Alpha's Lost Luna Returns With His Twins
Chapter 105-Your Family Abused Me
CHAPTER 105: 105-YOUR FAMILY ABUSED ME
Iris:
The last few minutes had been chaotic. Kash had proved to me that his anger knew no limits, but I could not truly blame him for it.
I had wronged him. From the way he barged in and from the way he reacted, I realized it had been more about feeling used than about catching me with Luca.
I guessed he would not have reacted so aggressively if he had come in and seen me with Luca without the stolen blue box involved.
At least that was what I figured out.
"There is no need to get upset over it. It was bound to happen," My mother remarked casually as she folded her arms across her chest.
Luca turned to look at both of us before he stepped out of the room. I felt strange about the whole situation.
"Of course you would say that," I told her, keeping my voice lowered.
"You are the reason he is going to introduce my innocent children to his evil family. Do you even understand what you are doing to me and my children?" I questioned her, remembering that, like Kash had said, he was not going to leave until the children woke up.
"So what, they are his children too, and it is not as if his family will abuse them in his presence. I am certain he will stay with his kids when he takes them there," my mother replied casually, not appearing bothered.
"But I must say, he has a bad temperament. Worse than what you told me. The way he accused you—" my mother remarked as she touched her ears and shook her head in disbelief.
"And can you blame him?" I responded.
As soon as I said it, my mother stopped, lowered her hands, and raised her eyebrow at me.
"You are the reason he was angry in the first place. You made me look like a fool, Mother," I hissed. "Everything he said was because of you. The care, the failure to take responsibility, and the carelessness toward the cure. It was all your doing because you were stealing the herbs. But now I seem like an irresponsible mother." I hissed again, but my mother only rolled her eyes and gestured with her hand to dismiss me.
"I do not have time for this. Just deal with it. Make sure he does not find out any of our plans, Iris. Because if I get a whiff of it, and I will, your son is done," she warned.
Her threat made me clench my fist and glare at her.
I knew she understood I might have crossed every line if I had not been afraid of her waking Wilson.
"Come on, Iris. Put this anger aside. You know what will happen if Wilson stays awake for more than a few hours. Colin will not be able to handle that much pain," my mother warned before she stepped out of the room.
I sat on the bed with my hands covering my face until I heard footsteps entering again.
"You went to his home to make out with him?" Luca asked.
As soon as he spoke, I lifted my head to look at him. Before I could respond, he added,
"Honestly speaking, I did not expect that from you." That was all he remarked before he stepped out of the room as well.
"Great. I am the bad person now," I commented in disbelief.
I rose from the bed and quickly took a shower.
Although I should not have, I knew I would need to ask Kash not to involve my kids in his anger.
I walked out wearing a peach top and white pants, my hair tied in a messy bun.
As soon as I stepped outside, I noticed Kash watching TV.
The man who had been guilty of cheating on me suddenly looked like the only reasonable person here, and I hated it.
I wandered to the couch to face him, then stood in front of the TV to block his view.
"Move," he ordered.
One hand rested on the couch with the remote in it, and the other lay against the cushions.
"You are taking your anger out on my children by taking them to your family," I managed to say now that neither Luca nor my mother was around.
"We are done talking. Move." He did not even glance at my face and kept his eyes on the TV.
"Kash, I do not want my children to meet your family." As soon as I said it, he grabbed a pillow and slammed it down hard.
Before getting up from the couch, my body halted for a moment at his aggression.
He was a large man, and anyone would be afraid of him.
"I could say the same about your family. But I am letting you do whatever you want, because at the end of the day, I am the reason our marriage ended," he admitted at last.
But I could tell he was not going to withdraw his demand.
"But I am not guilty when it comes to my children. I did not even know you were pregnant. I was never given the chance to take care of them, so I will not act guilty and let you be the sole parent. I get to make decisions for them as well. If they stay around your family, then they stay around mine too. Because I know my family is far better than yours," he pointed at me.
As aggression began to rise through me, I felt myself losing the ability to hold it back.
The words slipped out of my mouth before I could stop them.
"Right. My family never abused you."
As soon as I said it, he scowled.
"What are you insinuating?" he questioned.
"Your family used to abuse me." The moment the words left my mouth, he rolled his eyes and stepped back.
He placed one hand on his waist, and with the other, he started rubbing his temple.
"All the bruises you used to see on me were from your sister and your mother," I finished, waiting for his reaction.
