CHAPTER 1247: PART 3: FIGHTING AGAINST BELLA (INNER HALL)
From MC’s Perspective:
Fighting Platform
Boom!
One deafening blast after another echoed across the duel arena. Blazing fireballs continued to strike the empty floor, missing their target.
Bella couldn’t use her right fist. She relied on her left arm for attacks, yet all her strikes missed Zack Lockwood. The duel had been ongoing for some time.
Almost everyone was convinced Bella would lose. She was consuming her ancient force at a rapid rate. If this continued, her force in the dantian would soon be depleted.
On the other hand, I evaded all her attacks. Under my perception, her movements seemed slow, allowing me to dodge effortlessly.
Unlike Ben, Bella lacked weapon techniques, which made her struggle. At one point, frustration overwhelmed her.
The pain in her right hand was intensifying, and without immediate treatment, it would worsen.
Issac, standing outside the platform, saw her struggle.
He called out, "If you can’t do it, give me a chance instead."
His words reached Bella’s ears, and her expression darkened. But she wasn’t ready to give up. She immediately rushed forward to attack.
Swoosh!
In a flash, she closed the distance, giving Zack no chance to evade. Her legs, covered in flames, boosted her speed.
At the same time, I tried to escape, but she appeared before me like a bolt of lightning. I noticed her legs engulfed in dark red flames.
My eyes flickered with understanding. A clash was unavoidable. She was acting out of desperation, and I felt I had no choice either.
I charged forward to meet her attack.
Bella’s eyes flashed with a cold glint. She enveloped her entire left arm in dark red flames, spreading terrifying heat across the arena.
Even the tiles scorched under the immense heat. In an instant, her left arm swung toward me. Seeing her desperate final attempt, I knew her attack would be powerful.
Boom!
I circulated the blood force from my bones, channeling it to my right arm in an instant. The next second, I felt immense strength coursing through it, as if I could tear anything apart.
Boom!
Our fists collided. The dark red flames covering her left arm leaped toward me.
The flames began burning my skin, but my blood force worked to extinguish them. Still, Bella had poured everything into this attack.
The explosion from our clash created a cloud of smoke, obscuring us as we stood rooted to the spot, each trying to overpower the other.
Gasp!
The audience exclaimed in shock and surprise. They hadn’t expected Bella to unleash an attack of this scale. Everyone could tell that if this failed, she would lose the duel.
On the big screen, it was clear both warriors were struggling to overpower each other. The warriors in the audience focused on the screen.
Most eyes were on Zack, shrouded in white smoke. They could tell he wasn’t using his inheritance force.
His right arm was covered in dark red flames, leading everyone to believe Bella’s flame force was overwhelming him.
But something else was happening.
On the fighting platform, I felt intense pain and heat. I could easily dispel the dark flames by increasing my blood force, but doing so might raise suspicion among the warriors.
They might question how my physique could withstand an Ancient Inheritance force. It would undoubtedly become a topic of discussion.
So, I opted for a surprise attack. Bella was giving her all, convinced her attack would succeed.
As time passed, she was using the last of her inheritance force in her dantian. But doubt crept in as seconds ticked by.
Zack remained rooted to the ground.

Above the Fighting Platform
Dean Jerome watched the duel. Seeing Bella expend the last of her inheritance force, he knew the duel was nearing its end.
Either she would exhaust her energy first, or Zack would be injured by her dark red flames. He could tell the flames were hurting Zack.
But he said nothing. He suspected Zack was planning something. He knew the boy had blood force. If Zack used a similar level of blood force, the dark red flames would be extinguished.
Yet, the flames still covered Zack’s right arm. Dean Jerome waited patiently.
The Purple Mark Guard standing behind him observed the duel as well. He could tell Zack was planning another trick but said nothing, waiting for the duel to conclude.

Viewing Block 2
The Main Elders watching the duel believed it was nearly over. They could see Bella was weaker than Ben.
Her flame force was strong, but she lacked proper attack techniques. If she had techniques like Ben’s, she might have injured Zack.
Her right arm was injured, forcing her to rely on her left arm. Everyone could see this was her final struggle. Once her inheritance force was depleted, she would lose.
Main Elder Austin sighed inwardly. He had worried Zack might be exposed today, but to his surprise, the duel was turning in Zack’s favor.
Zack had performed better than in his previous duel. He hadn’t sustained any injuries and relied on simple, brute punches.
Unbeknownst to them, Zack was using his blood force in the fight. To others, it appeared he wasn’t using his inheritance force at all, maintaining a defensive posture as he had in the previous duel.
Main Elder Ann smiled. She felt this duel lacked suspense and was relieved Zack would emerge victorious.
The other Main Elders of the Thunderflame Faction were also pleased. Earlier, the Main Elders of the Elemental Factions had been slandering them. Now, they had all fallen silent.
They could see that the Blazing Fire Faction’s warrior was about to lose.
The Main Elders of the Blazing Fire Faction were also silent, aware that Bella’s dark red flame, though capable of burning anything and spreading terrifying heat, was not enough.
Bella lacked the techniques needed to defeat Zack.
The Main Elders believed this would be a valuable lesson for Bella. No longer interested in watching the outcome, they began to leave the room.
Seeing this, the other Main Elders did not stop them. The other Elemental Factions noticed their departure and started to follow, leaving as well.
