CHAPTER 164: CHAPTER 164: DON’T SQUEEZE TOO TIGHT

Clay Gable and Colby Jennings were watching a few women not far from their spot in the hot spring, their eyes full of burning heat.

Their figures were impeccable, but it was best not to stare too long.

Both instinctively withdrew their gaze.

At this moment, Colby Jennings seemed to notice a familiar figure in the distance.

It was Beau Morgan.

She was being hassled by a man.

That man was Kyle Grant.

"Beau, what do you mean by this?" Kyle grabbed her wrist.

Beau looked around, seeing no one was nearby, she shook off his hand, "Mr. Grant, what do you want?"

"I!" Kyle swallowed and tried to keep his patience, "Neither of us was drunk that night!"

"So what?" Beau’s face flushed, "It was consensual between us. In the adult world, we should understand boundaries. It’s a mutual decision, don’t dwell on it after walking out of that door. You didn’t lose anything!"

"I didn’t lose anything, but I have morals. I admit I was attracted by your looks, but..." Kyle blocked her path, not letting her leave.

It seemed he had fallen for Beau’s body, and it was his first time.

"No buts!" Beau cut him off, "I don’t like you! So what if we slept together?"

"Beau, I’m not a bad catch!" Kyle held onto the woman ready to leave.

Beau felt regretful, she shouldn’t have ended up in bed with him by chance.

She said decisively, "I don’t like you!"

"If you dare to leave, I’ll make it public." Kyle released her hand, his expression indifferent.

Beau looked panicked!

"What do you want!"

She bit her lip, clenching her fists, her nails digging into her skin, her panic made her forget the pain in her hands.

"Available at a call." Kyle gave up pretending.

"Get lost!" Beau found this person utterly disgusting!

She turned to leave.

"I have photos." He said lightly.

Beau stopped in her tracks, her head throbbing painfully.

"That night, you didn’t refuse when I led you into the room." Kyle had no plans to let her go.

"Kyle, what good does making this public do you?"

"Plenty. I don’t care about reputation, but your parents, both professors, respectable figures, exposing this would cost you as much as it would me, or I wouldn’t mind marrying you." Kyle said this without a hint of shame.

Beau felt like she had walked into his trap.

But ultimately, it was her own doing.

Kyle saw her look of terror, unable to argue back, and a sly smile appeared on his lips as he pulled her away.

Colby Jennings watched the two, unsure what they were discussing, and seeing them holding hands so intimately, he paid no mind.

It was just past two in the afternoon, the sun at its strongest.

The three women, exhausted from playing, returned to soak in the hot spring, leisurely sipping milk tea while lounging on the pool’s edge.

"I’ll be right back after washing my hands." Nathan Jennings put down his milk tea and got up to leave.

Coming out of the washroom, she stood at the sink washing her hands when a woman exiting the restroom bumped into her.

"Sorry, slipped." The woman smiled seductively, pushing Nathan aside to use her sink.

Nathan frowned and sneered, "Quite slick indeed."

The woman’s face turned slightly sour.

"Nathan Jennings, don’t think just because you used unscrupulous means to marry Mr. Gable, you’re anything special?"

"Doesn’t matter if the means were unscrupulous or not, marrying Mr. Gable makes me special!" Nathan responded bluntly.

"Oh, seems your true nature’s showing." The woman washed her hands, flicked the water off, and pulled a paper towel from the side to dry them.

"So what? That’s my ability. You, only taunt me. Can you go to Mr. Gable, tell him you like him, and have him marry you?"

"I never said I like him!" The woman was shocked.

"Don’t like him? Then why taunt me? Unless you like me? Sorry, I’m not into women!" Nathan turned to leave.

The woman was left stammering, unable to find words.

Furious, she stomped her foot and followed out of the bathroom.

Everyone in the circle knew she liked Clay Gable.

By now, the swimming pool was gathering more people, especially women, all dressed up fancy, hoping to catch the eye of some big shot at tonight’s celebration and become a phoenix.

Nathan Jennings felt stifled.

Her marriage to Clay Gable was clearly a huge mishap, now laughed at within the circle, mocked for going all out to marry this man.

But who knew it was this man who pursued her relentlessly.

Whenever he came home drunk from social events at night, he’d claim he was used to it and entered the master bedroom by mistake, holding Nathan as they slept.

Nathan, not his match, couldn’t escape from the man’s hold and had to let him hold her to sleep.

Even though he only held her to sleep, she could feel the change in him, waking up embarrassed every time.

She thought about locking the door, but for some reason, the lock was broken, and she was too shy to call someone to fix it, fearing he would say she was guarding against him.

Even though he indeed did nothing.

Nathan Jennings hadn’t had a good night’s sleep in several nights.

Especially after he first slept holding her drunk, it felt like he had social events every night.

Nathan Jennings felt he was doing it on purpose.

Distracted, she walked towards the hot spring, only to trip over a woman’s outstretched foot near the pool, causing her to fall.

The woman hurriedly reached out to catch her but instead took advantage to shove her into the water while Nathan wasn’t paying attention.

At this moment, the woman from the restroom leisurely walked over, exchanging a glance with the woman by the pool, and they both shared a smile.

Nathan Jennings fell into the 1.8-meter deep end of the pool.

Although she knew how to swim, the sudden fall caused her to swallow and choke on some water.

The two women on the shore snickered mockingly.

When Nathan surfaced, she coughed violently.

Clinging to a strong shoulder with one hand while wiping her face dry with the other.

The mocking paused abruptly.

It wasn’t until she realized who had pulled her out that she saw it was Clay Gable.

Her legs were still wrapped around his waist, their bodies pressed closely together.

She didn’t even know how she had ended up clinging to him like that.

"Are you okay?" Clay Gable turned his face, looking at the naturally flushed woman in front of him.

"..." Nathan wanted to say she wasn’t okay.

Because Clay Gable wasn’t acting normal at that moment.

Both of their hearts were pounding unusually fast.

His ears were flushed red as he whispered a voice only they could hear, "Don’t squeeze too tight..."

His voice, hoarse and intoxicating, breathed warmly on Nathan’s face.

Startled, Nathan loosened her grip.

Clay Gable stayed beside her, guiding her to the edge.

Nathan leaned on the side, catching her breath, and sneaked a glance at the man.

He was also leaning on the side.

"Splash!"

The sound of splashing came from the water.

Sophia Lowell and Hugh Irving each kicked a woman into the water.

Who knows if they could swim? Sophia and Hugh tossed life rings near them.

Sure enough, the women couldn’t swim, gulping water until they desperately grabbed the life rings.

"Cool off in the water!" Sophia called out.

Nathan blushed, climbing out with the handrail on the side.

Clay Gable climbed out from the other side and then left the place.

"Are you okay?" Sophia draped a towel over her.

Nathan’s face was still flushed, shaking her head, saying she was fine.

The three lost their interest in soaking and moved under a beach umbrella to enjoy sweets and recharge.
