Leo walked out of the building with a faint smile on his face, he got inside the car, and Kyle drove him back silently. Leo looked at the frowning face of his friend, and asked, "Are you worried about the bet?"

Kyle took a deep breath and said, "Sir, I am confident that the team you lead will definitely kill any of the fuckers that Matilda Luger can even dream to put together. What I am worried about is how you are going to convince Madam and Young Miss about this, and secondly, the gear.

Since you mentioned that her family holds stake in the weapon company, I looked this matter up, and the situation is not a favorable one. They have scout drones, and that is a very high advantage."

Leo smiled and replied, "I am well aware of that Kyle, but you see, tomorrow, Cardinal Group will be deploying two satellites. One for the government and another one for ourselves. Although we said it is a communication satellite, it is still something that can be used to observe the enemy. Did you really think I would jump in this mess without preparation?"

Kyle sighed and shook his head as he turned the car to the side, Leo didn't say anything and just covered his anxiety with a smile. He knew that he was going to take a lot of heat from his wife, but this had to be done. Leo called Fragrance from the car and said, "Frag, can you get home, I have something urgent for you."

Fragrance nodded and said, "Yes, I have just finished a meeting and will come over. We can discuss this on lunch."

Leo nodded and disconnected the call, and soon they reached home. He got down and made his way to the living room, where Snow was knitting something with a crochet. The young man took a deep breath and sat down beside her. He looked at her focused on the article in her hand and smiled.

Snow asked without raising her head, "What are you looking at?"

Leo replied softly, "I love it when you are so focused. Your eyes gleam and your lips quiver from time to time."

Snow raised her head to look at him and Leo grabbed her face gently and kissed her lips softly. He didn't act too passionately but just expressed his love in a gesture. Snow reciprocated his gesture, after all, she also loved him and when the kiss broke, she placed her hand on his chest and gently pushed him back as she asked, "What did you do?"

Leo was stunned and asked, "What do you mean what did I do?"

Snow narrowed her gaze and said, "Love, do you want to do it the hard way or the easy way?"

Leo smiled sheepishly, he asked, "Did Frag tell you something?"

Snow shook her head and Snow replied, "She only told Clara that she would be having lunch at him. Now you are acting all lovey dovey and saying that you like my focus. You hate it when I look at something else with you sitting beside me."

Leo was caught in a hard spot and replied, "Well, wait till Frag arrives, then I will tell you."

At this moment, Fragrance walked in and asked, "Bro, what do you need me for?"

Leo sighed an gestured her to sit down first. Then he looked at Snow and said, "Love, don't take too much stress after what I am about to say. However, I had to do it anyway. So, please trust me that I will handle it completely."

Snow realized that something big was about to happen and she insisted, "Tell me, now."

Leo took a deep breath and said, "I went to meet Matilda Luger. After the last attempt on us, I wanted to confront her. I told her that if she wanted to deal with me she should come straight for me."

Snow raised her brow and said, "Continue."

Leo nodded and continued, "Then she joked if it was possible for her to kill me in broad day light. She insisted on meddling with us all the time and for that she would go to any lengths. So, I suggested that we form a contract and hold a death game."

Snow sat up straight and Fragrance looked at him with an incredulous gaze as well. The former asked, "What did you just say? Death Game?"

Leo replied softly, "Umm, it is more like a ten people squad hunting for another team in the wilderness and the one who kills the leader would win."

Snow grit her teeth and Leo wanted to reach out when the lady said, "Don't touch me."

Her temper had flared up. Fragrance saw this and she quickly came to sit beside Snow and rubbed her back gently before she said, "Sister-in-law, please calm down, take a deep breath. It is not good for the baby."

Snow retorted, "This guy who is about to become a father is also not good."

Leo almost wanted to protest, but then he took a deep breath and held back. Snow went on to thrash him with all sorts of names and things to scold him. After ten minutes, when she calmed down, she asked, "How does that work?"

Then the young man went on to explain the rules they have set up and Snow asked, "Have you picked up a team?"

Leo nodded and said, "I have some in my mind, but before that, I need Frag to type in an agreement and have it sent to Matilda and get it signed."

Fragrance nodded and replied, "I will write it up for you."

Leo thanked her and Snow said, "I want you to leave the house right after the agreement is signed and not to come back until you have finished handling her."

The young man was stunned and Snow spoke up sharply, "Did you think this stupid stunt of yours would make me cradle you? Get out of my sight and until you have dealt with it, don't show me your face."

Leo sighed and replied, "Yes, I will go and stay in the office."

Snow snorted and said, "You will be allowed to pick up Lily and drop her at home. That's all."

Leo nodded and Clara came over before she said, "Master, Madam, the food is served."

Leo thanked her and Snow said, "You should better think on your strategy."

The young man kept nodding for her instructions and then he packed a bag before he headed out to pick up Lily. He knew that Snow did him a favor by allowing him to meet her, but he was not going to take this one easy. After the destination was confirmed, Leo wanted to make sure that he and his team was well prepared.

When he reached the school, he found Lily standing beside Miss Verse like the usual but her face wasn't blooming with a smile like usual. He approached them and crouched on the ground before he asked, "Lily, what happened?"

Lily hugged him and said, "A new student came to the class and he pulled on my braids. It hurt me so much. After recess Miss Verse took use to look after the rabbits in the garden, and that boy kicked Timmy. That poor thing was hurt so badly."

Leo frowned and turned to look at Miss Verse, who said, "Sir, his parents have come over, and they are sitting with the principal at the moment."

The young man patted Lily's back gently and he said, "Miss Verse, I am sure that you all would handle this better, but if something like this happens again, I will act."

Verse nodded and her expression turned serious. She knew that Leo would definitely not sit by if something happened to Lily. As they were about to leave, Lily said, "Baba look."

Leo turned to the direction she was pointing at and he saw a young child, similar to Lily in age, and he was being taken back by his parents. However, while the man looked extremely gentle, the lady was glaring at the child and the man.

As if sensing their gaze, the kid turned back and stuck out his tongue at Lily. The little girl was already upset and this triggered her. Leo frowned and looking at his daughter he said, "Hey, stop."

His call caused almost all the parents to stop in their tracks, including the culprit. Everyone knew Leo, and some people nodded to him. Leo walked ahead while greeting the people and came to stood before the trio. He looked at the kid and said, "I heard that you messed with my daughter. I am sure that the teachers have scolded you for that, but I advice you not to do such a thing anymore. Be a good child and learn what the teachers are teaching."

The child was intimidated by the aura Leo radiated. He was not sounding cold or anything but even then his persona was not someone anyone can handle. The lady looked at Leo and asked, "What is this about? How dare you talk to my son like this?"

Leo looked at the lady and said, "Be glad I am talking to him, with you, it wouldn't be that simple."

That said, he turned around and walked away without caring about the troublemaker.
