CHAPTER 303: HOSTILITY.

Leo and Lily got ready, before they left the hotel with the entourage. Lily sat in the car and she looked at Zeenat before asking, "Sister Zee, have you ever come to the Stag Nation?"

Zeenat nodded and replied calmly, "I have come here many times in the past."

Lily got curious and asked, "Oh, what did you do here?"

Zeenat replied, "The office of the company I work for is located here as well."

Lily clapped her hand and replied, "Then shall we go and see your office?"

Zeenat looked at Leo and the young man replied, "Sure, we will go wherever you want to go."

Lily reached out and pecked his cheek before she said, "Baba, I love you."

Leo smiled and chuckled as he replied, "I love you more."

Then he instructed the driver, to take them to the Pinnacle Security Office. Leo looked at the scenery calmly before Zeenat said, "Someone is tailing us."

Leo smiled and replied, "These people, they really have no patience."

Lily replied, "Baba, we need to change this vehicle."

Leo raised his brow and asked, "Why so?"

The little girl replied, "The purpose of a motorcade is to be safe. Here we are, sitting in one of the most luxurious vehicle on the planet and it is standing out from the rest of the vehicles."

The young man chuckled and replied, "Good, we will change the vehicle after we have found who is following us."

Lily nodded and then began to look through her tab. After a few minutes later, the vehicles entered the compound of the Pinnacle Security. The place was crawling with guards. Leo and the rest got out of the vehicle, and the guards all rushed to create a safe parameter outside the gates, before Zeenat and Kyle led Leo and Lily inside.

Lily was curious and she looked around with great enthusiasm. She held Leo’s hand and said, "Baba, that big sister is so pretty."

Leo smiled and replied, "You will grow up to be prettier."

Lily giggled as they explored the place. They went to the gym room, and the martial art court, and a small firing range. Lily was surprised to see all these places. And then she found an interesting equipment which was being used by a person at the moment. She asked, "Uncle Kyle, what is that big brother doing?"

Kyle smiled and replied, "Young Miss, he us practicing the Wind Fist Martial Art style. Do you like it?"

Lily nodded as she commented, "It is fast and precise. Also, this wooden stake is unique too."

Kyle smiled and said, "Shall I take a note down and have one placed back at the mansion."

The little girl didn’t reply immediately, she was thinking something, Leo had already caught the sound of what she was talking about, but Ellyse’s second in command was talking to him and so he didn’t say anything. He wanted Lily to make her own decisions. After a few minutes, Lily shook her head and replied, "I cannot use this, Ma will never agree. Look at that big brother, his knuckles look so rough, as a lady I have to look after my image as well. What if the people point at my parents and say bad things."

The people smiled, Lily had her own way of thinking about things. The tour kept going on, and after a few minutes, Kyle approached him. He asked, "Sir, we have the information."

Leo turned to look at him and Kyle replied, "Harry Shrine has sent a convoy to stalk us."

Leo frowned and then he replied, "Arrange for the motorcade to leave and circle around the city and go back to the hotel. Then arrange for a car to take us around the city separately."

Kyle nodded and left to make arrangements, Lily approached Leo and asked, "Baba, what do the people in this company do? Why are they training like soldiers?"

Leo was about to reply when Markus appeared and answered, "Young Miss, we provide security to the people who pay us. All the people that you see in this company are former soldiers who fought enemy to protect the countries."

Lily was curious and Markus took her along for a personal tour. He gathered a group of people and they demonstrated martial skills. Lily was a child who was curious about everything, and after following Leo for practice every morning, she was very keen on catching the basic movement and intent of battles. She cheered for the fighters, before one of the older men smiled and asked, "Young Miss, do you also practice martial arts?"

These battle hardened men and women all loved Lily as her smile brought them warmth. Hearing the question, Lily smiled and replied with her chin slightly raised, "Yes, I do. Baba trains with me every morning."

The people chuckled and cheered for her, while Leo watched her having fun. Then the elder ladies began to ask Lily if she would like to train with them. The little girl to their surprise agreed to have a small mimicking session.

Then every was left in awe when they saw Lily’s smile vanish and her eyes turn sharp as she assumed the stance. She was copying the way Leo looked when he would practice shadow boxing, but her intensity was just too cute.

However, when they witnessed her perform jabs and straights they were shocked. Leo watched her performance and nodded slowly. After the initial movement, Lily mixed the foot work in her routine. This shocked the people, and they looked at their young miss with respect.

After three minutes, Lily stopped and took in a few deep breath, although the duration of the performance was three minutes, the intensity was equal to that of a real fight with them. The people woke up from the stupor when they all saw Markus taking the lead in applauding the performance.

The people praised her but Lily sighed and shook her head, before she replied, "You all are praising me in waste. It is all thanks to my Baba’s training."

That said, she walked up to him and Leo picked her up in his arms, before carefully taking out a handkerchief and wiping the faint sweat on her forehead and then someone from the crowd said, "Boss, if you and President were to spar, who would win?"

Markus replied with a serious expression, "That would be President. I have no clout over him."

The people were surprised, earlier they used to think that The higher ups respected Leo only because of the position he held, but now only did they realize that Markus was being honest. Leo looked at everyone and said, "You all, don’t try to get me to fight with him. He has to mind the business here now that Ellyse has gone over to Clover Nation."

The people chuckled, and then Leo said, "Well, you all have been working hard, I am sure that Ellyse is running a tight ship so I will ask her to give you all some bonus or vacation this time."

The crowd erupted in cheers, "Long Live President!"

After a few minutes, the people escorted Leo and Lily to the back door, where he got into a high class SUV and took Lily to see the few sight seeing places.

In the room of an elegant mansion, a young man was looking at a butler dressed in a penguin suit and his eyes were brimming with cold hate. The young man asked, "Has it been confirmed?"

The butler nodded and bowed, "Yes, Young Master, it has been confirmed."

The young man frowned and he commented, "It seems to me that he is not a normal opponent. I wonder if I should mobilize the hit squad against him."

The butler replied, "Young Master, such an action will alert everyone, and that would cause much more complications."

This young man was Harry Shrine and when he heard the things his butler said, he frowned. The young man sighed and replied, "Cram, arrange a meeting with this guy. I want to see what is so special about him that made Snow melt in his arms."

The butler nodded and replied, "I will arrange that as soon as possible, Young Master."

Harry nodded and asked, "Do we have the invitation for the charity gala organized by the Grimm Family tomorrow night?"

Cram nodded and said, "We received it yesterday. Would you be going?"

Harry smirked and replied, "Indeed, it is bad to avoid funerals."

The butler nodded, suddenly he asked, "Young Master, may I ask you something?"

Harry Shrine raised his head in surprise and said, "Cram, you want to ask me something, after all these years?"

Cram revealed a smile on his face which caused him to look even more old, and he asked softly, "I am just curious, Sire."

Harry nodded and said, "Go on then."

Cram asked, "Sire, if you have this much hostility towards Leo Cardinal, why don’t target him directly? Even if we foil the Charity plans of the Grimm Household. They are still a noble family."

Harry shook his head and replied, "I want everyone who helped Snow and Leo to suffer. It is just that simple."
