A-List Actress: Paper Marriage but Pampering Billionaire
Chapter 41 Filming
CHAPTER 41: CHAPTER 41 FILMING
After saying goodbye to Song Cheng’an, Mu Yan began to read the script.
The role doesn’t have many scenes, but Song Cheng’an said that after she finishes the magazine shoot, she needs to prepare for filming, so time is still a bit tight.
As for Jiang Jingheng, it’s said he went back to the Jiang Family Mansion and won’t be back these couple of days.
The next morning, Song Cheng’an personally drove over to take Mu Yan to the studio, accompanied by the assistant he assigned her, Luo Yao.
Luo Yao is a girl in her early twenties, slightly chubby, with a chubby face, looking very cute.
As soon as she saw Mu Yan, she exclaimed, "Hi, Mu Yan, I’m Luo Yao."
"Hello, just call me Mu Yan." Mu Yan replied with a smile.
"You’re right, you look even younger than me, I think I made you sound old." Luo Yao said a bit embarrassed.
Mu Yan wanted to say it’s not true, but was interrupted by Song Cheng’an.
"Alright, it’s getting late, save the chitchat for the car, let’s get in."
"Okay!" Mu Yan and Luo Yao got into the car one after another.
Luo Yao has a cheerful personality and a quick tongue; even ordinary things sounded quite novel when she talked about them.
Mu Yan liked this assistant a lot; it didn’t take long for the two of them to hit it off.
They reached their destination in about half an hour.
The studio was on the third floor, and as soon as Mu Yan went up, staff came over to greet them.
Song Cheng’an explained their purpose, and the person immediately said, "President Song, please wait a moment, I’ll inform the chief editor."
Just then, a male voice from the studio said, "Photographer, lights, yawning all over, haven’t woken up? No wonder the big film star looks down on us. Buckle up, today’s shoot goes as planned."
Mu Yan and the others looked at each other; the atmosphere in the studio was a bit delicate this early in the morning.
Before long, a slightly slim, stylishly dressed man walked out. Seeing Song Cheng’an, he laughed and said, "President Song is here."
Song Cheng’an nodded slightly and said to Mu Yan, "This is Chief Editor Hao of ’Micro Era’."
"Hello, Chief Editor Hao, I’m Mu Yan." Mu Yan nodded slightly at the man.
Chief Editor Hao gave Mu Yan a once-over and appeared quite satisfied, "Hello, Miss Mu, I’m very happy to cooperate with you today."
"The pleasure is mine." Mu Yan politely said.
Chief Editor Hao’s gloomy mood from the morning improved a bit, "Miss Mu, if it’s convenient, my assistant will take you to get ready."
"Okay." Mu Yan looked at Song Cheng’an.
Seeing Song Cheng’an nod at her, she followed the assistant nearby and left.
Chief Editor Hao watched Mu Yan’s back and asked, "She’s even more beautiful in person than in photos. Wasn’t there a rumor you had already retired, how come you’re back again?"
Song Cheng’an replied helplessly, "There’s no choice, people need to consider their livelihood."
Chief Editor Hao laughed, "Just kidding, who lacks money? Certainly not you, President Song. This girl must have quite a background, right?"
Song Cheng’an smiled and remained silent.
About half an hour later, Mu Yan came out of the dressing room.
She was wearing denim overalls with a white T-shirt underneath and had her hair in a bun, looking fresh, playful, and very student-like.
Chief Editor Hao glanced at her and was so pleased his eyes curved into smiles, continuously praising, "Beautiful, pure, adorable!"
Mu Yan blushed at the compliments; she had initially thought it would be a very complex outfit and was surprised by the fresh style.
Song Cheng’an asked with a smile, "Does this outfit match the theme of your magazine?"
"Why wouldn’t it? I’ve figured it out, the goddess in the hearts of homebodies is a beautiful, cute schoolgirl, not some old woman trying to act young." Chief Editor Hao snorted.
Song Cheng’an raised an eyebrow, "As long as you’re satisfied."
"Come, goddess, let’s go shooting." Chief Editor Hao said with a smile, walking over to Mu Yan and making a gentlemanly invitation.
Mu Yan smiled slightly, linked her arm with his, and went to the studio with him.
