ALPHA’S REGRET: FALSE MATE, TRUE LUNA
TRUE 338
bChapter /bb338 /b
The next day, after finishing my work, I prepared to buy some seasonal clothes and shoes for Mary and myself.
Ferris didn’t go to work today and offered: “Should Ie with you?”
“You can’t see, it’s inconvenient. I’ve already asked Dane to drive, he’ll help me carry things.” I shook my head.
Dane had almost be my personal bodyguard, apanying me most of the time.
After Ferris’s memory recovered, he naturally remembered Dane’s appearance and knew he was quite handsome.
He was somewhat displeased but didn’t dare show it.
“Are you leaving now then?” he asked.
“Yes.” I looked at him puzzledly. “What’s wrongb?/bb” /b
Ferris hesitated for a moment: “I’ll have Simon send you my size measurementster.”
I was stunned–he meant for me to buy him clothes too.
Actually, even if he didn’t say it, I remembered his height and build.
Before we were married, I had secretly measured him and bought him a bunch of clothes.
But back then, he would either casually throw them away or simply burn them.
“I can’t see, could you help me pick out a couple outfits?” Ferris asked carefully, even adding, “If it’s too much trouble, forget it. I still have old ones.”
I was always soft–hearted. Seeing him now with amnesia, blindness, and reduced to such circumstances, I finally
nodded.
“Don’tin if I don’t choose well.”
The corners of Ferris’s mouth lifted slightly: “I’ll neverin.”
I didn’t believe that.
In the past, he had been quite disdainful.
Chapter b338 /b
After saying goodbye to Mary, I left with Dane.
In the bcar/b, I couldn’t help asking: “Dane, has Adrian contacted you recently?”
A few days ago when I called Adrian, he didn’t answer. I was somewhat worried.
He had quite a few enemies abroad, some even his own brothers.
“No.” Dane shook his head. “Do you need him for something?b” /b
“Nothing, I just haven’t been able to reach him for a long time and worried something happened to him.” I said
softly.
When Adrian was abroad, he was often injured, once even falling into shock.
Dane narrowed his eyes: “Should I investigate?”
“Yes.” Hearing him say this, I felt slightly more at ease.
I didn’t know why, but I had a vague premonition–something had happened to Adrian.
At the mall.
I got out to shop while Dane followed beside me.
Walking along, he suddenly stopped.
“Someone’s following us.”
I also stopped, my heart tighteningb: /b“Is it Ferris’s bodyguards?”
Not far away, there were indeed figures, but I didn’t like having a bunch of people following me. By normal logic, they shouldn’t appear hereb. /b
“No.” Dane said coldly, “They’re strangers. Let’s go inside and shop first.”
“Okay.” I nodded.
I always felt at ease with Dane.
Adrian had said that even twenty plus ordinary people wouldn’t be a match for Dane.
After all, he had crawled out from among the dead.

Inside the mall.
I picked out clothes for everyone at home. Mary’s and my clothes were easy to choose, but when it came to Ferris, I
hesitated.
Previously, Ferris wore very expensive clothes, all custom–made, exclusively in ck and white–particrly lifeless, not sunny at all.
Thinking of this, bI /bspecifically chose some inexpensive, bright–colored clothes for Ferris.
“Dane, why don’t you pick out a couple outfits too?”
Dane was standing at the entrance. Hearing me, he was first stunned, then immediately refused: “No need.”
I thought about it.
I remembered Dane had gone home before specifically to break off his engagement. Did he have a girlfriend now and felt it inappropriate to have his boss buy him clothes?
I quickly exined: “Don’t misunderstand. You choose, I’ll reimburse as your boss. bIf /byour girlfriend knows, she won’t be angry either.”
As a woman, I knew boundaries–you couldn’t buy clothes for men with girlfriends or wives.
A strange expression crossed Dane’s cold, rigid face: “I don’t have a girlfriend.”
