In the bathroom, Connor is taking a shower, the sound of running water gently echoing.

Natalie Niles’ hair drips with water, her gaze icily fixed on a certain spot in the darkness outside the window.

Someone has been watching her and Connor.

No, to be precise, watching Connor.

It seems Matt Frinch wasn’t bluffing when he said someone up high wanted Connor dead.

The sound of water stops, Natalie Niles reaches out to pull the curtains closed, dimming the lights to the lowest setting.

She hears the door open, footsteps, the faint fragrance of shower gel, then falls into Connor’s embrace.

"What are you looking at?"

"Nothing."

"Not planning to tell me the truth?"

Connor holds her from behind, kissing her neck, restraining himself, speaking to her gently.

"Since we left the base, there’s been someone watching us. Natalie Niles, do you think I’m a fool? I’ve been a bodyguard for the Young Master for so many years, if I couldn’t even notice this, he’d be long dead."

Natalie Niles turns around, wrapping her arms around Connor’s neck: "It’s not about you. They’re watching me, the military suspects I’m a spy, it’s normal for them to follow me, it’ll be fine once we’re out of this area."

She initiates a kiss, pressing her lips to Connor’s, kissing his brows and eyes.

He wears only a towel, his upper body exposed, firm and sexy, making one’s face flush and heart race.

"Why don’t you kiss me?" There’s a hint of grievance in Natalie Niles’ voice.

"You drugged me again, Natalie Niles."

Connor lifts her chin: "You’re ruthless, placing the drug in your mouth, kissing me while passing the drug to me, are you in that much of a hurry?"

Natalie Niles cradles his face, her eyes reddening: "Do you like me, Connor?"

"I do."

"Even knowing I’m not a good person?"

"I’ve always known you’re not a good person, but I can’t help it, your tactics are too high, I’m no match, I’ve fallen."

Connor carries her to bed, pressing her beneath him: "How much did you use? I’m so hard it hurts, feel it."

Natalie Niles’ hand reaches down, feeling the intense heat: "And you’re still holding back?"

Connor bites her chest hard, raising his head after a while: "Are you stupid? Even if you didn’t drug me, I would’ve wanted to ravage you, with the drug you’ll regret it if you can’t handle it later!"

"I only used a little, I wanted you to take me while you’re sober, are you sober now?"

Connor is as sober as can be, he’s acutely aware that something happened, but Natalie Niles refuses to say.

He lowers his head to kiss her, stripping off her clothes, fulfilling her wish.

He can no longer control himself.

Yet he still kisses her tenderly, gently caressing her skin, easing her initial pain.

However, because the drug was shared mouth to mouth, Natalie Niles also ingested some, her whole being engulfed in flames, beyond pain, feeling only boundless pleasure.

She knew Connor must be amazing, but she underestimated his desire for her, underestimated his stamina.

Connor seals her lips, biting her in punishment, his fingers gripping tightly, hearing her muffle her moans to his rhythm, wishing for nothing more than to pass eternity like this with her.
