CHAPTER 53: CHAPTER 52: ESTABLISHING A MENTAL LOCK 3

"Okay, I know no need to mention it," Ryzel said while looking away.

Even though he couldn’t move now, he actually enjoyed it last night so he was just complaining because he couldn’t move.

He knew that if wakes up in a good condition every time he would agree to have long passionate night together because it was also very pleasurable.

"Okay. I won’t say anything more," Layton said while straightening his hair a little.

"I will just prepare the healing cabin for you. Just wait for a bit," Layton Lewis said.

Afterwards Layton Lewis went to the sideroom to prepare the healing cabin.

After waiting for a few minutes, Layton Lewis finally went out of the side room.

"Are you done assembling it?" Ryzel asked as soon as he saw Layton Lewis walking towards him.

"Yes, it is done. You can now soak in it. I’ll carry you there," Layton answered.

"Ok," Ryzel agreed.

Layton Lewis bent down and took Ryzel in his arms.

As soon as they entered the sideroom Ryzel immediately saw the healing cabin filled with blue liquid.

The liquid in the healing cabin is a mixture of different types of potions. Originally, these potions can’t be mixed together to heal something or to multiply their effects.

However, the healing cabin precisely calculated all the data of the potions and stimulated them to increase the efficiency of all the potions inside the cabin.

Ryzel was wearing a very thin nightgown so he was already ready to soak inside the healing cabin.

To use the healing cabin the person who needs to be healed is required to be thoroughly immersed in the healing cabin.

As soon as they entered the healing cabin the person who needed to be healed would immediately be immersed in the healing liquid.

As soon as the healing cabin is closed, the person inside wouldn’t feel anything. Their senses would be dulled and their consciousness would blur a little bit.

They wouldn’t even feel the time passing as they are immersed in the healing cabin.

As they were immersed deep inside the healing cabin, the healing liquids would also be doing their jobs.

They would only be awakened when the timer is already finished.

Ryzel was already accustomed to using a healing cabin because when he was a child he was always using a healing cabin to cure his illness.

"Layton, you can put me inside the healing cabin already," Ryzel said to Layton Lewis who was still carrying him while standing in front of the healing cabin.

"Ok," Layton said and put Ryzel inside the healing cabin gently.

"I will set the timer to 30 minutes," Layton Lewis said after putting Ryzel down.

30 minutes is the optimal time for Ryzel to absorb the healing properties of the healing liquid and remove his body soreness.

30 minutes would also be enough for him to rejuvenate his body from the overall fatigue he experienced for the past few years.

"Ok, see you in 30 minutes," Ryzel said while closing his eyes.

Layton Lewis closed the healing cabin and waited for thirty minutes to pass. He just sat outside the healing cabin and waited.

Looking at Ryzel who was peacefully rejuvenating his body inside the healing cabin, he was relieved.

Ryzel’s physique was only level F. It is very low compared to his 3S-level physique. Even though he was very careful last night, the establishment of the mental lock still took too long.

He was even amazed that Ryzel stayed awake during the whole time and didn’t faint until the establishment of their mental lock.

Layton Lewis knew that after they got married they needed to establish a mental lock within 48 hours after they signed their marriage certificate.

He didn’t mention it to Ryzel because he doesn’t want to force him and he also wanted to give him time to think over it and prepare himself.

He knew that they just met again yesterday after years of not seeing each other. So, Layton Lewis knew that for Ryzel he can be considered as just one of his acquaintances in the past.

He also just had a break up with another person so Layton Lewis doesn’t want to force him.

He already decided that if Ryzel doesn’t mention establishing a mental lock within 48 hours then he could use some of his merits to prolong the waiting period to wait for Ryzel.

When the federation made the 48 hours waiting period for the establishment of a mental lock between a guide and a sentinel there is actually a line saying that if a guide and a sentinel can’t establish a mental lock within the 48 hours they can use some of their achievements in the federation to make the waiting hours longer.

If they can’t provide a proper compensation then they could only be forced to establish a mental lock under the watch of the marriage center.

Most of the citizens just ignored those lines as they can’t even afford the compensation mentioned. Over the years, the provision was only used for a few times. That’s why over time most of the citizens forgot about it.

He has a lot of military merits that aren’t actually properly compensated as he is already a general and leading a legion himself.

They couldn’t raise his rank any longer and they also can’t raise his salary any more. So, a lot of his military merits aren’t actually compensated properly.

With his merits he could at least prolong the 48 hours into at least a month. Any longer than a month won’t be possible as the federation won’t tolerate it even if he uses more of his merits as a compensation.

Layton Lewis didn’t expect that Ryzel would immediately mention the establishment of a mental lock within the day.

He knew that Ryzel was a person who didn’t dwell in the past. Ryzal was very rational and decisive so Layton Lewis knew that it wouldn’t take too long before Ryzel could accept establishing a mental lock with himself.

Layton Lewis just didn’t expect that Ryzel would mention it on the first day.

He was overjoyed when he heard Ryzel mentioning the establishment of a mental lock. Ryzel’s mental preparedness was really good but because of it he also felt a little bit angry.

He knew that it was unreasonable but just thinking that Ryzel was already prepared to readily establish a mental lock with whomever he married made him angry.

Layton Lewis knew that in Ryzel’s situation he would have married anyone who reached the compatibility rate for marriage. So Layton Lewis was unreasonably angry thinking that Ryzel was already prepared to establish a mental lock with someone other than himself.

Because of it his action was fiercer last night even though he controlled himself not to be overboard as he already knew that with their compatibility rate it would take a very long time to establish the mental lock.

Most people don’t know how long the establishment of the mental lock of a guide and a sentinel with over 90 percent compatibility rate. But Layton Lewis knew about it from the stories he heard from his grandfather.

He knew that the establishment of the mental lock would take longer than ten hours which would be really draining for the guides.

So as soon as he cleaned up Ryzel in the morning he immediately ordered a healing cabin for Ryzel.

He doesn’t have any healing cabin in his house as he rarely stayed at the house. He often stayed in the army or visited his parents so there are no healing cabins prepared in the house.

Unlike regular items which are readily delivered the minute you click them, healing cabins won’t arrive immediately.

Healing cabins needed to have a lot of checks and approval before it can finally be delivered so most of the time it would arrive the next day after you ordered it. Thankfully he knew someone who could arrange it immediately.
