Johan Niles hesitated, "Then why is it so coincidental?"

"Maybe they just weren’t meant to be together, that’s all."

"You really didn’t interfere?"

"I really didn’t. You can ask around again to find out the true reason."

Natalie Niles painstakingly sat up, smiling gracefully, "You, you always jump to conclusions. Only your big sister can be so tolerant of you and not get mad even being misunderstood like this."

"Then I’ll go ask again!"

Johan Niles said, and turned to leave, not even bothering to change his coffee-stained clothes.

He got in his car and drove away, calling Connor, "Connor, where are you? I’m coming to find you! I have something to talk to you about!"

Natalie Niles didn’t know when she’d moved to the window. She watched her brother drive away into the neighborhood, took out her phone and dialed a number, "Make sure Johan Niles has a small accident, don’t let him meet Emmett Price."

Johan Niles didn’t know his elder sister was plotting against him. He had finally gotten the address from Connor’s mouth, suddenly accelerating, wanting to meet him quickly.

Ten minutes later, he was hit by a car running a red light!

The violent impact caused Johan Niles to feel a brief dizziness, and when he came to his senses, he was already being dragged out of the car.

A lot of people surrounded him, the perpetrator did not flee, constantly apologizing.

Johan Niles struggled to stand up, looking at his car which had been smashed flat, filled with anger!

"I’m sorry, I accidentally pressed the accelerator instead of the brake. Are you okay? Are you injured? I’ve already called an ambulance, I’ll accompany you to the hospital for a check-up!"

The car owner was a young woman, with long hair over her shoulders, big eyes that looked pitiful and made one feel sympathetic.

Ordinarily, others might not bear to get angry at such an endearing girl, but unfortunately, Johan Niles was oblivious when it came to women; he had no understanding of pity—he was more concerned with Connor right now.

Johan Niles fiercely grabbed the woman’s collar, nearly choking her, "You damn sure can’t drive on the road, wasting my time! You’re fully responsible! Compensate me for the car! Also, I’m taking your car first!"

His own car was already too smashed to drive, but the woman’s car only had a damaged door and front wing, not affecting usage.

"No, you can’t take my car!"

The woman hurriedly stopped him, not letting him leave, "And you’re injured, you need to go to the hospital immediately!"

Johan Niles angrily pushed her to the ground, grabbed her car keys, kicked away the door that wouldn’t close, and drove off in her car.

Not far out, Johan Niles discovered this car was modified!

The exterior shell was just a Volkswagen Jetta, but it had a top-level engine you’d find in a million-dollar sports car!

In Johan Niles’ life, he only had two hobbies: medicine and cars.

He glanced around the car’s interior and confirmed, the entire car was modified!

Thinking about how the female driver claimed she mistook the accelerator for the brake, Johan Niles sneered in his mind.

Modifying a car like this, clearly someone who knows their cars—a skilled driver—not likely to make such a rookie mistake!

This woman was suspicious!

The moment this thought surfaced in Johan Niles’ mind, another car, like a blinded fool, came crashing towards him!
