CHAPTER 85: CHAPTER 85 JUST ONE BEDROOM

Harry Hunter heard the door open and looked up, "Why are you standing there frozen? Come over here."

Isabella Weaver didn’t move. Why should she go over there? Was she expected to sleep with him?

"There are pajamas in the wardrobe. Go and change. It’s very late; you should sleep now."

Isabella Weaver was even more reluctant to go over after hearing this. She turned her head and left to find another room to sleep in.

His villa and the Weaver Family villa had the same layout. The Weaver Family villa had a ton of rooms, so his place must have them too.

However, after Isabella Weaver checked all the rooms, she was stunned!

There were indeed many rooms, but they were all used for other purposes: a study, a music room, a gym, and so on!

There wasn’t a single bedroom!

Harry Hunter appeared behind her at some point and casually put his arm around her waist, leaning close to her ear to ask, "What are you looking for? A bedroom?"

Isabella Weaver nodded.

Harry Hunter chuckled softly, "There’s only one bedroom in the house. I live alone. What do I need so many bedrooms for?"

Isabella Weaver couldn’t believe someone would fit such a big villa with just one bedroom, "But don’t your friends come over to hang out or stay over?"

Harry Hunter replied nonchalantly, "I never let anyone stay over."

Isabella Weaver fell silent. So, had she broken his rule?

She had spent the night in his bedroom last night. Where had he slept?

"How did you sleep last night?"

"I didn’t sleep last night. I was busy handling things."

Isabella Weaver was shocked. Had he really gone a whole day and night without sleep?

Was his body made of iron or something?

She gave him a shove, "Then you go quickly and rest. I can sleep on the sofa. Tomorrow I’ll find a place... Tomorrow I won’t bother you anymore."

She initially intended to say that she wouldn’t come after finding a place but didn’t want Harry Hunter to know about her dropping out of school, so she changed her words midway.

Harry Hunter knew she had nowhere to stay. She wasn’t willing to ask for help, even though she was well aware this kind of small issue would be incredibly easy for him to resolve.

She truly was different from other girls. Such a good opportunity to act pitiful and gain benefits, yet she easily let it pass.

Harry Hunter didn’t expose her dropout situation. He took hold of Isabella Weaver’s wrist and pulled her into the bedroom, "You sleep in the bedroom. I’ll take the sofa."

"How can that be right? I can’t occupy your bed. I should sleep on the sofa."

"If I say it’s fine, it is fine."

Harry Hunter said flatly and turned to leave.

Isabella Weaver stood in the bedroom for a while before going to the wardrobe to get some clothes.

But once she opened the wardrobe, she was astonished. Inside were all sorts of women’s clothing. Yesterday there weren’t any pajamas, but today there were, and dozens of them!

Isabella Weaver touched each piece of brand-new clothing, her heart deeply touched.

He indeed considered every detail, prepared everything for her, and seemed to plan on her staying long-term.

But this marriage... is it real?

Wasn’t it supposed to be temporary?

She slowly took a diamond ring out of her inner pocket.

This ring, she had kept it close for fear of losing it and being unable to repay.

Isabella Weaver was carefully examining the ring when suddenly the door was pushed open again, and Harry Hunter returned.

Seeing her holding the diamond ring, a hint of warmth appeared on his usually indifferent face.

"Why do you just look at it without wearing it? It suits you very well. Even the size is just right; it was meant to be yours." Harry Hunter wasn’t lying; this ring was his mother’s wedding ring, and amazingly, even though it didn’t fit his mother perfectly, it fit Isabella Weaver just right.

Perhaps, everything is destined.
