    The woman, holding the child, turned around in confusion, revealing a face he didn’t recognize.

    “Something like that, I have a small share.” The man, dressed in a silver-grey suit that heightened his already tall stature, his gaze falling on the child in her arms, asked, “Is this your son?”

    Ning Yichu wanted to deny it, but the words wouldn’t come out.

    The man scrutinized her expression carefully, just as an announcement looking for a child came through the broadcast. Seeing something in her demeanor, he smiled and said, “Why is it that every time I meet you, you’re in such a mess?”
