Chapter 264: Chapter 141: The Supreme White Moonlight_3 Chapter 264: Chapter 141: The Supreme White Moonlight_3 Wen Yangzhi had a similar tie before.

He watched as Yun Yuwan stood on the street, staring at that tie, not knowing whether she was thinking of him.

The next second, he saw her push open the door of the clothing store. After a while, she emerged with a light smile, holding the tie in her hand.

She walked briskly down the street; Wen Yangzhi quickly descended the stairs, following her. There were many pedestrians along the way, and he feared they would block his view and make him lose sight of Yun Yuwan.

He knew this might be his chance.

But soon after, Yun Yuwan ran to the square, where Jiang Yingyu was waiting.

Wen Yangzhi slowed his pace.

He heard her sweet voice, still hesitant and uncertain, sounding tentative:

“Yesterday… seeing you in that grey shirt, this tie matches your shirt well, so I bought it.”

Jiang Yingyu was obviously delighted, unable to suppress a smile at her unexpected gift.

Wen Yangzhi, however, stood frozen in place.

It wasn’t for him.

Jiang Yingyu had already begun to replace him.

And Jiang Yingyu said with an intimate tone:

“Millie, please tie it for me.”

He was too close to Yun Yuwan; it seemed he could almost feel his body heat through the air, but Yun Yuwan did not draw back, just modestly declined:

“I’m not very good at tying ties.”

Wen Yangzhi knew that.

Yes, she had never known how when they were together.

But Jiang Yingyu didn’t give up; he draped the tie over her collar in a cross: “I’ll teach you how to tie a Windsor knot. This wider part is called the ‘broad end,’ and this smaller part is called the ‘tail end,’ with the broad end on the left and the tail on the right.”

Yun Yuwan bowed her head seriously to learn, listening to his voice: “The broad end in front, the tail end behind, crossed over each other.”

“Fold the broad end inside out, pulling it through the triangle at the neck, then flip it over to the left, fold it inside out to the right side the same as the left, spin it once around the tail end, pull tight, and flip the broad end out from the middle on the inside.”

He gauged the distance just right, without being offensive.

She was engrossed, reaching out to touch his tie, their distance growing quite close.

Yun Yuwan nodded in understanding: “I think I got it.”

She loosened the tie and attempted to hang it around Jiang Yingyu’s neck, but she wasn’t tall enough, so he lowered his head to help her.

Seeing that she was standing on a step, Jiang Yingyu’s arms loosely circled her waist.

His intention was to prevent her from falling, but as she was standing on her tiptoes, the moment she stepped down, she would fall right into his embrace.

Actually, it was clear she didn’t have feelings for Jiang Yingyu yet, but her patience and lack of aversion towards him were not a good sign for Wen Yangzhi.

Those who make a big fuss about leaving, they’re never truly planning to leave.

Because those who really want to leave, they close the door quietly.

The noise is just a way to seek attention and understanding. But she didn’t need that anymore.

She finished tying the tie. In fact, it was somewhat roughly done and didn’t look very good, but Jiang Yingyu was pleased, she seemed a bit happy as well, their hands interlocked behind their backs, gently swinging.

The two left in the sunset, neither too far nor too close.

At night, Yun Yuwan and Jiang Yingyu were in a bar, and the atmosphere was as joyous as when they had been in Edinburgh.

After entering the bar, Wen Yangzhi looked around for a while before he found her watching a performance.

Yun Yuwan was originally drinking juice, but when she turned her head and saw Wen Yangzhi,

she unexpectedly didn’t care about Jiang Yingyu and ran off. The startled Jiang Yingyu quickly grabbed her bag and followed.

Wen Yangzhi immediately chased after her.

The Milan night wind blew fiercely; she was almost running for her life, not wanting to be found by him. With the spires of the cathedral receding continuously, the jostled crowd exclaimed in surprise. She had no direction, just desperate to run, not caring where she was as long as she could get away from him.

At an intersection, Wen Yangzhi finally caught her wrist and pulled her into his embrace.

Unexpectedly, she didn’t say anything but let out a startled scream, using a piercing shriek to resist.

The passersby looked over in surprise, coming up to ask him what he was doing and to let go of the lady, asking Yun Yuwan if she needed help.

Wen Yangzhi looked at her incredulously; she was hysterical as if pushed to her limit.

Jiang Yingyu quickly caught up, grabbing Yun Yuwan’s hand and pulling her away, angrily saying:

“Let her go!”

Yun Yuwan’s eyes were red and unfocused; she covered her ears, tears falling uncontrollably as she trembled:

“I don’t want to see him. I don’t want to. Not at all.”

Jiang Yingyu immediately took off his jacket to wrap around her: “Let’s get away from him, let’s go.”

Wen Yangzhi’s heart felt as if it were being flayed by innumerable thin blades. He could not believe his very presence was so unbearable to her.
