Layton Lewis didn’t want that to happen so he was always staying at the frontlines even though staying there would only worsen his condition.

It is better for him to stay at the frontlines to lessen the damage he might cause to the people around him.

He could also run to the very front and cause the zergs a lot of trouble if ever his mania was triggered. At least he could still be helpful and not just cause trouble before dying.

The federation also can’t provide a solution and they can’t even pull out Layton Lewis as he was very essential in the battlefield. The presence of Layton Lewis in the battlefield always reassures the people because as long as he was there it meant they would win.

Over the years, his presence on the battlefield became synonymous with victory. That’s why the federation can’t even dismiss him even though he was a big danger himself.

The federation still wasn’t able to research anything that can stop the mania of sentinels. The situation of sentinels were still the same, as soon as sentinels had a mania they would likely die or comatose without ever waking up.

The federation’s only suggestion was for him to marry a guide just like his parents.

Knowing his condition his parents were very worried about him. That’s why his mother was also relentless when it comes to pairing him up with a guide.

His parents and other people who knew his condition actually agreed with it. Even without his permission they tried to match him with a lot of capable guides.

However they end up being disappointed because his match rate result was always low.

He also stopped his parents behavior 2 years ago. After getting angry at them two years ago his parents never tried to match him with other guides in secret.

Unfortunately Layton Lewis never listened to them because he knew he couldn’t forget Ryzel.

He thought it was already good enough. However after establishing a mental lock he finally felt the peace of his mental power for the first time.

He didn’t understand why a lot of sentinels were looking forward to a mental lock and why they are obsessed with it. He could finally understand why they did so.

The peace he is experiencing now is indeed enough for sentinels to be obsessed with it. After always being disturbed by pollutants and outward noises they could finally feel the peace which they hadn’t experienced for a very long time.

The thought of locking up Ryzel even came to his mind but he eventually suppressed it. He knew that there would be nothing good if he ever locked up Ryzel.

Ryzel was obviously someone who wouldn’t just stay still once his freedom was compromised.

Layton Lewis was sure that if he did something like that his goal won’t ever be reached.

With Ryzel’s personality he would definitely find a way to leave him which Layton Lewis can’t tolerate. That’s why he immediately came to his senses and didn’t entertain any of his dangerous impulses.

Layton Lewis can’t bear the thought of Ryzel leaving him behind. He already lost Ryzel for two years so he won’t let anything or anyone separate him and Ryzel even if it was himself.

Establishing a mental lock with Ryzel already gave him a lot of advantage so he won’t do anything that would make Ryzel leave.

With the mental lock he already formed a connection with Ryzel and can be said that they are now the closest with one another.

Their compatibility rate was really high because as soon as he felt the mental lock being established his agitated mental sea immediately became peaceful.

He also felt their connection immediately. With the mental power connection he could feel the soothing mental power of Ryzel in his mental sea.

Ryzel’s mental power was protecting his mental sea, keeping everything at bay.

It can be seen that the mental power of Ryzel was very strong as he was able to immediately calm down everything in his mental sea.

Many guides have already tried entering his mental sea and try to at least clean it a bit. However, as soon as they entered his mental sea they were all scared of what they saw and their mental power was just swallowed and didn’t have any effect at all.

It can be said that it truly proved how compatible they are. The guide who could have a high compatibility rate and be his partner would never be weak as he is a sentinel with a 3S physique and 3S mental power.

The gap between mental power can’t be too wide when a sentinel and a guide have a high compatibility.

It can only be said that they have a high compatibility rate when all their indicators at least match each other including their capability and mental power.

For normal citizens in the federation they only knew that the level is from F to S however the military have more comprehensive ways to check the upper limit of levels.

However the military detected that there are higher levels than S. After S they have 2S, then they have 3S.

Layton Lewis was not yet sure if 3S was the highest level because it is only the highest level the military detector can measure.

With how powerful Ryzel’s effect on his mental sea it is already determined that he was an S level guide. He was just not yet sure if his level was really S or higher.

They would know it after Ryzel finished testing in the military.

He needed to take Ryzel to their main battleship to check his true level after all the things they needed to do were settled.

Layton Lewis stopped thinking about other things as he saw the timer reaching the 30 minutes mark.

He went to the bathroom to get a towel and opened the healing cabin to take out Ryzel.

He carried Ryzel out of the cabin and wrapped him with a towel.

"Ryzel, how do you feel?"

As soon as he was lifted out of the healing cabin he heard Layton Lewis question.

Ryzel felt that the heaviness and soreness of his body was gone. He couldn’t feel any pain anymore, in fact he felt that his body was better than before.

He tried moving his hands to see if he was really okay. His hands were moving just fine without any pain unlike a while ago when he couldn’t even move his hands.

"I’m feeling okay. I don’t feel any pain anymore," Ryzel replied happily.

"That’s great," Layton Lewis said while putting Ryzel down on the sofa near the wall.

"It seems that having a healing cabin is really worth it. I don’t feel pain anymore. In fact it seems that my body is better than before," Ryzel said.

He was running around for the past few weeks so it can’t be helped that the fatigue accumulated so he was always feeling tired.

After soaking in the healing cabin it seems that all the fatigue he accumulated vanished. The tiredness he was feeling these days was gone and he could feel that he had a lot of energy.

"Then it seems that your body properly absorbed the healing elements of the potions in the healing cabin."

The healing cabin works on priority. It would always heal the worst first before treating other wounds or diseases on the body as long as it still has enough healing properties from the potions. If the healing properties of the potions aren’t enough it would also stop the treatment.

So after treating the soreness of his body the healing cabin still has enough healing capabilities to make another run and treat the rest of his body. That’s why he felt his body was lighter than normal and can’t feel any fatigue anymore.

"I’ll take a shower first," Ryzel said after resting on the sofa for a little bit.

His body was fine but the potions that weren’t absorbed were sticking on his body which made him feel very sticky.
