CHAPTER 520: 499: DISCIPLINARY ACTION (PART 1)

Ye Ling didn’t say a word, just quietly watched Ye Qian. Her demeanor was exceedingly aggravating to Ye Qian; she was calm one moment, and the next, she jumped up pointing at Ye Ling and began to curse, completely transforming from her usual image.

"Ye Ling, why did you have to do this? Do you want to see me driven to death to feel happy? I know you’ve always been jealous of how mom treats me well, so now you want to see me suffer, don’t you? Well, dream on. I won’t let you get your wish." Ye Qian’s expression seemed she wanted to bite Ye Ling to death.

"Say whatever you like. If you don’t involve me, I won’t bother with your matters. Blame only yourself for not remembering what I told you when we were kids - not to provoke me. But you seem to have never remembered that." Ye Ling was quite composed.

"Yes, you’re living better than me now, so you think you’re always right." Ye Qian suddenly laughed and turned to Shen Bin. "You see, this is the woman you love. Do you see now how malicious she really is? If she’s ruthless to her own sister, what would she do to an outsider?"

In front of the couple, Zhao Guodong disdainfully looked at Ye Qian. "Clearly, you are the one scheming against others, with a malicious mind, yet now you’re blaming others for being malicious. I’ve never seen such thick-skinned people like you."

Ye Qian wasn’t provoked by Zhao Guodong’s words, and instead retorted back. "So what if I have a malicious mind? But what about this person? In your eyes, hasn’t she always been good? But look at what she’s doing now. You’re finally seeing her true colors! You shouldn’t just disbelieve my words; if she can be so ruthless to her own sister, imagine towards outsiders. If she can be heartless to someone with her own flesh and blood, her heart must be cruel. Don’t be deceived by her facade, one day you will find out."

"Thanks for your advice. We all know what kind of person Ye Ling is, but we only now see what kind of person you are," Liu Nan also looked at Ye Qian with displeasure.

Ye Qian completely ignored them, as if they were insignificant, and instead turned her head to glare directly at Shen Bin.

"Ye Qian, you can’t keep making more mistakes." With a single sentence, Shen Bin declared his stance.

After laughing enough, she mockingly swept her gaze over the people in the room, "Today you all mock me, look down on me. One day, I’ll make you regret what’s happened today."

Leaving behind harsh words, Ye Qian strode out of the ward.

Liu Nan watched her walk out so boldly. "How can there be such a person? Clearly everyone exposed her actions, yet she shoves the blame onto others. Though I haven’t interacted with her much, she seemed quite gentle on ordinary days!"

"This is ’familiar faces, but unknown hearts’." Zhao Guodong originally despised Ye Qian. "Don’t worry, her mother-in-law witnessed today’s events. When she returns home, it won’t go well for her. We won’t need to deal with her; someone else will."

The two exchanged glances and smiled evilly.

Ye Ling wasn’t as relaxed as they were. "Ye Qian has a strong sense of revenge. I suggest everyone be cautious in the future and avoid confronting her if possible!"

Zhao Guodong was indifferent. "Don’t worry. What can a woman like her do to us?"

Seeing his attitude, Ye Ling knew it was pointless to say anything, so she called Liu Nan over and gave her a few reminders. Thus, the matter was considered settled, and since they were leaving the hospital today, Ye Ling packed her things without mentioning the incident again.

On the other hand, Shen Bin pondered over his wife’s words carefully, ultimately making a decision. The next day, it was unclear who exposed Ye Qian’s miscarriage allegations against Zhao Guodong to the military, and the company immediately sent someone to investigate, questioning Zhao Guodong and others. A few days later, Ye Qian received disciplinary action.

With this punishment, Ye Village would no longer promote her, and faced with a dead-end, she’d be fired.

Zhang Zhenlian coldly looked at her husband. "I’ll return home after you sign this divorce agreement. From today, I’m moving to my mother’s house."

From that day forward, Zhang Zhenlian resolved to get a divorce, but Si Daochen was adamantly refusing, carefully trying to placate her.

Seeing the situation unchanged for so long, Si Daochen couldn’t endure any longer. "Don’t think that because your wings are strong now, I have no way to deal with you. You’re a teacher now; does your school know about your family’s commotion from before?"

Zhang Zhenlian laughed at him. "You really don’t care about me. After the incident, I received a warning from the school, so using this as a threat won’t work anymore. Better come up with something else. Besides, divorcing now is beneficial; who knows, Ye Qian might divorce sometime too. Then you two can openly be together, isn’t that better?"
