After Betrayal: Lightning Marriage to Mr. Enigmatic
Chapter 226: I Love You
CHAPTER 226: CHAPTER 226: I LOVE YOU
Cherry Lewis came alone; other than the helicopter pilot, there was no one else.
She couldn’t carry Harry Hunter by herself and could only work with Isabella Weaver to lift Harry Hunter onto the helicopter.
She intended to push Isabella Weaver off the helicopter again, but unexpectedly, as soon as the three of them got on the helicopter, the rooftop had already collapsed.
The helicopter took off a bit slower, and the body was blown open with a hole.
"Go to the hospital, quick!"
Isabella Weaver clutched Harry Hunter, shouting at the pilot with something close to a roar.
But the pilot went straight toward the ocean as if he hadn’t heard.
Isabella Weaver’s face changed dramatically: "Cherry Lewis! What are you trying to do?"
Cherry Lewis stared at her with a peculiar gaze: "You really have extraordinary luck."
"Harry Hunter is dying! He’s lost a lot of blood! Don’t you like him? Why not save him!"
"Of course, I’ll save him, but I must make the rescue worthwhile."
She took out an agreement and placed it in front of Isabella Weaver: "This is your divorce agreement with him. Sign it, and I’ll save him. If not, then you both can go feed the fish in the ocean."
Isabella Weaver didn’t hesitate even for a second; she picked up the pen and wrote her name.
"I’ve signed! Go to the hospital now!"
Cherry Lewis leisurely scrutinized the divorce agreement and laughed heartily: "A bunch of fools, unable to get such a simple signature; it’s much quicker if I do it myself!"
Isabella Weaver finally couldn’t bear it; she slapped her and grabbed her collar, shouting nearly in a frenzy: "If you don’t go to the hospital, I’ll throw you into the ocean to feed the fish first!"
Cherry Lewis’ eyes filled with malice, and she stuffed the agreement into her clothes, no longer pretending to be gentle, she shouted sternly: "Try! Throw me!"
Isabella Weaver dragged her to the door and pressed her head out of the cabin: "You think I don’t dare?!"
Cherry Lewis suddenly smiled cunningly, used force with her feet, and escaped from Isabella Weaver’s grasp, falling straight down.
Isabella Weaver was almost dragged down by her!
Her hands and feet were cold as she looked down, seeing Cherry Lewis opening a parachute mid-air and gliding safely.
She nearly had a heart attack from the shock; she didn’t expect Cherry Lewis had prepared beforehand!
"Pilot, please fly the helicopter to the hospi..."
Before she finished her sentence, the pilot also jumped down with a parachute pack!
The helicopter began to plummet uncontrollably toward the ocean surface.
Isabella Weaver frantically searched around and finally found a parachute, strapping it onto Harry Hunter.
She couldn’t find a second parachute; she knew in her heart that Cherry Lewis deliberately left only one, there was no need to search further.
The unattended helicopter emitted a loud alarm, waking Harry Hunter from his unconsciousness.
Before he could react to where he was, his lips were kissed.
Under the dim cabin lights, his little wife, hair in disarray, face full of tears, still tenderly smiled at him: "Mr. Hunter, there’s something I haven’t had the chance to tell you."
"Isabella..."
"I love you."
After saying those three words, Isabella Weaver held him tightly and jumped off the helicopter together.
She opened Harry Hunter’s parachute, but one parachute couldn’t bear the weight of two adults.
"Mr. Hunter, I’ve said it before, I will never betray you. I didn’t expect the opportunity to prove myself would come so soon."
Harry Hunter’s tears fell on her cheeks.
He had lost too much blood, with multiple fractures on his body, and didn’t even have the strength to hold her for the last time: "Isabella, don’t let go! You don’t need to prove anything! Don’t you dare leave me!"
Isabella Weaver smiled and let go, her body swiftly plummeting into the dark deep sea.
She heard Harry Hunter’s piercing voice echoing from all directions in the night sky: "Isabella!"
