The trio ran away from the spot, and a few people decided to give chase. It turns out that a few races had advantage in terms of speed and were catching up. The Terran noticed this and took out his Dao Swords.

    He said, "Brother Tian, Sister Ming, step on to one of these blades. I will handle the pursuers."

    The two nodded, they got on the two swords and their speed increased a little. Shi Lang used the seven other Dao Swords to attack and defend the team from incoming attacks simultaneously.

    The pursuers were prepared and used their own defense, but Shi Lang quickly figured ways around to break the defense and kill them. He was so cruel that he basically chopped the corpses in multiple sections.

    He did not use his flame seed, because not every card was to be displayed until and unless it was necessary. Shi Lang knew this fact and abided by it also. As they travelled farther away from the city, the frequency of the attacks became lesser.

    Shi Lang sighed and swallowed a pill with a cold face to restore his energy. Tian Jian and Ming Yanzi looked at him, impressed with the display. The latter asked, "Brother Shi, you are very decisive. It is good that you are here, otherwise, even I might not have been able to keep up with the attacks."

    The Terran did not say anything except showing a faint smile. Ming Yanzi asked, "Brother Shi, I heard from my Master, that you intend to reach the sage realm. Is that true?"

    Shi Lang nodded and asked, "Why do you ask? Is my goal a foolish delusion?"

    Ming Yanzi shook her head and replied, "It is not a delusion, but it is something that I admire about you. Master has never said praised anyone without reason. So, when she praised you during the battle with Brother Tian, I was surprised."

    Shi Lang nodded faintly and said, "Well, we are about to reach the location where Nova said we will find the first human legacy tomb. Although the tombs cannot be broken or destroyed, they can be guarded. There is a big chance that someone from the ten thousand races is guarding that tomb. We should first scout the situation and then go in to check if the legacy is suitable for us, what do you think?"

    The two people nodded in agreement and after going through some more kilometers, they landed on top of a cliff that was covered with lush green grass and towering trees. Shi Lang connected with Miwa Nova, before leaving the house he had deployed the small satellite in the void.

    The small satellite was covered with illusion array, no one could tell where it was as it looked like a cloud. The small communication was made on a public channel. The other people also heard the conversation. Shi Lang was selfish, he did this to make sure that these people could not hide anything from him.

    He used his sensory ability and was overwhelmed. He could sense the Dao Laws and only Dao Laws. The enemy had surrounded the small shrine. There were seven layers of creatures from different races, moving around the shrine. Shi Lang sat down and released a few nano drones to show the situation to the two.

    He said, "There are seven layers of encirclement around the shrine and a total of forty people."

    The hologram displayed the situation in great detail. He then looked at them and asked, "What do you think we should do?"

    Her tone sent a chill down the spines of Tian Jian and Ming Yanzi. It was as if a child asking for a lollipop. Shi Lang looked at her and said, "You can immobilize them, we will go inside the shrine, in the meantime, you can savor them as much as you want."

    Raksha clapped her hands together and said, "Okay children go to work, relieve these people of their limbs and movement but do not kill them."

    The ten swords shivered and then moved through the void at blinding speed. Shi Lang raised his brow and asked, "When did you train them?"

    Raksha replied with a proud smile, "Your intent is my origin, so they listen to me the same way they listen to you."

    Shi Lang waved his hand and said, "Get it done soon."

    After ten minutes of wails and metallic clangs, the surroundings fell silent. The trio descended on the ground. On a small mound, there was a tombstone. Tian Jian stepped forward, and pricked his finger to let the blood drop on the tombstone. The stone emitted a glow, and after a few minutes Tian Jian said, "This is the legacy of a senior who mastered speed. It is not useful to me, I have come too far in the path of defense."

    Shi Lang nodded and said, "The same goes for me. Sister Ming, what about you?"

    Ming Yanzi shook her head and raising her communicator, she marked the place on the holographic map. She said, "We can explore the options, isolate them so that these creatures cannot get close."

    Shi Lang nodded and said, "Mapping works in the favor. The people who come here in the future will have it easy."

    The people nodded and then they walked out from under the small shed where the tombstone was located. The surroundings were echoing with wails. Shi Lang revealed a helpless smile and said calmly, "Raksha, have you not finished yet?"

    Raksha replied, "You are so mean, I want five more minutes. I will not move before that I am telling you Lang, stop spoiling my moments, you oldie."

    Shi Lang scratched the back of his head and said, "Forgive me, my partner has a strong personality."

    The other two smiled, they were amused by this. Tian Jian asked, "Why did you just attack them directly?"

    Shi Lang replied, "What was the point in sparing them? They were waiting here to kill us. Why not kill them and be done with it?"

    The duo did not expect the reason to be so simple and straight.
