CHAPTER 81: CHAPTER 81 YOU FEED ME

Harry Hunter didn’t feel any threat from her eye-rolling at all; instead, he found it amusing and personally served her some lotus leaf chicken soup: "This is nourishing. You should drink a bit more."

Isabella Weaver was wary. Why was he asking her to nourish herself for no reason?

Having a baby?

Did he add something extra in it?

Harry Hunter could tell from her expression what she was thinking. He got up and knocked on her head, helpless yet amused, saying, "Stop having those skewed thoughts in your little head."

Isabella Weaver covered her head where he had knocked it painfully, feeling a bit defiant.

It’s not like she’s always having those thoughts, but he’s always so eager, as is his family, about having kids.

"I’m just thinking you’re working hard; your face has shrunk a bit. I’m trying to help you nourish your body. It’s fine messing around when you’re young, but if you overdraw too much, after a few years your body will collapse."

Isabella Weaver looked him up and down, mischief gleaming in her eyes: "So experienced, are you the one who’s overdrawn too much and your body collapsed?"

Harry Hunter stared deeply at her: "Do you want to try?"

Isabella Weaver’s face instantly flushed pink. She clearly didn’t mean it that way, but the way he said it made it seem like it was heading in another direction!

She quickly lowered her head and took a sip of soup, "Hmm, the soup is nice, quite fresh..."

Harry Hunter suddenly felt an urge to hug her. She had no idea how incredibly attractive she looked in this state.

Fresh, adorable, charming, and bright.

Like a clear spring, she flowed into his heart, bringing his life a lively aura.

When marrying, he didn’t care about much; he had everything already. As long as being together felt comfortable, that was enough.

But he has been waiting for this comfortable person for a long time.

The dinner was particularly sumptuous, and the cooking style was totally different from the Weaver Family’s. Everything was fresh and light, with small portions but many varieties.

Isabella Weaver’s previous words to Aunt Hart weren’t just to be polite; she really thought all the dishes were done well, and she liked this kind of light cuisine.

There were two shrimp dishes on the table, one was Jade Shrimp with additional ingredients, and the other was plain steamed shrimp.

It couldn’t be such a coincidence that she liked shrimp and there happened to be two shrimp dishes on the table; Harry Hunter must have specially instructed this.

Isabella Weaver looked up and saw Harry Hunter across the table taking a shrimp, deftly peeling it, and naturally placing it on her plate.

In a short while, six steamed shrimps were all in front of her.

"Mr. Hunter..."

"Hmm."

"You don’t need to give them all to me."

"Don’t like them?"

"No, I..."

"I know you like them, I like them too."

Isabella Weaver immediately picked one up: "Then you eat!"

"This is what I peeled for you. You’re taking my laborious work and giving it back to me. Isn’t that a bit off?"

Isabella Weaver paused, so what to do?

Six shelled shrimps were all peeled by him. She couldn’t peel any even if she wanted!

"I think the Jade Shrimp also tastes good. How about you feed me this one?"

What?

Feed?

Did she hear him right!

"Unwilling? I peeled so many shrimp for you, and you find it so difficult to offer me a shrimp? Aren’t partners supposed to support each other? Being so distant really makes me sad."

Hmm...

This seems to make some sense.

His peeling of shrimp for her did make her feel warm inside.

Isabella Weaver picked up a piece of Jade Shrimp and held it to Harry Hunter’s lips.

Harry Hunter opened his mouth to eat it, his gaze becoming extraordinarily deep.

Isabella Weaver’s cheeks again blushed pink—this feeding action was really too ambiguous, making the whole atmosphere feel not quite right.

She awkwardly picked up a piece of shrimp from her own plate and put it into her mouth, chewed twice, and suddenly froze!
