Chapter 34: Begging for Mercy
CHAPTER 34: CHAPTER 34: BEGGING FOR MERCY
The club was dimly lit, creating a stifling atmosphere.
The door to the private room was pushed open, and the person sitting on the sofa instantly jumped up.
The club manager walked in, opened the door wide, then stepped aside.
"Young Master Jiang, please."
Upon hearing the name, Sun Hao’s face turned white as a sheet.
He looked fearfully at the tall figure walking in, instinctively trying to retreat.
"Young, Young Master Jiang..."
Jiang Jingheng’s cold gaze swept over Sun Hao as he walked straight to the sofa and sat down.
The manager smiled and said, "Young Master Jiang, please give your orders, feel free to do as you wish."
The door to the private room closed, leaving silence in the room.
Sun Hao stood there, instinctively feeling the air conditioning in the room was too low, making him shiver.
He carefully looked up at the man sitting on the sofa like an Emperor.
"Young Master Jiang, you called me over, is there anything you need?"
He asked cautiously, though he roughly knew why he had been brought here.
At this moment, however, he was filled with regret.
Jiang Jingheng leaned back against the sofa, legs crossed, his light brown eyes as cold as if they were coated with ice.
His lips curled slightly, his tone carrying a lazy indifference, "Oh? You’ve forgotten?"
Sun Hao shivered, no one could feel more of the murderous intent hidden beneath that calm expression than he did.
He recalled how yesterday his subordinates came back from a pursuit, telling him they encountered Young Master Jiang, and instantly understood.
He quickly said, "Young Master Jiang, I didn’t know she was yours. If I had known, I wouldn’t have dared to entertain such thoughts."
"What kind of thoughts?" Jiang Jingheng asked, looking at him with an air of indifference.
He was like a hunter watching his prey struggle in the snare he’d set.
Sun Hao dared not answer, the calmer Jiang Jingheng was, the more uneasy he felt.
He hadn’t experienced Young Master Jiang’s methods, but he had heard plenty about them.
There were people in their circle who once mocked Young Master Jiang’s background when they were drunk, and he happened to hear it.
Afterward, he never heard news about those people again.
"Bang!" Suddenly, he dropped to his knees.
"Young Master Jiang, I’m an idiot, I deserve to die ten thousand times. As long as you’re willing to forgive me this time, I’ll do anything."
Jiang Jingheng suddenly stood up, approached, and looked down at the kneeling man.
His light brown eyes were clouded with darkness, his handsome face icy cold.
Suddenly, he stepped on Sun Hao’s right hand, his tone sinister, "Was it this hand that hit her?"
Sun Hao felt as if his hand was being crushed, crying out in pain, "Ah..."
The corridor was empty, and shrill screams occasionally emanated from the private room, chilling people to the bone.
Suddenly, the door of the private room opened, and Jiang Jingheng walked out.
He held a handkerchief, wiping his hands, his handsome face devoid of any emotion.
After wiping his hands, he tossed the bloodstained handkerchief to Lian Jun.
Lian Jun glanced at the private room behind him and instructed, "Clean it up."
"Yes!" someone replied from inside.
Lian Jun caught up with Jiang Jingheng and asked, "Young Master, heading back to the villa now?"
Jiang Jingheng looked at his clothes, noticing bloodstains on his white shirt and the smell of blood on his hands.
"Hotel."
Lian Jun understood his meaning, he didn’t want the Young Madam to find out.
"Yes!"
Inside the private room, Sun Hao lay on the ground panting, the metallic taste in his mouth making him want to vomit.
He even felt several ribs in his body were broken.
He looked at the fingers broken beside his cheek, still bloody, the piercing pain seemed to arise again.
He deeply regretted last night’s events, blaming Qin Xi that woman — of all people to bring over, she had to bring Young Master Jiang’s woman.
He only hoped that Young Master Jiang’s anger would subside and he would forget this unpleasant incident.
