CHAPTER 587: CHAPTER 587: I AM NOT A ONE-NIGHT STAND!

Connor glanced at Cora Ginger, his tone filled with rejection: "Didn’t I tell you not to just barge into my house?"

"I saw your door was open, so I came in. You seem to never have the habit of locking your door."

Cora Ginger placed a bag of food on the table in his living room, contemplated for a moment, then carried the food into the kitchen, opened the refrigerator and put it inside.

As she turned around to come back out, she saw Connor stroking a pure black rabbit, and she unconsciously froze in her tracks.

He seemed to be looking more handsome and charming, she had originally thought he was good-looking in white shirt and black suit, but now seeing him in deep sea blue shirt, she realized that this color suited him even better, enhancing his charisma.

Yet, he completely ignored her presence, as if she was air, and only gently stroked the rabbit, as if it was a treasure.

Cora Ginger put on a smile, breaking the stiffness with her usual lively tone: "When did you get a rabbit? It’s so cute! Let me see it!"

She said as she leaned beside Connor, trying to touch the little black rabbit.

Connor’s sharp gaze swept over: "Don’t touch it!"

Cora Ginger’s hand halted mid-air.

The grievance in her heart gradually surfaced. In the past, when she was here, she could touch anything, now she couldn’t even stroke his rabbit?

"Why are you so stingy, it’s just a rabbit, what harm does it do for me to touch it?"

"If you like it, go buy one yourself. You can’t touch mine."

"I think this one is pretty nice, you might as well give it to me!"

Connor suddenly felt a bit weary, for some reason.

He used to rather enjoy Cora Ginger’s antics, finding her lively, adorable, understanding, and occasionally a little capricious, which added some charm.

But now he found capriciousness very undesirable.

His Natalie was never capricious, she was patient, restrained, calm, and rational. He had only seen her indulge once, and that was when she called his name under him, saying she liked him.

"The rabbit belongs to my girlfriend."

Connor stood up with the rabbit in his arms, "You should leave now, don’t hold any fantasies, we cannot get back together, my heart and soul are hers now."
