Adored Wild Sixth Miss, Even the Ice-Lord Loses Control
Chapter 1: Sixth Miss, Your Father Is the Imperia’s Wealthiest Man
CHAPTER 1: CHAPTER 1: SIXTH MISS, YOUR FATHER IS THE IMPERIA’S WEALTHIEST MAN
"Mom and Dad, we’re finally kicking Serena, the jinx, out of our house! Why hasn’t the person picking her up arrived yet? Did they back out?"
Listening to the malicious joy coming from downstairs, Serena’s expression remained indifferent as she walked down, her delicate, porcelain-white face devoid of emotion.
Seeing her come down, Timothy Everett couldn’t help but show a trace of embarrassment on his face, "Alright, alright, keep your comments to a minimum!"
"Everything I’m saying is true, why can’t I say it?" Lillian Everett muttered unwillingly, "If Grandma hadn’t insisted on keeping her, that jinx would have been thrown out long ago!"
Amy Miller also looked at Serena with the same disgust, "Serena, you were picked up by the old lady, you’re not a member of our family. But all these years, we raised you, showing you great kindness. Now we don’t ask for any repayment, just don’t come looking for us again. From now on, we have nothing to do with each other!"
Although it’s the countryside, their family was quite wealthy, a prominent family in the village, living quite well.
They had heard that Serena’s biological family was so poor they couldn’t afford a meal, with five other sons. She didn’t want to be burdened by those paupers!
"As you wish." Serena replied carelessly, her beautiful, foxy eyes looking coldly at Amy, "I hope you won’t regret it in the future."
Regret?
Amy Miller felt as if she’d heard the world’s biggest joke, her face showing even more disdain, "Of course, I won’t regret it. Get as far away from me as possible, go back to your pauper family, don’t linger!"
Lillian found it just as laughable, placing her hands on her hips and speaking sharply, "The moment you go back, your poor parents will sell you to some old, ugly man in the mountains for a bride price. Don’t come crying to us then!"
She had long been displeased with Serena. Even though they were both from the countryside, Serena had a face like a vixen and skin that remained flawless and untanned.
It was just so enviable to look at!
"Lillian, don’t bother talking to her!" Amy Miller huffed coldly at Serena, "Just get lost. From now on, we have nothing to do with you, don’t shamelessly stick around!"
The cold glint in Serena’s eyes grew deeper. She picked up the backpack on the sofa and walked out without looking back.
Just then, a male voice came through her earpiece.
"Boss, the car picking you up is stuck not far from the village entrance in a dirt slope."
Serena responded lightly, "Got it."
In her earpiece, Jude Ford scolded indignantly, "Timothy Everett and his family are truly despicable, kicking you out like this. They owe their good life now all to you!"
The Everett family would never have lived so well these years if not for Serena.
Serena’s beautiful foxy eyes lowered slightly, everything she did was for Grandma, who had picked her up and treated her like a real granddaughter, the only person in the family who was genuinely kind to her. Now that Grandma was gone, there was no reason for her to stay.
"Boss, I taught them a little lesson for you!" Jude Ford said angrily.
With that, there was a massive "boom" behind Serena, and the beautiful small house of the Everett family collapsed, knocking Amy Miller and Lillian Everett unconscious.
At the village entrance, a black Ferrari was stuck deep in the mud, unable to move. Butler Lafayette was anxious but helpless.
"Get out."
Serena tapped the car window with her pale fingers. Butler Lafayette looked up and met her exquisite, striking face.
The girl’s features were delicate, her foxy eyes especially captivating, almost too pretty to be real.
Moreover, her features bore a resemblance to the master and mistress...
Amazed, Butler Lafayette instantly knew she was the one he was here to pick up!
He obediently got out of the car as Serena took the driver’s seat, her pale hands expertly maneuvering the steering wheel, easily getting the car out of the mud that had trapped Butler for half an hour.
"Sixth Miss, you’re really something!"
Butler Lafayette exclaimed. Despite being a seasoned driver, he hadn’t managed to free the car, yet she had done it so effortlessly!
"Let’s go."
Serena got in the back seat, her long, straight legs casually crossed, looking every bit the formidable figure.
"But Sixth Miss, the master and mistress instructed me to give these gifts to your adoptive parents, to repay them for raising you..."
Serena lifted her beautiful foxy eyes to look at him, her voice calm, "Do you take orders from them or from me?"
Despite her youth, the aura she exuded was quite oppressive.
"Fr-from you, Sixth Miss!" Butler Lafayette swallowed, "Sixth Miss, I’ll take you to Imperia now!"
Imperia?
Serena languidly raised an eyebrow, remembering the license plate was JD888888, a prestigious number in Imperia, requiring not just wealth but significant influence.
Though she didn’t know what nonsense Amy Miller and the others had heard about her biological parents being paupers, she was now certain they weren’t as described.
"Alright."
Looking at the girl’s cool demeanor, Butler Lafayette couldn’t resist talking to her a bit more, "Sixth Miss, the master and mistress wanted to come for you personally, but the mistress had a relapse, so the master stayed to care for her. The young masters aren’t home now, so I was sent to get you!"
"The master and mistress searched for you all these years, and now they’ve finally found you..."
Serena quietly listened to his chattering, making Butler Lafayette feel even more sympathetic.
Sixth Miss was so well-behaved, the master and mistress would surely adore her!
...
It was evening by the time they arrived at the Everett family residence, a private villa in the most affluent district of Imperia.
The car slowly stopped at the villa gate, and Butler Lafayette’s voice spoke.
"Sixth Miss, we’re here."
"Hmm."
Serena nodded, her cool gaze falling on the plaque on the door, with a large "Everett" written in elegant calligraphy.
She recognized the handwriting as that of the famous calligrapher, Master King, whose work was priceless and often auctioned for sky-high prices.
She playfully curled her red lips, her tone quite casual, "My family is rather wealthy."
"Of course, Sixth Miss, your father is the richest man in Imperia!"
