Leo and the family returned to Angkor City. Their lives resumed the normal flow, until two days later, when Stellar called Leo in the office. The young man picked up the call and asked, "What is it Stellar?"

Stellar Primal sighed and replied, "The family disowned Carole, and although the younger generation wanted to kill him, they were stopped by the foreign intervention. Carole's assets were taken away and distributed among the other five. Another thing that you should know is Carole is likely to spend his entire life in a cozy cell."

Leo furrowed his brow and said, "That is all?"

Stellar replied, "I am afraid, yes. You don't know, but if Carole seemed to have left behind a bomb that would explode and drown the entire family if he were to die. He has a microchip in the back of his head, if the chip does not sense his pulse for more than five minutes, it would send out a message and that would the end of Primal Family."

Leo thought for a bit and said, "Well, all the more reason for me to have him killed."

Stellar was surprised and said, "Dude, you want me to inherit a begging bowl?"

Leo leaned back in his chair and asked, "So, what do you want me to do? Your enmity with him is probably not that deep but for me, it is as deep as the love for my daughter."

Stellar sighed and said, "Well, that is what I want to tell you."

Leo frowned and asked, "What do you want to tell me?"

His voice was cold and detached, Carole was his obsession, Leo really just wanted to be done with all the enmity and then to move on with his life. However, he wouldn't allow anyone to make it seem like Carole could be saved.

Stellar sighed and said, "I have been looking into the matter of your family. I have a better detailed picture but there are still some doubts that needs to be cleared. So, can you just give me some time to sort them?"

Leo raised his brow and asked, "What do you mean by some doubts?"

Stellar replied calmly, "Give me twenty four hours, and then you will have your answers."

Leo thought for a bit and then he replied, "Fine, after twenty four hours, I will handle things my way."

The call was disconnected, and after a few minutes, suddenly, June calls him from her desk and says, "Sir, there is a call from Capital High Penitentiary Prison. Someone named Carole Primal wants to talk to you. He said he wishes to tell you something."

Leo was surprised, and then his surprised turned into unfiltered rage and he said, "Put him through."

June did what she was told, the small confirmation caused her to shiver, and when the call was connected, Carole said, "Hello!?"

He was unsure whether the call was passed on to Leo or not. He said Hello twice, before he said, "I didn't expect that you would be such a coward, Leo Cardinal."

Leo replied calmly, "Had it not been for the fact that you have been imprisoned, I would have torn you apart with my bare hands."

Carole chuckled and said, "This was why you lost the battle in the past, and if you stay the same even now, then believe me you won't even know what hit you. I know a secret that can change the trajectory of your life from this moment on."

Leo chuckled, he was so angry that in his eyes, the blood vessels were obvious, and he asked, "What do you want? Say it."

Carole clicked his tongue in a rhythm and said, "No, I will tell you, but in person and in return of something very special for me."

Leo replied, "You will rot in that hell hole and that is all."

Carole chuckled and said, "By the dusk tomorrow, I will die, and if you really don't care about the secret of your parents death, then forget it. After me, you will not find a single soul to tell you this."

Leo fell silent and he clenched his fists so hard that his bones emitted crackling sounds. He took a deep breath and asked, "What do you want?"

Carole chuckled and replied, "I want you to find Spring, and have her visit me in the prison. While I am safe, looking at the twisted faces of these men basically suffocates me."

Leo replied, "Fine. What time do you want to meet?"

Carole replied, "First thing in the morning, Cardinal. See you."

Leo waited till the phone emitted the dial tone before he exerted some pressure and crushed the receiver in his hand. The young man stood up from the chair, he walked out, and looking at June he said, "June, can you find someone to replace the intercoms device in my office?"

June nodded and she got to work real quickly, while Leo entered Snow's office. The lady looked at him and asked, "What is causing you to be so enraged?"

Leo said, "Carole called from prison, he wants to meet and tell me something. Before him it was Stellar, she asked me to hold back and wait for twenty four hours. I am not sure where she is trying to buy time so that she can cement that at least the channel will stay with her, or something else."

Snow nodded and asked, "Can I ask you a question?"

Leo nodded and the lady asked, "What happened to the vow that you would kill Carole with your own hands?"

This question stunned Leo, he took a few deep breaths and replied, "The rage in my mind was so potent that I forgot about this vow, Snow. However, now that you have reminded me, I will handle it with care. I will make sure that Carole dies screaming."

Snow smiled and said, "I want to be present when that happens."

Leo nodded and said, "Snow, I am going to meet that bastard before I plan the next move. I want to know what does he have for me."

Snow nodded, and replied, "I will pick Lily from school, don't worry."

The young man walked over to her, kissed her forehead and then he left the office. He met Jock on the door and said, "Get me a team of elites, we are moving to the Prestige City for an operation."

Jock was immediately alerted and then he nodded while his hands fished out the mobile phone and then he sent a text to a few people. Leo headed to the airport directly and it took him half an hour. His plane was going through inspections and he waited in the VIP lounge.

Jock sat next to him and asked, "Sir, what is so urgent? The men have assembled and they will meet us directly in the capital."

Leo nodded and looked around before he wrote down a few things on the notepad of his phone and showed it to Jock. The latter opened his eyes wide, and asked, "Are you serious?"

Leo asked back in a retort, "Do you think I would be joking about this?"

Jock gulped a mouthful and said, "Sir, it would take a lot of preparation on our side. We cannot just wing it."

Leo nodded and after a few minutes, he replied, "I understand. Don't worry, it is not going to happen as soon as we land in the capital, but twenty four hours later. You and the boys will have enough time to plan things. Give them the instruction, to scout the whole city before we get their, the flight will last six hours."

Jock nodded and said, "I think we will need sophisticated gear as well. I will arrange for it."

Leo hummed and closed his eyes. The only thing in his mind was the thought of what could it be that Carole wanted to tell him. No matter how Leo brooded over it, he couldn't reach a logical conclusion. Suddenly, he opened his eyes and mumbled, "I am getting caught in his flow. Well, Carole, you sure are a tough enemy."

He was not going to say that Carole was a fool, or something. That crazy man was brilliant in ways that none of the opponents could imagine. He had the knack for reeling the people in his flow and line. This was what he did with Leo in the past and he almost successfully wanted to do the same thing again.

The flight took off, Leo spent time in the virtual realm, and then after six hours, it landed on the Prestige Airport, where Leo and Jock got off, and were greeted by a young man, who was supposed to be the ground crew leader.

The young man said, "Honor to meet you Sir, I am called Coyote."

Leo shook his hand and said, "The honor is mine. Coyote, did you scout the city?"

Coyote nodded and asked, "Sir, you sure you want to do this? If you are caught or recognized, the entire family will be imprisoned and then put to the guillotine."

Leo nodded subtly and said, "Let's talk on the go."
