Chapter 1237: Part 1: Fight against Ben (Inner Hall)

I’m standing on the platform on one side. Ben is standing opposite me. The elder has asked whether both of us agree to the duel.

We both nodded our heads. But he is waiting for something. A look of understanding dawned on me.

He must be waiting to get permission from the higher ups. The Blazing Fire Faction Warriors saw this as well. But no one raised the question.

Issac and the female warrior were not raising any questions. The middle aged man, Ben standing opposite me, was silent as well.

At this time, the whole duel arena was noisy. The inner hall elders allowed the Outer Hall Warriors to fill the empty seat.

Issac and the female warrior smiled in response.

In the duel platform, the middle aged man Ben grinned before darting out from his spot.

Seeing that opponent us charging forward without using his element. I realised he wants to test my strength.

So I punched forward to block his attack. Both of our fists come in contact with each other in a flash.

A shock force bursts forth and spreads across the fighting platform.

The middle aged man Ben’s face changes. His right arm was hurt. The impact force is hurting him right now. He took two steps backward with disbelief.

At the same time, I stood rooted on the same spot and looked at him. But my heart was in turmoil.

If it were an ordinary warrior, the brute force would have broken his arm.

But I know that the opponent in front of me has Ancient Inheritance as well. So his physique is naturally strong.

Dean Jerome and the Purple Mark Guard were standing in the mid air. They are watching the situation below.

She thinks Zack Lockwood’s two Ancient Inheritances have made his physique strong. There is a possibility of him winning without using the inheritance power.

“Sure, it won’t be easy to defeat that kid. The rumours regarding his strength are not falsehood,” Bethany said in a serious tone.

Her voice reached other faction leaders. Including the ears of the Dew Water Faction Leader. Her eyes gleamed with a twinkle.

She had never expected the Water Variant Ancient Inheritance of Zack Lockwood would be this strong. It has made his Physique stronger than the Blazing Fire Faction.

The long lost fire lit in her heart again. She wanted Zack Lockwood to be in her faction. Then her water faction might become top amongst the elemental faction.

Even there is a chance of ranking among the top 3 in the whole Star University. Her hope was not without a chance. Zack Lockwood does have Water Variant Inheritance.

So Zack Lockwood should be in her faction. She knows that it’s impossible for the Dean to change his opinion. Unless someone orders him to do that.

She knows that there are powers behind the Star University who could do that. She can only wait for that time to come.

She will definitely rope Zack Lockwood into her Water Faction when it happens. After gaining some clarity, she calmed her heart.

Faction Leader Vince was silent. Unlike others he is not making any comments. He simply observes to collect details on Zack Lockwood’s Ancient Inheritance.
