Chapter 1251: Chapter 197: Show Them Your Might, Mahdi!
Boom! Two utterly distinct forces, both carrying an unstoppable thunderous momentum and a silence-ready-to-kill venomous electric intent, shot like lightning towards the knight’s chest!
Death is certain. No matter who it is, death is inevitable! The Secret Sword ‘Extreme Flame Sword’ and ‘Purple Lightning Fist’ are sublimated combat techniques passed down through generations, enabling Sublimators to unleash their maximum potential. The towering swordsman and the pugilist who appear are masters in these arts; even a single attack from them is not casually received without risking losing limbs or flesh or even a gaping wound!
But the knight made no move to block.
Boom! The swordsman’s sword and the pugilist’s fist hit their respective targets, yet instead of feeling the joy of ‘mission accomplished,’ great fear surged in their hearts.
Because it didn’t feel at all like slashing armor and flesh or hitting humans… rather it felt as if striking an iron-cast mountain, a steel-cast wall!
The red Extreme Flame Sword struck the helmet, leaving not even a white mark, and the Purple Lightning Fist hit the chest line, also without leaving a trace.
They had caused no damage whatsoever.
Just then, the knight began his counterattack.
He raised his fists, and then they struck out like lightning, with a layer of pale golden lines covering them.
As the knight swung his fists, everyone present seemed to feel a terrifying thunderclap reverberating through the sky, lightning striking down, crashing in front of them.
Instantly, both the swordsman, who instinctively wanted to block with his sword, and the pugilist, who instinctively crossed his arms in front, felt an overwhelming force striking their bodies.
Iron blade, shattered.
Steel arm, broken.
The knight’s fists continued their advance with a raging momentum, piercing through the defenses of the two before him, delivering a punch squarely onto each of their faces.
As facial bones shattered, the knight’s fists dented their faces—in fact, due to the sheer force and speed, their bodies couldn’t fly backward to dissipate the force; the intensity had already penetrated through, creating a massive air burst behind them.
Then followed the crisp sounds.
Fists that surpassed sound were slowly retrieved, and the swordsman and pugilist’s limp, shocked bodies slowly collapsed onto the ground. The knight did not finish them off, as these two road blockers were somewhat polite, not intending harm, and could be guessed that their unspoken words were kindly meant.
But, the ones next were different.
Four armored warriors, significantly fiercer and different in demeanor than the previous two, stood out, blocking the knight’s path.
The knight continued advancing.
—The Unyielding Fortress. Certainly a mighty city. But in the end, it’s a city… even if it’s known as Solitary Mountain, or called the Planetary Shield Generator… it’s still a city name.
—Why would anyone use this name for their inheritance?
“Looks like, relying on your strength, you plan to make trouble and act recklessly, you thug.”
The four hailed from the Azure Sky Royal Court, wearing sublimated powered armors similar but more fierce and heavily entrenched than the knight; together, standing like a wall of steel, turbulent power coursed through the armor and their bodies, gathering into a more destructive force.
The leading captain issued a cruel laugh: “But we will let you know, what true battle is for you who plan to do big things just by relying on power!”
They could clearly see the knight’s armor was quite advanced, possibly Aether Armament, so even though their words were arrogant and disdainful, the four still cautiously spread out, approaching the knight, seeking the best attack angle.
Yet, the knight continued forward, undeterred, seemingly oblivious to their words.
Bang. Upon finding a suitable angle, two among the four pounced like cannonballs, one left and one right like pincers, fiercely colliding against the knight’s sides, firmly pinning him in place.
At that moment, the leader’s hands positioned in front of the chest, palms facing each other, between which a visible black-red sphere of light swelled. Meanwhile, the fourth placed his hands on the leader’s shoulders, pouring origin quality, gathering strength to fuel and grow the black-red sphere.
“This is the joint combat technique of the Azure Sky Royal Court’s formation, Darkflame!”
Yanjiang’s Necrocaller recognized the move, his expression serious: “Up to twelve Fire Sublimators can collaborate, catalyzing the Darkflame Torrent’s power to burn the outer armor of moving warships, directly penetrating the vessel, turning medium-small ships into roasted meat cans… although only two collaborated here, these two are no laymen; the destructive power is astounding!”
The next moment, a river-like torrent of black-red flame shot up, drawing a black line through the air, headed straight for the knight’s head. Simultaneously, the two Azure Sky Royal Court soldiers initially pinning the knight sprang away like bouncing balls, clearly avoiding being hit by their allies’ attack.
The flame flow struck the knight, accompanied by massive explosive reverberations, radiation-like light flashing in all directions, and destructive shocks whipping up a storm, instantly capable of melting armored vehicles, the hot wind mixed with thunder spreading.
