CHAPTER 366: JIANG XI, WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?

Yu Li hadn't expected the person involved to come looking for her first.

When she spotted the familiar figure waiting below her dormitory, Yu Li raised an eyebrow slightly. She wasn't in the best mood today and wanted to avoid trouble, so she tried to slip past unnoticed.

But the other person spotted her immediately. "Yu Li, can we talk?" she called out.

Seeing no escape, Yu Li reluctantly turned around, her expression half-amused. "Talk? I thought you wouldn't want to speak with me."

Jiang Xi clenched her fists, lowering her gaze. "What happens in the dungeon stays there. I can separate reality from the game."

"Oh really?" Yu Li touched her chin, chuckling lightly. "If that were true, why seek me out? We don't even know each other."

Jiang Xi's breath hitched at these words.

After a long pause, she finally looked up, forcing her voice to remain steady. "Fine, I did want to discuss dungeon matters. Could we go somewhere more private?"

"There's nothing to discuss," Yu Li said coolly. "Are you here to ask why I attacked you? Or to beg me to stop targeting you? Surely you're not here to recruit me into Peace to become your teammate?" She tucked a stray lock of hair behind her ear, glancing at Jiang Xi. "If that's the case, go ask Bo Jingmo instead."

Jiang Xi's expression stiffened. She had actually tried contacting Bo Jingmo yesterday.

Only to discover he'd already deleted her from his contacts.

Even Hou Liang hadn't been spared.

This was completely unlike Bo Jingmo - he rarely deleted friends. The only possible explanation... was that new girlfriend of his.

Ever since that woman appeared, Bo Jingmo had been distancing himself from them.

And now Yu Li's words confirmed Jiang Xi's suspicions.

—Bo Jingmo was being manipulated by this woman.

She stepped forward. "Yu Li, I don't know what you've told Bo Jingmo, but he's my classmate and friend. We used to team up together before you showed up. You hid your player identity while getting close to him—what exactly are you plotting?"

Yu Li's faint smile vanished instantly, her already foul mood darkening further.

She stared coldly at Jiang Xi, her tone unreadable.

"Are you implying you know Bo Jingmo better than I do?"

Jiang Xi recoiled slightly under that gaze, unconsciously taking a step back. "I...I just don't want to see him being used. If you have ulterior motives, you should stop now. Otherwise I won't just stand by."

"Oh? And what exactly are you to him?" Yu Li asked expressionlessly. "Jiang Xi, do you really think these words of yours could drive a wedge between Bo Jingmo and me?"

She stepped closer, her lips curling with undisguised scorn. "If you truly want to interfere, shouldn't you be confronting Bo Jingmo directly? Why come to me?"

Then suddenly, as if struck by realization, she covered her mouth dramatically. "Oh, I get it now."

Her eyes curved maliciously as she enunciated each word clearly: "Bo Jingmo deleted you, didn't he? You can't even see him anymore, can't even send messages. How pathetic—trying to defend his honor when he doesn't even care about you. Actually went and deleted you!"

Each mocking phrase struck like a physical blow. Jiang Xi's face flushed then paled, her head bowing involuntarily under the humiliation.

"You—!"

People were coming and going near the dormitory, and Bo Jingmo's name was practically legendary on campus. Soon, bystanders began stopping to watch, their whispers carrying clearly:

"Isn't that Jiang Xi who used to follow Bo Jingmo everywhere? Weren't there rumors they were dating?"

"Please, did you ever see Bo Jingmo acknowledge her? She was always the clingy one. Those forum posts only existed because he didn't bother denying them."

"Who's that girl facing Jiang Xi? Bo Jingmo used to wait for her after class every day, even carried her bags. They never confirmed anything but it was obvious."

Yu Li repeated slowly: "Warn me?"

She leaned in, chuckling darkly. "Jiang Xi, who do you think you are?"

"Did getting some useless mystery gift make you think you could look down on me?"

"Or did my patience give you the mistaken impression I'm easy to push around?"

To dare tell her—in that proprietorial tone—to stay away from Bo Jingmo.

A dangerous red glint flashed through Yu Li's pupils as her smile widened with undisguised malice.

"If I wanted, I could make sure you never leave a dungeon alive again."

Jiang Xi turned deathly pale, as if plunged into icy water.

That look in Yu Li's eyes...it reminded her of when Bo Jingmo had lost control before...

Her mouth opened soundlessly, no words coming out.

Seeing this, Yu Li lost interest. With a derisive snort, she stepped back. "If there's nothing else, I'm leaving."

"Then tell them to come find me themselves," Yu Li replied without turning.

"She said...I should go invite her personally?"

Tian Jianmu shrugged. "I told you—that woman's not someone you can summon. Thinking she'd come when called..."
