CHAPTER 468: CHAPTER 459: I LOVE PEOPLE WITH SPINE THE MOST!
The sky had long since darkened, and Raccoon City was constantly filled with screams, roars, howls, explosions, and the burning of flames.
Umbrella Company members, following the orders of senior official Thomas Klechterman, had sealed off the walls of Raccoon City, trapping a large number of ordinary citizens and a few umbrella soldiers within the city.
"Da da da~!"
The sound of machine guns rang out as the soldiers on the wall began to disperse the crowd.
Raccoon City was completely sealed off.
"Civilians, get out of here! This is a military area, no outsiders allowed!"
When Bai Yan approached the tent, several patrolling warriors began to stop him.
They held firearms, each with a grave demeanor and faces filled with murderous intent, as if they would shoot Bai Yan on the spot if he did not back off.
"Relax, stand guard well, let us in."
Bai Yan’s eyes shimmered with a strange light as he controlled and invaded the minds of the umbrella soldiers.
"Uh..."
These umbrella soldiers, with dazed eyes, allowed Bai Yan, leading the Demon Warriors, to enter in single file.
Along the way, Bai Yan exercised the will of the Demon Lord on every umbrella soldier they encountered, directly controlling their minds and making his way straight in.
Inside a tent.
Dr. Charles Ashford, sitting in a wheelchair, had just finished his conversation with Alice. He used the promise of a way out of the city as leverage to compel Alice to find his daughter for him.
"Who are you!"
The soldiers guarding the tent’s entrance shouted, followed by a groan as they collapsed to the ground, limp.
The tent flap was lifted, and Bai Yan, holding Angela’s small hand with a smile, walked in.
"Daddy!"
Angela, seeing Dr. Charles in the wheelchair, her eyes lit up, calling out excitedly. She wanted to rush forward, but her hand was tightly held by Bai Yan, unable to move at all.
"Angela? Oh, God, my dear daughter!"
Dr. Charles quickly turned his head and his expression became excited upon seeing Angela, and then he noticed Bai Yan and several Demon Warriors standing beside her.
Dr. Charles’s expression changed drastically, shouting angrily, "Who are you! Why are you holding my daughter! Let her go!"
"Calm down, Dr. Charles."
Bai Yan looked at Dr. Charles with a smile, feeling somewhat emotional.
This middle-aged man, he’s the scientist who developed the T-virus!
His knowledge in cutting-edge biochemical technology was second to none. In the Biochemical Plane, Dr. Charles was a top-tier technological talent, one that Bai Yan was determined to acquire.
"You see, I am very sincere, personally bringing your daughter back to you. Of course, this isn’t free, I need you to pay some compensation."
Bai Yan looked at Dr. Charles with a smile, not minding in the least the hateful look in the eyes of father and daughter.
"Do you know where this is? How did you get in! Aren’t you afraid of being captured by the umbrella soldiers?"
Dr. Charles thought quickly in his mind, sitting in the wheelchair, he sternly shouted at Bai Yan.
As if to match Dr. Charles’s words, a series of noisy sounds came from outside the tent: "Quick! Dr. Charles is in danger, the monitor detected invaders, they’ve entered Dr. Charles’s tent!"
"Quick, surround them!"
"Notify Thomas in charge immediately!"
Several soldiers dressed in Umbrella Company uniforms, armed with guns, rushed in. Before they could ready themselves for tactical action, the Demon Warriors guarding the entrance of the tent knocked them unconscious.
"Go, bring that Thomas here."
Bai Yan ordered indifferently, casually grabbing a chair to sit down on.
"Yes, Master."
The Demon Warriors whispered orders and rushed outside, issuing commands through brain waves.
Hundreds of Demon Warriors stationed outside the military base suddenly surged, storming into the Umbrella Company’s military encampment!
"Damn it, who are you!"
"Ah! Enemy attack! Enemy attack!"
"They’re not infected, but strangers, Asians! Damn it, where the hell did these guys come from!"
"Quick, notify Manager Thomas! Request support, the enemy is too powerful... Ah!"
