Leo won the race and Miss Verse was about to paste a star sticker on his chest, when Lily narrowed her gaze, and the young man said, "Miss Verse, would it be alright for Lily to do the honors?"

Miss Verse nodded with a smile and beckoned Lily to come over and the little girl smiled till her eyes turned into crescents. The young man sighed, he knew why his daughter was narrowing her eyes. It was a trait that she shared with her mother. Back in the college when they were dating, if some other girl dared to get close to Leo, Snow would narrow her eyes as if she was a hunter looking at a prey with a scope.

The young man took a deep breath and smiled when Lily put the star on his chest. Lily gave him a thumbs up and said, "Good job, I am proud of you."

Leo chuckled and said, "Thank you, baby."

The rest of the students clapped under the guidance of their parents and the fathers shook hands with each other to display the spirit of sportsmanship. The competition continued and Leo stood on top with his cooking skills and then his strength. However, he made sure that the people are not defeated too bad.

Leo smiled and after the competition came to an end, they were ready to walk out of the class when Miss Verse came up to him and asked, "Sir, may I have a moment of your time?"

The rest of the people also stopped and Leo nodded, they were all paying attention to what this pretty young teacher was about to say to this handsome father. Men were just that simple. Miss Verse said, "Sir, we were arranging a visit to the pottery studio located in the Kreme Square. Although we have reserved the place, but the instructor that had initially agreed to come over to teach the kids have fallen sick. So, Lily told me that you have a decent knowledge about pottery and ceramics, which got me wondering if you would be able to fill in for the instructor?"

Leo was surprised and then he sensed a tightening grip around his fingers and a pair of sparkling eyes which were hypnotising him from the side, and he nodded as he said, "Fine, I will teach, please text me the time and the date along with the venue location."

Miss Verse bowed her head and thanked Leo many times, before they all moved out. Outside the school, Leo saw two kids come up to Lily along with their parents. The two men that lost to Leo in the competition. One of them shrugged at Leo and said, "Mister Cardinal, thank you."

Leo raised his brow and the other man said, "Don't pretend, we know you gave us a lot of face today. It was clear from the first round that you had a lot to give but you held back."

The young man shook his head and replied, "It's fine, this was just to teach the kids about how to be graceful and uphold the spirit of a competition."

Lyla's father shook his head and said, "Mister Cardinal, let me cut to the chase, I don't like to be wishy-washy about things. You are also the same kinda guy. Let's be friends, you gave me face and I owe you one. If you ever need any catering, you call me, I will give you a discount and the best catering in the city."

Leo chuckled and shook hands with the man, he knew that Jake Belfast owned the best restaurant chain in the city. Harper's father on the side said, "Yeah, if you and your boys ever want a gym, you can swing by to any of my establishments and give them this card, I will give you the best training environment and also, you can reach out to me if you want a home gym set up."

Leo nodded and said, "Thank you, I will lean on you guys, and if you want any technology related help, you come to me. I will have it all sorted."

They exchanged contact numbers, while Lily flexed her father to her friends. The young man shook his head at this vain little goblin but she couldn't help herself. After a conversation, the people drove out and headed back home.

On the way home, Ellyse called Leo, and said, "Sir, The Counsel is coming at you, he is waiting at your front door. The guards told him that you weren't there, and the man insisted on waiting for your arrival."

Leo nodded and looked at Lily for a moment before he asked, "Can I handle him the hard way?"

Ellyse nodded and said, "That would be in line with how you should act given that he is a Primal family member."

Leo agreed, and then they turned the car to the side, and he found an entourage parked right in the front of his mansion. He didn't stop, but he told Kyle, "If any of them tries to stop you, discharge a shell right in their chest."

Kyle and Zeenat quickly reached out inside their jackets and took out their weapons, and turned off the weapon safety. There were a few people who wanted to come close as the vehicle slowed down, but when they saw the situation, they looked at the man standing beside the car, and the latter waved his hand to make them stand down.

Leo observed the man as the cars entered the compound and he said, "Take Lily inside the house, and you be her walls."

Kyle and Zeenat nodded as they got out of the car, and Lily asked, "Baba, what is this?"

Leo smiled and patted her head and said, "Nothing, some bad guy has shown up. Baba has to go deal with him. However, Baba also ought to make sure that you stay safe. Now, go with Uncle Kyle and Sister Zee."

Lily was sensible and nodded as she hopped out of the car and then she turned around and said, "Baba, be careful. I will wait for you on the table."

Leo smiled and nodded as he said, "This won't take long."

He also got out of the car and his face turned cold. He looked at the four guards standing on the sides of the driveway and he said, "Guys, lock and load, but don't shoot anyone unless I tell you to, is that clear?"

The men nodded and replied by taking out their weapons and turning off the safety. Leo then took a deep breath to calm his mind and walked towards the gate. At this moment, his brain had so many thoughts rushing around that it caused a chaos and he didn't bother to control them, however, this chaos gave him the calm and the moment where his mind was on auto-pilot.

The sound of the gravel under his feet soothed him even further and the young man walked over to gate. He looked at the man guarding the door and nodded. The latter opened the gate and Leo stepped out. He looked to the right and found that six men were still standing their in suits.

They all seemed to be carrying weapons concealed inside their jackets. Leo walked up to them calmly and as a few men tried to stop him. The young man gave them such a stink eye that it caused them to freeze. The guards beside Leo pushed the men aside, and Leo came to stand face to face with the middle-aged man.

He asked, "Who are you and what do you want? Showing up at my house with armed men is not good behavior."

The middle-aged man smiled and said, "Mister Cardinal, I am Herman Primal, the counsel of the Primal family, and I was sent here by the patriarch of the family, Bishop Primal. I wanted to ask you a few questions about your strife with Carole Primal. How about we talk inside?"

Leo smiled and then he grabbed the man from his neck and clenched his fist really hard. Before the Counsel's guards could even react, Leo's team took out weapons and aimed at the enemy cleanly. As if they have practiced this action repeatedly.

Leo looked at Herman whose face was turning blue and then he let the man go. Herman fell to the ground as he struggled to catch his breath. Leo looked at him for a second before he crouched down and said, "I will only let a Primal step inside my house, when I stop breathing. You bastards are all the same. Believe me, Mister Herman, had it not been for the fact that I have a strong sense of responsibility towards my family, I would have killed you guys with my bare hands. As for that dead bastard, I didn't do it. Had I done it, the entire city would have known as I'd tie that scum naked to the pole on the Kreme Square, and then flayed him alive."

His hatred was so intense that his eyes were turning red with rage. Herman was shocked, but then Leo stood up and said, "If you want to talk, come to my office. I find you and your men sniffing around my house, and family members, I will give them a go to put lead in your heads even if I risk jail time or death sentence. Don't push me against the wall, you won't be able to handle it."

Leo went inside the mansion, and only then did Herman stood up and he was still rubbing his neck, as his closest guard came up and asked, "Sir, what should we do? This man is outright barbaric."

Herman nodded and said, "He is just trying to scare us and intimidate us. if he had the power, he would have waited and killed us without making a scene. He is a cornered animal and just trying to act brave because he is weak. Had he really killed Carole than he wouldn't have such blatant killing intention. He cannot control himself, and that's why, he is not our killer. However, note this down, I want to pay him back when I am done with that Bitch Kastya."

Leo didn't know that he had succeeded in guiding another torpedo in a different direction. However, when these two torpedoes collide it would be a war in the city.
