CHAPTER 95: CHAPTER 95: NATALIE VAUGHN REALLY IS A LITTLE MILK BABY

The fifteen minutes at the airport, Natalie Vaughn couldn’t imagine anything.

She had traveled to various places since she was young, domestically and internationally, sometimes with her parents, sometimes with friends, and sometimes alone.

Trips would be as short as a week and as long as several months. But she never felt this kind of emotion before boarding a plane.

She thought she would say something to Zane Thorne, but in these fifteen minutes, she said nothing.

It was Zane who said a few things.

He said.

Over there, don’t be greedy with food, don’t eat spicy, cold, and icy things together, because he can’t just fly over to play games for her when she has a stomachache.

He also said.

If anything happens, just look for Felix Langdon, it’s just for fun, if you’re not happy, then don’t play, let Felix clean up the mess. When he said this, he smiled and fiddled with her hair.

Said her nature would definitely not let herself be wronged, unsure if it was comforting or calling her spoiled.

There seemed to be nothing much left to say.

Zane wasn’t a talkative person either; compared to talking, he preferred action. Of course, he couldn’t say words that would make Natalie miss him; that was too cheesy.

Since he couldn’t say it, let the kiss express it.

The kiss at the moment of departure was particularly lingering, Zane started off gently and slowly, but the kiss became deeper and more intense.

And Natalie responded to the man’s kiss with all her emotions. So much so that when they had to part, her lips were numb and Zane’s lips were as red as if they had joined a gang.

The man’s chest heaved slightly as he gently patted the back of Natalie’s head.

"Go on."

He paused after that.

"You can call me."

If she misses him, she should call him.

Natalie didn’t want to be emotional, put on her sunglasses, and prepared to get out of the car. She inadvertently glanced at her red and swollen lips in the mirror and finally put on a mask, as Zoe Chandler had wanted.

Zane helped Natalie check in her luggage and accompanied her to the security checkpoint. There was no extra time to talk.

Natalie took the initiative to tiptoe and give Zane a kiss on the cheek.

She threatened.

"Remember to miss me, don’t hook up with other women."

But Natalie knew that someone like Zane wouldn’t hook up with other women; it would only be other women trying to hook up with him.

That’s not allowed either, but with Zane’s aloof demeanor, he’d scare off a bunch of people.

If there were still some thick-skinned ones, it wouldn’t matter. It’s only just over an hour’s flight back from Veridia, she could come back between filming and have some fun dealing with any troublesome women.

Watching Natalie board the plane without looking back, Zane felt a tickle in his throat.

He was craving a cigarette.

Only when Natalie was completely out of sight did Zane leave.

Since returning from Altara, Zane had not attended a single purely brotherly gathering but finally decided to make a call.

Felix, who was most familiar with Natalie’s schedule, received Zane’s call and knew the Vaughn family’s eldest daughter had already left for Veridia.

So he started teasing in their group chat.

"Some people, as soon as their wife goes to film, start bothering their bros. Truly, lust over loyalty, just as the ancients said."

Theodore Langdon, who just finished a schedule: "Exactly, once they have a wife, they forget us."

Quentin Donovan, with nothing better to do: "How can we, a bunch of scummy shrimps, compare to Nina?"

Felix tagged Quentin: "She is James Vaughn’s own sister, even James doesn’t praise her as much as you do."

Quentin, suddenly energized: "You guys don’t know, Nina was such a cute little baby, so adorable!"

Felix: "..."

Theodore: "You’re done for, retract it quickly, if Mr. Thorne sees this, you’re dead meat."

Quentin: "Seriously, why are you guys so scared of Zane? Besides, he’s so out of touch, doesn’t use WeChat, doesn’t check Weibo. One day he called, and I thought it was a scam artist."

Zane, suddenly appearing out of nowhere, quoted Quentin’s previous message: "How cute?"

Felix: "Good luck.jpg."

Theodore: "Good luck.jpg."

Quentin, slow but persistent: "You actually know how to quote?"

Felix: "You must be some kind of fool.jpg."

Theodore: "You must be some kind of fool.jpg."

Zane: "How cute?"

Theodore started privately messaging Felix: "Isn’t it weird that Mr. Thorne isn’t angry?"

Felix: "Don’t rush."

Quentin foolishly replied, "Let me find them, I’ve taken many, kept them all."

Theodore: "You’re amazing.jpg."

And then he privately messaged Felix again: "Won’t Quentin get in trouble for this?"

Felix: "Let’s just watch."

Zane squinted at Quentin’s message, sneering.

He had heard Quentin praise Vaughn’s sister for her cuteness more than once.

At the time, he only found his excitement both ungrateful and worthless.

After hearing it so much, he even found it annoying.

Who would have known the little baby Quentin always praised would grow up to be his wife?

Sure enough, Quentin had carefully stored Natalie’s childhood photos in an album, and soon, the group chat was flooded with pictures.

Natalie at six months, one year old, during kindergarten, elementary school, junior high, and even high school.

Felix and Theodore were stunned looking at Natalie’s photos from childhood to adulthood.

She truly was a little cutie.

That milky white skin, those big watery eyes, you could almost smell the milk fragrance through the screen.

Quentin boasted: "Impressive, right? Some were my sneaky shots, others I got from James’s phone."

Zane opened each picture, clicking the original images and saving them, all in one go.

When he got to Natalie’s high school photos, he paused for a long time.

In the photo, Natalie was wearing a school uniform, her hair in a high ponytail, sleeves rolled to her elbows, hands in her pockets, frowning slightly while listening to someone beside her. In the photo’s corner should be Lawson from high school.

It was the same outfit Natalie had worn the day he ran into her.

At that time, Natalie’s face still had a bit of baby fat, adorable even when serious.

Looking at it, Zane started to laugh.

He hadn’t been part of Natalie’s growth, but seeing these pictures was like watching this little girl grow up firsthand.

She was adorable, but surely also mischievous, a little tyrant at school.

After confirming he had saved all the photos, Zane quickly burned his bridges.

He tagged Quentin: "Can’t you send them privately?"

Quentin, suddenly realizing, clutched his phone tightly.

Shocked, angry.

"What do you want to do!"
