CHAPTER 32: CHAPTER 31: EATING BREAKFAST PREPARED BY THE GENERAL, PART 2

"I learned it when I’m still young. My father said that as a sentinel, I needed to learn how to cook so that I could cook for my future partner."

"Your father also knows how to cook?"

"Yes, it seems that all the sentinels of the Vespertine family needed to know how to cook.

After fifteen minutes, Layton finished cooking.

"I’m done cooking. Let’s go to the dining room," Layton said while carrying some dishes with him.

"Ok, let’s go," Ryzel said while getting two dishes and following Layton Lewis to the dining room.

Ryzel put the dishes on the dining table and planned to go back to the kitchen to get the rest of the dishes, but he was stopped by Layton Lewis.

"No need; I can handle it. Just wait for me," Layton Lewis said, and went to get all the dishes left inside the kitchen.

Ryzel sat down on the chair, waiting for Layton Lewis to get the rest of the dishes.

Everything on the table looked appetizing. Most of the dishes were vegetable dishes, and only a few had meat dishes on them.

Looking at the dishes on the table, Ryzel immediately knew that the food on the table was made for his taste.

"Ok, let’s eat before anything gets cold," Layton Lewis said as soon as he sat down. He served some dishes on Ryzel’s plate before putting some on his plate.

Ryzel first tasted the dishes and was surprised that they were all very delicious.

He thought that Layton Lewis just knew how to cook, but he didn’t think the taste of the dishes was very delicious.

The taste can even be compared to that of those expensive restaurants outside. It can even be said to be more delicious.

"It’s delicious! General Layton, you can already open your own restaurant," Ryzel praised.

After cleaning the dining table, Layton Lewis sat down on the chair again.

"Ryzel, my friend will be visiting later this afternoon; are you okay with it?" Layton asked.

"I don’t mind," Ryzel said.

He knew that Layton’s friend was probably curious about him; that’s why he wanted to visit.

Ryzel doesn’t mind because Lyre also sent him a message asking him if he could visit him. He knew that his friend was both curious and worried.

"Okay. If you are uncomfortable with him later on, be sure to tell me."

"Sure. My friend also said he wanted to visit me this afternoon; is that okay?" Ryzel asked back.

"That’s great! So can I send my current location to my friend?" Ryzel asked, as it is related to the privacy of General Layton Lewis.
