Noah clasped his hands together and then slowly pulled them apart. A ball of light between his hands stretched into a long blade. When his hands were fully extended, a sword of light had taken shape between them.

Noah gripped the hilt with his right hand, pointed the tip of the blade to the sky, and then placed his left hand over his right on the hilt.

"Ama no Murakumo... no, let's call it the Sword of Promised Victory for now."

Noah raised the light sword high. Golden specks of magic power continuously gathered into the blade, causing it to glow brighter and brighter.

Deliora, seeing Noah gathering magic, struggled with all its might. But the restraining power of the Swords of Revealing Light was too strong. All it could manage was a slight tremble of its body; moving a finger or opening its mouth was the most it could do.

The brilliantly glowing sword suddenly dimmed, its light becoming soft and gentle. Noah began the chant.

"The breath of the star gathers... a shining torrent of life—Take this! Ex—calibur!"

He took a step forward, his powerful magic pressing on the air and sending currents expanding outwards. He swung the light sword down with all his might, aiming it directly at Deliora. A massive torrent of golden light erupted from the tip of the blade, surging forward.

As the torrent passed, the air was torn asunder, and the earth was split open. It rushed straight for Deliora. The immense golden stream engulfed the demon's massive body, the continuously flowing magic power grinding away at its form.

Within the golden light, Deliora roared and struggled in agony, but due to the suppression of the Swords of Revealing Light, its struggles were useless. It could only endure the relentless assault. Gradually, its struggles grew weaker. At the same time, the golden torrent began to shrink; the magic power gathered in the sword was nearly exhausted.

Seeing that Deliora had been worn down enough, Noah used up the last of the magic in the blade and stopped the attack.

That was just a simple release of magic power, without any special properties added. The power is still lacking a bit. I'll have to improve it later, Noah thought, summarizing his impromptu imitation. He decided he would definitely work on it when he got back; it was a very cool ultimate move, after all.

He looked up and saw Deliora's body steaming, covered in wounds that had been instantly cauterized by the high temperature. The wounds on its body were no longer healing automatically; its regenerative ability had clearly dropped to its lowest point. Its eyes had been blinded in the blast, and it let out a weak, powerless roar in Noah's direction.

Noah walked up to Deliora and collected some of its tissue. This was one of the demons created by Zeref; of course, he had to do some research. He sealed the collected tissue and stored it in a special place. Then, he retreated to a safe distance and reinforced the Swords of Revealing Light, ensuring Deliora could not escape.

"Now it's time to say goodbye. Thank you for a decent fight."

"This is the final blow. It will completely annihilate you!"

"Gather! O river of light that is guided by the fairies!"

Noah raised his right fist to the sky. A colossal pillar of golden magic shot into the heavens. The sky gradually began to sparkle. Even though it was daytime, the light of the stars became clearly visible, and the sun beside them shone brighter than before.

"Shine! In order to perish the fangs of evil!"

In an instant, the light of all the stars, including the sun, dimmed. All of their light gathered into a single, brilliant halo that floated in the air.

"Fairy Glitter!"

Noah brought his right arm down, placing his left hand on his right elbow, his fist aimed directly at Deliora. At the same time, the halo in the sky descended, encircling the demon and crushing it. Deliora's entire body began to glow.

"ROOOOAAAAARRRGH!"

Deliora let out an indescribable cry of agony as Fairy Glitter continuously eroded its body, erasing its immortality. Noah also outputted his magic at full power, determined to completely destroy Deliora.

The demon's body was engulfed by an ever-brightening light, which then transformed into a pillar of light that reached the heavens, consuming Deliora, the Swords of Revealing Light, and the surrounding ground. This continued for more than ten seconds.

When the pillar of light finally dissipated, all that was left was a massive, deep crater. Nothing else remained.

Noah stood with his hands on his knees, gasping for breath. Those last two spells had consumed too much of his magic, especially the second one. The prolonged, full-power output had left him feeling completely empty of both magic and stamina. Thankfully, he could feel his strength and magic rapidly recovering.

Once he had recovered enough to move freely, Noah created a crude suit of full-body armor out of light and then jumped into the deep crater. As he descended, he used the light from his armor to inspect the surroundings. Just before he reached the bottom, he teleported back to the surface. He hadn't found any trace of Deliora in the crater. This meant that he had completely annihilated it. Noah was finally at ease.

He teleported back to the surface and saw Gildarts walking over from the distance. Noah went to meet him.

"Very impressive. Is Deliora destroyed?"

"Mhm. I didn't find any trace of it at the bottom of the crater."

"Good. That was an excellent fight to watch."

Noah gave a signal to Ur and the others in the distance. Seeing the signal, they also came down. Gray saw the massive crater Noah had created and asked, his voice trembling, "Is... is Deliora gone?"

"Mhm. At the very least, I couldn't find a single trace of it down there."

Hearing this, Gray's legs gave out. With a soft thump, he fell to his knees in front of the crater, then sank back onto his heels. He covered his face with his hands and began to sob uncontrollably.

"Dad! Mom! Your revenge has been taken! Deliora is dead!"

Noah and the others stood by silently, waiting until Gray's cries gradually subsided and finally stopped.

Gray had cried until he had no strength left to stand. Ur and Lyon helped him up. Having vented all the emotions he had suppressed for so long, Gray looked much better, healthier, and more at peace.

He walked over to Noah and was about to bow, but Noah quickly reached out and stopped him. Held up by Noah, Gray couldn't bend down no matter how hard he tried. He could only say, "I'm so grateful to you for destroying Deliora. I really don't know how to repay you. If there's anything you need in the future, just tell me. I'll do anything to help you."

Ur also spoke up from the side. "Thank you so much for coming to help us subjugate Deliora and for avenging my disciple. And especially for saving Ultear. If there's anything you need, you must tell me. Let me repay you properly."