Each Demon Warrior moved with agility and strength, overpowering these ordinary soldiers by far; a hundred Demon Warriors were enough to crush this place.
The sound of gunfire outside the tent kept firing in bursts, then gradually subsided.
Seated in his wheelchair, Charles’s previously confident expression had now vanished, replaced by anxiety and panic. He could tell from the sounds outside that this smiling Asian man was the leader of the invaders!
The military force of the Umbrella Company was simply unable to resist them!
"What on earth do you want!"
Charles growled, his intelligent eyes behind his spectacles betraying his irritation.
His daughter was still in Bai Yan’s hands; he feared for her harm.
"Don’t worry, you’ll soon find out."
Bai Yan smiled, and then lifted his hand to point at Charles’s right hand which was concealed beneath the wheelchair, whispering, "Doctor, I’d advise you not to do anything irrational. A small handgun isn’t enough to hurt me, and the most likely outcome is that it could harm your lovely daughter."
Bai Yan’s smile was warm, but his voice was chillingly indifferent.
Charles trembled slightly, clenched his teeth, and tossed away the small pistol he had secretly been clutching in his hand.
He didn’t dare gamble; he didn’t want Angela to get hurt.
"Daddy..."
Angela struggled incessantly by Bai Yan’s side, trying to rush to Charles, but Bai Yan held her tightly, letting the adorable little girl cry her face wet with tears.
"You are a bad person!"
Angela turned around, trying to look fierce.
"Yes, I’ve always been a bad person."
Bai Yan laughed heartily.
Soon, a tall man dressed in black, Thomas, was brought into the tent by several Demon Warriors.
This infamous antagonist of the second part of the Biohazard crisis was so easily captured by Bai Yan.
"Who are you people!"
Thomas’s gaze flickered with a cold glint, fixedly staring at Bai Yan; it was clear that the man sitting in the chair was the leader.
"I am a senior employee of the Umbrella Company, and by doing this, you’re provoking the Umbrella Company!"
Thomas quickly pondered countermeasures in his mind. The strength of these people was too great; his bodyguards couldn’t withstand their onslaught. The fight had barely started for a few minutes before he was taken down.
The situation outside was more or less under the control of the Demon Servants.
This surprise attack was flawless and did not cause much panic. The civilians on the outskirts and the Umbrella soldiers on the city walls still had no idea that the military station had undergone a drastic change.
"It doesn’t matter who I am; what’s important is that I want to make a deal with you."
Bai Yan stood up, handed Angela to a Demon Warrior, and with a smile walked over to Thomas, speaking softly, "Sign a contract with me and become my employee. I’ll spare your life. That’s the deal I’m offering you."
"In your dreams! I will never betray the Umbrella Company!"
Thomas fiercely headbutted towards Bai Yan, then his right hand struggled violently. As a high-ranking employee of the Umbrella, naturally he was not lacking in combat ability; he was attempting to fight back.
However, the grip of the Demon Warrior on his arm was solid as a rock; all his attempts to counterattack were futile and had no effect.
Bai Yan observed Thomas’s powerless struggle. Before Thomas’s headbutt could reach Bai Yan, a Demon Warrior violently jerked him back, causing Thomas’s body to stumble and unwillingly kneel on the ground.
A slight blush of embarrassment appeared on Thomas’s face, fear welling up inside him.
These people were too strong!
He had been professionally trained as a Special Agent by the Umbrella Company and yet he couldn’t even break free from their custody!
"Good!"
Bai Yan applauded loudly: "I always admire people with backbone!"
Bai Yan drew out a large-caliber revolver, cheerily pushed it against Thomas’s temple, and seriously said to him, "Don’t worry, for your backbone, I’ll make sure to give you a good send-off, and you won’t feel the slightest pain."
In an instant, more cold sweat broke out on Thomas’s forehead, and his pupils constricted sharply.
The metallic touch of the revolver against his temple conveyed a palpable threat of death.
This Asian man, he’s really going to kill me!
