CHAPTER 218: CHAPTER 218: I’M PREGNANT (PART 22)

She nodded, "Okay."

When they left together, a dozen women holding wine glasses in the hall laughed together.

"What’s going on? Elliot Gill actually found a lame woman."

"I wanted to say that earlier, but feared they’d hear it, so I didn’t. What is Gill thinking, finding a lame woman and bringing her here? Isn’t he afraid of being ridiculed? It seems this woman really has some tricks."

"You all don’t understand. Men only care about face and figure. Whether lame or not doesn’t matter, as long as they can go for it."

The group erupted in laughter.

——

"I’ve already set this new phone to silent so it won’t be discovered. You don’t need to carry it with you. Just leave it in your bedroom and use it to contact me when I’m not here. Not having a phone is really inconvenient." Lily Green handed the new phone to Logan Moore, "Here you go."

Logan Moore took it and looked at it, "It seems expensive. How much was it?"

Afraid he’d insist on repaying her, Lily Green rushed to say, "This is a gift from me to you. If you insist on repaying me, I’m leaving right now and will never speak to you again."

He laughed, "How do you know everything I’m thinking?"

"Well, I do know a little bit about you."

"You’ve given me a gift, so I should return the favor, but I don’t know what to give you."

"I don’t want anything; I just want you." Lily Green wrapped her arms around his neck, "Give yourself to me."

He swallowed, "You really want me?"

"Yes."

"I’ll give myself to you now."

"Mm." Her body fell onto the bed; he pressed down on her, kissing her young lips. Though his movements weren’t skilled, he made her heart pound.

He kissed her while undoing her clothes.

Lily Green opened her eyes slightly, looking at him so close, mumbling, "I always thought you were pure-hearted and abstinent."

"Even the most pure-hearted can be tempted by a girl they like."

Unable to handle his gaze, she demanded strongly, "Turn off the light."

"No." His voice was deep and pleasant, "I want to see the wonderful you."

Both of them were new to this. This man-woman celebration took over an hour to find the rhythm.

After that, it became unstoppable.

It continued until late at night before it ended.

Lily Green was exhausted and slept until noon before waking.

Her waist ached, and her legs were sore.

While she was taking a shower, Logan Moore returned.

Even though she was already his woman, Lily Green was still not used to it, quickly turning away as her face flushed, "You... don’t look."

He laughed, "I’ve brought food for you; eat while it’s hot."

"Okay, I know."

He closed the door and went out.

By afternoon, whenever Logan Moore had free time, he’d return to be with her, spending two days like this before his mother noticed something was wrong.

Seeing her son always running to his room and eating much more than before, she secretly observed.

This morning, after Logan Moore delivered breakfast to Lily Green and came out without taking the tray, his mother took the opportunity to go to Logan Moore’s bedroom.

And pushed open the door.

Wrapped in a towel, Lily Green met her.

Seeing this scene, his mother was too angry to speak, "How... How can you be here?!"

Lily Green immediately grabbed her clothes and went to the bathroom to change. After changing, she candidly said, "Logan and I are currently dating. I’m sorry you had to find out this way."

"A few days ago, he still said you were just friends."

"We were indeed friends a few days ago, but since then, we’ve started dating." Lily Green replied neither humbly nor arrogantly, "However, relationships are between two people and haven’t escalated to marriage yet, so there’s no need to report to parents."

"Miss Green, we appreciate your donation to our temple, but you’re a wealthy heiress, and we’re not of equal standing. Logan really doesn’t match you. Moreover, how can you, a girl, stay quietly at a man’s place? Didn’t your parents teach you girls should be reserved?"

"Auntie, I’m already 26 and not a little girl anymore. I like your son and want to be with him; what need is there for reservation?"

"Our family will never agree to you being together." His mother’s face turned livid with anger, "Don’t expect any result with Logan!"

"Logan is an adult; he is free to be with whoever he wants. Auntie, although you are his mother, you don’t have the right to completely interfere in his major life decisions. As parents, wouldn’t you hope for your child’s happiness?"

His mother couldn’t win the argument, stood up, and directly ordered her, "You must leave the temple immediately! If you’re not gone within half an hour, I’ll have someone force you to leave. You won’t be allowed back at the temple in the future."

The door slammed shut as Lily Green began packing her things. Of course, she’d leave on her own; she couldn’t let herself be dragged out tied up, which would be too embarrassing.

Since Logan Moore didn’t bring his phone, she couldn’t notify him.

Hence, she wrote a note and put it in his blanket.

The note read: [Call me.]

After she dragged her suitcase and left, only then did his mother go find her son.

She called him into the room.

"How dare you let Miss Green stay at the temple? Logan, do you even see your father and me?"

"Have you seen Lily?"

His mother was filled with anger, "Yes, I have. I wondered why you’ve been so restless these past few days, taking every chance to go back to your room. Turns out there’s a woman hidden there. That Miss Green really has no shame, living at a man’s place without getting married."

"Mom! That’s a terrible thing to say. What did you say to Lily?"

Furious, his mother replied, "I told her to leave and never come back!"

Hearing this, Logan Moore immediately got up and ran back to his room, and upon opening the door, sure enough, Lily Green was gone.

His heart sank, and he instantly grabbed his phone to call her.

At this time, Lily Green was in a car at the foot of the mountain and hadn’t left yet.

"Lily, if my mom said anything unpleasant, I apologize on her behalf."

"I haven’t left; I’m at the hotel at the foot of the mountain, the car is here."

"Wait for me."

Logan Moore hung up the phone and hurriedly ran out of the temple, with his mother chasing him behind, "Logan, where are you going? Come back!"

Logan Moore didn’t listen to a word of what she said; he ran faster and faster, leaving his mother behind. She couldn’t keep up and let the Little Monks chase him.

By the time the Little Monks reached the hotel entrance, Lily Green had already driven away with Logan Moore.

Logan Moore looked to the side at Lily Green, breathless, "What did my mom say to you?"

"What else could she say? She said they wouldn’t agree to us being together."

"I’ll convince her and my dad."

Lily Green laughed, "I think it’ll be difficult. Why don’t we elope, have a few kids, then come back? I guarantee your parents won’t have any other thoughts."

Logan Moore turned to look at her, "We can’t. My mom has a strong temperament; I’m afraid she won’t handle it well."

"So, I should... take you back now?"

He nodded, "Yes."
