CHAPTER 262: ELEMENTAL HEAVEN PEAK AGAIN

Yu Xuan appeared within the teleportation hub of the True Central Area, and the first thing he noticed again, was how massive it was.

Compared to the ones in the peaks, this was totally different.

Dozens of formations glowed across the polished floor.

Disciples bustled everywhere, organizing departures, recording arrival logs, adjusting spirit cores to maintain array balance.

A young attendant spotted him and hurried over.

"Junior Brother, please stand on this formation," he said politely, gesturing toward a specific formation.

Turns out that the young looking attendant wasn’t young at all.

As Yu Xuan stepped closer, the attendant studied him curiously.

The urgent transfer request had come directly from the Chaos Heaven Peak, sealed with the Peak Master disciple’s personal signature — something that rarely ever happened.

He couldn’t help but wonder who this newcomer really was.

’What kind of junior gets personally transferred like this? Is he her lover?’ he thought, glancing at Yu Xuan’s calm expression and beautiful face.

Yu Xuan, on the other hand, was looking around with mild curiosity. His eyes drifted over the crowd and then paused.

At the far end of the hall, was an Elder he recognized.

Long black beard, dark hair, eyes like bottomless wells of patience and power, it was that Kind Elder.

Yu Xuan froze for half a second, then quickly averted his gaze.

He was a good disciple, so he absolutely did not see the Elder.

’I’m invisible. Totally invisible.’ he thought.

He turned away so fast it was almost comedic.

The corner of the Elder’s mouth twitched.

Though he appeared to be reading a book named "A Hundred Ways to Impress a Senior", being an Immortal meant his perception extended far beyond sight, every movement, every whisper, even energy within the hall under his awareness.

And Yu Xuan, of all people, was not an ordinary disciple to him.

As an Irregular, Yu Xuan’s Life Pattern — the intertwined resonance of his soul, spirit, and physical form, had long been recorded in the sect’s archives. In case Yu Xuan were to die, they would immediately know.

And also because, life pattern helps in resurrection.

Every living being had a Life Pattern, unique and immutable.

Even if someone disguised their body or altered their aura, the core pattern always remained the same.

There were, of course, ways to forge or conceal one’s pattern... but the Elder had seen enough worlds to tell real from false.

He stroked his beard silently, watching Yu Xuan pretend not to notice him.

Heh. This brat thinks I don’t see him. Very well...

There was no need to call him out. As an Irregular, Yu Xuan would cross paths with him again soon enough.

Meanwhile, Yu Xuan had already stepped onto the teleportation formation. The air around him shimmered, runes activating one by one as light spread beneath his feet.

The attendant nodded.

"All set, Junior Brother. Safe travels."

Yu Xuan clasped his hands politely. "Thanks"

The formation lit up with dazzling brilliance, and Yu Xuan vanished into spiraling currents of light.

Yu Xuan arrived in the town near the Main Elemental Heaven Peak, and after getting out of the teleportation hub, he headed straight toward the Mission Hall.

Of course, he didn’t go there on foot, he had his trusty Glide Disk.

Tapping it twice with his foot, Yu Xuan floated off the ground, gliding smoothly over the streets.

He couldn’t help but smirk when he noticed a few disciples gawking at him; apparently, the sight of someone casually gliding through town was a bit too much for early risers.

Fortunately, the Mission Hall wasn’t far, so his little stroll didn’t cause much of a commotion.

Once there, Yu Xuan stored the Glide Disk in his storage ring and walked into the modest building.

Inside, behind the reception counter, sat a familiar face — a monk, with her eyes closed, expression calm like a still pond.

Yu Xuan blinked.

Her aura seemed steadier than before, and... her hair looked noticeably shinier.

’Did she start using shampoo?’ he wondered.

"Hello, Senior," Yu Xuan greeted as he approached.

The monk slowly opened her eyes, glanced at him, then closed them again without a word.

’How strange,’ she thought, ’did that kid truly become my heart demon?’

Yu Xuan frowned slightly. Her reaction was strange, even for a monk.

"Senior," he tried again, "I have an enquiry."

The monk flinched slightly; her perfectly calm demeanor cracked for an instant.

"W-What? Why are you here?" she asked, then realizing how un-monk-like that sounded, she coughed lightly and corrected herself.

"Ahem, I mean, do you wish to take another mission?"

"No, Senior," Yu Xuan said with a polite smile, "the person I commissioned to enhance my clothes said they’d deliver the item here."

"Give me your medallion."

The monk extended her hand, taking the medallion and placing it on a glowing jade plate.

A faint light ran across it as she checked the sect’s system for his delivery. After a few seconds, she handed it back.

"There really is a delivery in your name. Wait a few moments, I’ve sent someone to the storage vault to fetch your item."

Yu Xuan nodded and waited. Within minutes, a disciple appeared carrying a large box, placing it gently in front of the monk before retreating.

"Here," the monk said, "but first, pay one hundred sect points."

Yu Xuan’s eyebrow twitched.

"One hundred sect points? For what?"

"Storage fees," she replied.

But as soon as he opened his mouth to protest, the monk’s eyes gleamed faintly, and she began a long, winding explanation.

By the end of it, he sighed and paid the hundred points.

But the monk’s explanation was quite detailed so he accepted it.

But now, as a customer with customer mindset, he checked the contents of the box to find if it really did contain his enhanced robes which should be unbreakable upto core formation stage or did Ke scam him?

But when he opened his box to see its contents, his eyes widened.
