The family came back from the hospital and helped Zeenat settle in the mansion. They had decided to keep her close so that she could be looked after properly. Clara Rouge had been growing really well in her role of a steward.

Lily spent some time with Zeenat and then came out to eat the lunch. Leo added food to her plate when she finished and he gave her a balanced diet. Lily used to be a fussy eater, but now, after the incident at the school she had become much more obedient and learned to swallow the most bland tasting things.

Leo did spoil her with a dessert and some tangy candy that she liked, and he cooked her meals personally because his skills as a cook helped him maintain the taste that his daughter liked. The family was eating when Fragrance came over and she sat down on the table as she said, "Big Brother, you have to do something about that Jenkin Hawk, I am tired. Believe me, if he hits on me one more time I will sue his ass and drag him to hell."

The people were surprised, this was the first time they have seen Fragrance exploding like this. Leo asked, "What is the issue? Is he still bothering you?"

Fragrance glared at him and said, "That punk is approaching me again and again, sometimes in the name of cases, and sometimes he just comes to chat with others but keep looking at me every few minutes. I am not even his team manager, then why does he wish to seek guidance from me? As if I already don't have enough work on my plate."

Leo sighed and looked at Snow as he asked, "That man is too sly and he never breaks any rule, so I cannot even say that it is malicious or use it as a reason to dismiss him."

Lily looked at the two people talking, then she sneakily placed a piece of capsicum from her plate to Leo's. However, before she could cheer triumphantly, the young man looked at her and asked, "What is going on?"

Lily smiled then she took the piece back from his plate and said, "This is called transfer. If something is not bad and you cannot swallow it, then you can transfer it to someone who can."

Fragrance looked at the little girl who was eating capsicum with a scrunched face, and said, "Lily, come give aunty all your capsicum, I will eat them."

Leo frowned but Fragrance looked at him and said, "You transfer that man or I will spoil my niece into a rowdy."

Leo sensed a twitch developing on the corner of his lips while Snow and Anastasia smiled. Lily got down from her chair and came to Fragrance as she held the young lady's hand and said, "Aunty, I never knew that you are my guardian angel. Thank you for rescuing my innocent childhood from the bitter memories of this green fodder."

The adults all couldn't help but chuckle at her dramatic expression. After the meal, the family was sitting together in the living room, and at this moment, Symphony came over. She sat down with the people, because Leo and Snow didn't allow her to seclude herself. However, there was some tension evident on her brows.

Leo looked at her and asked, "Symphony, is everything alright?"

Symphony sat up straight and nodded, but Lily observed her and said, "Big Sister Symphony is sitting with her toes overlapped, she is nervous."

Snow raised her brow and asked, "What logic did you apply before coming to this conclusion?"

Lily replied, "I am obserbent, and I have seen Big Sister Symphony doing this many times when playing a difficult piano song."

Leo patted her head and said, "It's observant."

Lily stuck out her tongue and then Leo turned his attention on Symphony once again as he asked, "Child, you can tell us. After all, you are a part of the family as well."

Symphony sighed and replied, "A girl in the class has been making things difficult for me. Her boyfriend is trying to get close to me, but I shun him away. Even still that girl is accusing me of stealing her boyfriend."

She was deeply troubled with this, and embarrassed to discuss such a thing with the adults. Snow smiled and replied, "Well, I know a certain someone who had done the same thing back in college."

The people turned to look at Snow, who replied, "Well, don't look at me like that, Leo was a hot commodity."

Snow took a deep breath and replied, "Okay, so Symphony I have a solution to your problem."

Leo stood up suddenly and said, "You girls play house, I am gonna go and check some work related things in the study."

Snow shook her head and the women came together to talk about stuff. After two minutes, Leo came back and picked up a little body as he said, "She doesn't need to learn all this."

Lily was dazed and then she clamored, "No, Baba, you baddie, leave me. It is so good to listen to such things. Baba, please, how will I learn to capture my prince charming?"

The people heard Leo's voice, "Beat him into submission. Now come we need to play chess. Let me check your progress."

The women chuckled as they heard these things.

Leo and Lily played a game of chess, and after a few minutes, the young man looked at the move she made and replied, "Lily, do you know what you did wrong?"

The little girl took a deep breath and observed the board carefully before she replied, "I think I was too eager to force you in a corner that you got an opening and exploited the chinks I left."

She pointed in certain positions where Leo had broken her defence from. Leo nodded and said, "So, have you understood what you need to focus on?"

Lily nodded, and after a few minutes, she asked, "Baba, can you tell me who is the mastermind behind the attack on me?"

Leo raised his brow and instead of telling her off he asked, "Why do you ask?"

His voice was soft and his tone was calm. The little girl said, "Baba, I just feel very angry whenever I think about that incident. Sister Zee, she almost died trying to save me."

The young man nodded, he understood that Lily was still holding herself responsible for the incident, and he calmly beckoned her to come over. Lily went over and sat in his lap, as she leaned her head on his chest. Leo said, "It is normal for you to feel so angry. However, if you feel that Zeenat's injury was because of your mistake, then no, it has nothing to do with you.

As for the person who orchestrated this attack, they have been handled. Even if I tell you who that person was, what would you do? Or what could you do? Tell me, can you do anything?"

Lily shook her head and Leo continued, "Since you cannot control this, what is the point of worrying so much about it? At this age, you should focus on becoming smarter, and disciplined while enjoying all the things that the world has to show you. As for the rest, Baba will handle it."

Lily nodded and then she buried her face in his chest, after a few moments she raised her head and said, "Baba, you need a new perfume. This one smells fishy."

Leo was stunned how quickly the conversation has changed the tangent but he smiled and said, "Okay, we will go shopping and we will buy a lot of stuff."

Lily cheered, and said, "Can we eat ice cream?"

Leo thought about it and said, "If you keep it a secret, yes."

Lily nodded like a chick pecking at grains and then he replied, "Come on, let's go."

The two of them dressed up in casual dress and then they came downstairs. The meeting on how to repel bugs was still going on, and Snow raised her brow as she asked, "Where are the two of you going?"

Leo fastened the zipper on his jacket and said, "We are going to shop a few things."

Lily nodded and said, "I want a new scarf, the winter is too cold."

Snow narrowed her gaze to scrutinize the to of them for a few minute before she said, "Get me Ice cream."

Lily shook her head and replied, "I had candy yesterday, no ice cream today. Baba says I will get old if I eat too much candy."

With that said, the little goblin turned to hold Leo's hand and said, "Come Baba, we are getting late. Treviny will close and the doll I want will be sold out if we are late."

The two of them scurried away, and Snow smiled as she shook her head, and Fragrance asked, "What is up with these two?"

Snow replied, "What else, sneaking out to be spoiled and spoil."

The women chuckled at it and continued with their own things.
