Alpha's Lost Luna Returns With His Twins
Chapter 29-Situation In My Pants.
CHAPTER 29: 29-SITUATION IN MY PANTS.
Kash:
Right before me stood Iris, looking annoyed. Even though I was trying my best to stay focused on the main goal I had come here for, I couldn’t help but have moments where my eyes dropped to her choice of clothing.
To say the least, she was dressed comfortably. But the problem was, I wasn’t comfortable watching her like that.
The shorts she wore were too short.
Not her fault—my damn eyes’ fault.
The white tank top revealed too much of her.
Again, not her fault, not the top’s fault—mine.
I cleared my throat and tried to look elsewhere several times until she turned around, clearly annoyed that her mother had invited me.
I could tell she didn’t even want to sit at the same table or share a meal with me for some reason. She turned and bent down to grab the basket from the floor to help the kids clean the room.
The way she bent made all the blood in my body rush to one particular part. I felt a sudden struggle in my underwear.
"I’ll go change first, then I’ll come," I said, changing my plan a little.
I had originally planned not to leave the guest house for even a minute, but an emergency had arrived.
I instantly held my hand in front of my body, trying to hide the embarrassment I’d caused myself.
"Yeah, sure," her mother replied, stepping aside.
She seemed like a deep woman, and her fake smile couldn’t fool me. Still, as long as she was willing to respect me, I was willing to respect her.
But I didn’t want to focus on her right now, especially with a big problem in my pants.
I rushed out of the guest house and went straight to my mansion. As I entered, I prayed no one else was there.
I didn’t want to be embarrassed, but of course, that wasn’t going to happen.
"Brother-in-law!" Marcus called out, holding a full plate of dumplings in his hand.
He’d been frustrating me for a while, but I let him stay and eat for free because of my sister. I couldn’t stand to see her cry, and I guess he knew that because he was taking full advantage of my leniency.
"Marcus," I said, trying to turn away.
"Ah, you seem to be in a bad mood," he remarked.
As soon as he said that, I turned to him, forcing a nervous smile.
"No, what makes you say that?" I asked.
"Your veins, your neck, your face, they’re all red. Is everything okay?" As he pointed it out, I touched my face.
I hadn’t realized that the rest of the blood had rushed to my head.
"Yeah, I’m fine. I just need to use the restroom," I said, using the only excuse I could come up with to escape.
I rushed to my bedroom and instantly shed my clothes, standing under the shower.
"Wow, just the sight of her and you were ready to lose it," Shak mocked, teasing me over the fact that her effect was still that strong on me.
Possibly even stronger now after the time we’d spent apart.
"I’d suggest you talk about her behavior first, then my response to her body or appearance," I muttered, grunting at my wolf.
My hands pressed against the wall, eyes lowered, waiting for my soldier to calm down.
"Right, you’re talking about how others flirt with her, but how is that her fault? She’s gorgeous. And look at yourself, just one glance at her, and you are ready to shoot in the open air."
Shak’s words made me growl. How dare he use that kind of language with me? I was an Alpha King. Nobody disrespected me.
"And Iris, how the hell did she think I’d react to her flirting with other men? She had a boyfriend. Why did she always forget that?" I hissed, trying to justify my anger.
"Well, her boyfriend isn’t your problem, is he?" Shak questioned.
I cleared my throat, finally calming down.
"Of course not. I don’t give a damn about him." I grunted.
I should’ve known my wolf was baiting me, because the second I said that, he started laughing.
"If that’s the case, then why the hell did you invite yourself to dinner?" he teased.
When I stayed silent, he added, "Isn’t that why you did it? Because you wanted to meet her boyfriend?"
He was right. I stood under the water, breathing heavily. I was so damn annoyed, yet I couldn’t stop myself from wanting to meet the man once.
I was curious, and wanted to see how he treated her. What made her cheat on me with him?
"Well, let’s say you’re right. I want to see that man, and I want to make sure I ruin their relationship like he ruined mine and hers. I don’t care what you call me for it, I’ll do what I please."
I finished speaking just as I finished showering. I quickly changed into a black t-shirt, and black track pants, then left my room.
Thankfully, no one, not even my sister, was around to stop me, so I headed straight back to the guest house.
When I walked in, my mood sank. Iris had changed into a blue shirt and loose white pants. At the same time, I wondered if she’d noticed me staring earlier.
That would’ve been embarrassing.
Then our eyes met. She was busy with the kids’ books when she saw me. I ran a hand through my wet hair, smirking. I bet she felt something when she looked at me.
I still had that effect on her.
She kept staring, and my hopes went up, thinking she’d feel the same kind of embarrassment I did.
But my hopes shattered when her nose wrinkled, and she rolled her eyes. Then, in a cold, tired tone, she muttered,
"Ugh, you again."
"Behave yourself, Iris. Do you want the kids to see you like this? To see you respond to their father like that?" That reaction came from deep inside me.
I felt awful when she did that. Did she really not feel anything at all?
How amazing did that guy have to be for her not to be even a little impressed by my appearance?
For a moment, I wanted to walk around the pack. I was sure the girls who usually complimented me and wanted to be with me still would. Then what the hell was wrong with Iris?
"The kids are in the room," she replied tiredly, still picking up the books.
I clenched my fists and walked inside, glancing around, stretching my neck as far forward as I could.
But there was no sign of her man. Where the hell was he?
"Are you looking for someone?" she asked, holding the books close to her chest, probably pressing them against her beautiful plump chest.
’What the hell? What’s wrong with you?’ my wolf grunted, and I quickly fixed my posture in embarrassment.
"Where’s your man? Is he not going to attend dinner with us?"
The moment I said that, I noticed her fingers loosen around the books just slightly. And I wondered, what was going on?
Wouldn’t she want to show him off in front of me? Then why hadn’t she?
