In that momentb, /bbthe /bbair /bbseemed /bbto /bbfreeze/bb. /b
A man in a dark gray windbreaker walked into the bvenue /bagainst the light, his bsteps /bposedb, /bhis aura stern and bcold/b, each step carrying unquestionable
bpower/bb. /b
His ice–blue beyes /bwere like a winter snowfieldb, /bcoldly sweeping over the crowd, instantly silencing everyone.
Adrian Thorne–Alpha of the ck Mountain bpack/b, representing absolute power that must not be provoked.
The ck Mountain pack’s reputation thundered throughout the wolfmunityb, /byet remained very mysteriousb. /bIt was said that every warrior of the ck Mountain pack underwent strict selectionb, /bpowerful and ruthless.
They didn’t participate in most pack disputes, yet possessed intimidating power that towered above other wolf packs.
bAt /bthis moment, Adrian was followed by several ck–d warriors, each with a bface /bfull of frostb, /bcoldly surveying their surroundings.
He didn’t pauseb, /bwalking directly toward me and standing in front of me.
Adrian’s gaze lingered on my face for a moment, his brows slightly furrowed, his voice low and cold: “Who gave you permission to touch her thingsb?/bb” /b
One sentence shocked the entire venue.
Ashley’s movements frozeb, /bher face instantly changing.
‘Alpha Adrian… you misunderstood, we just wanted to…”
‘Shut up.”
Adrian coldly interrupted her.
He turned toward Ferris, the corner of his lips curving into an almost temperatureless arc: “Did you instigate this?”
You are ck Mountain’s Alpha.” Ferris’s expression stiffened, “This matter has nothing to do with you.”
The two Alphas faced off sharply, tension thick in the air, as if a war would break out the next second.
‘She is my person.”
Adrian spoke word by word, his tone like a sharp silver de, resounding clearly, “If you touch a single finger of hers, I’ll make your entire wolf pack pay the
riceb./bb” /b
bHe /bstepped forward, his aura suddenly rising like a crushing blizzard.
The air seemed bto /bsolidify.
Ferris’s beyes /binstantly darkened, standing aside without speaking, but his fists had quietly clenched.
He turned to look at me, his tone restraining some of its sharpness, leaving only reassuring steadiness: “Aurora, leave here with me. No one has the right to subject you to this humiliation.”
I was stunned, my throat slightly hoarse.
1 hadn’t seen Adrian for many years. He had grown much taller and more handsome than before.
bHis /bbgaze /bremained as cold as ever, yet showed an unmistakable protection and tenderness toward me alone.
Just as we were about to leaveb, /bbhe /bpaused, turning back to nce at Ferris and Ashley still standing there, his tone indifferent:
“Next time anyone wants to touch herb, /bthey’d better know their limits. And whether they can hear the consequences.”
“Wait.”
Ferris stood in front of us, his aura suddenly rising, as calm andmanding as when I first met him.
His gaze fell directly on where Adrian held my hand, his voice hiding jealous fire.
“Aurora Windsor is a member of the Silver Moon Pack.”
He slowly spoke, his voice low and hoarse, “You just said she is your person… what do you mean?”
