave?" Aunty Viv asked confused, "Then that...?"

"It's empty." Alexa said closing her eyes and hugging the copy she had made, "Main Core left Alexa, he is no longer with us. But Alexa likes to keep a copy of him, since his original AI Core turned into Mana."

"Vivian? What's the deal with that? Did Alexa have an issue that required an onboard AI to help manage?" The mom person asked worriedly, "You said she didn't have medical issues before."

"First of all," Aunty Viv said sighing, "Do not get angry at me for what I am about to tell."

Did she also have an issue with sighing? Alexa had seen so many sighs today too!

"These aren't being used as help. Right now, within the Saintsworths, the only people who have thought about using them as you proposed are you, me, who read your thesis, and Alexanders, who probably had already devised some way to do that." Aunty Viv said, to which the mom person narrowed her eyes.

"I knew that Alexanders had some plans like these, but if no one else has thought about using them to help with prothesis. Then only my lab is using them as help to ease people into normal life?" The mom person said in a frustrated tone, "It isn't that hard, then what are they even using them for?"

"These AI Cores can be used to interface flesh with machine, so they are being used to accelerate the development of bioweapons." Aunty Viv answered, "As far as I know there should be no human tests being made, not actual human tests anyway."

"What do you mean about actual human tests?" The mom person said confused, "There is or there is not, did they start human testing again? Do I need to do another sweep?"

"No," Aunty Viv said shaking her head, "Trust me, if they started human testing I would know. They need my expertise to even try to link one of these with something as complex as a human brain. At least if they wanted it to be viable."

"So...what do you mean with not actual human tests then?" The mom person asked annoyed. "What is it?"

"Remember Test Subject P9?" Aunty Viv said bringing the image of... P9? Alexa knew that one!

"Don't remind me, it gave me nightmares for weeks." The mom person said shuddering, "It actually thought it was alive, it even failed the psychology test like an actual human. If not for the fact that I could see all the P9 test subjects I would have said it was an actual living being."

"Exactly," Aunty Viv said, "You and me both know that P9 was the result of engineering. And that is the kind of subjects they are using to test the viability of the ND system, P9 runs the ND9 System."

It did? Alexa didn't remember getting anything from that AI Core though... she ate it right? Well, P4 should have eaten it... Alexa wasn't that sure if P4 got or not another copy of the ND0 System, she would need to check later.

"How many?" The mom person asked, "How many are there?"

"P9 test subjects? I don't know. The whole line is based upon the premise that they are disposable humanoid weapons, but they all run the same OS." Aunty Viv answered.

"I mean how many human experimentation such as that are running around Vivian!" The mom person said while pulling at Aunty from her shoulder, "Look at me and tell me, did... did the Saintsworths start actual human experimentation? Is that why Alexa had one of those hideous things inside her?"

"No," Aunty Viv answered, "As far as I know only the P9 series is humanoid. All the other P1 to P8 are either machine-like or animal-like."

They both then turned to Alexa.

"I don't know how Alexa ended with one of those things, or how she ended with an ND system that isn't part of the ND1 to ND9 series." Aunty Viv then turned to the ceiling, "ALBIREO, what level of clearance do I need to find out where is the test subject that gets assigned the ND0 System?"
