CHAPTER 38: CHAPTER 38: ANGEL BEGGING: DON’T STOP!

After saying that, Natalia just hooked her finger, and Nancy Priest’s body was forced back to her seat, without any control.

This battle had completely surprised Natalia.

Both Logan and Evelynna had left her shocked.

She never expected that her younger sister, Evelynna, could still gather so many resources to open up a Purple Blood Cultivation Realm after failing in the Blood Cultivation Realm.

Even more surprisingly, she had no idea that Logan could develop multiple Rune Arrays in his familiar space in just three days.

But as she looked at Evelynna, there was a hint of doubt in Natalia’s eyes.

Logan had Kerparos, an old dog, guiding him—so doing this wasn’t too strange.

But Evelynna had only Nancy Priest behind her. She couldn’t possibly have the resources to open a Purple Blood Cultivation Realm.

Thinking this, Natalia glanced at Nancy Priest for a moment, and a sharp, almost unnoticeable light flashed in her eyes.

Above the school field, Logan quickly caught up with Diana.

In his Infernal Lord Form, he raised both hands and wings high, then slammed them hard into Diana’s chest.

Puf!

A jet of golden blood shot out, and Diana let out a painful scream before flying backward like a cannonball.

The powerful impact created a sonic boom, pushing away thousands of meters of clouds in the sky.

For a moment, the sky above the City Guard camp was completely clear, and the sun shone brightly.

At that moment, one of the spectators pointed up to the sky and shouted in surprise: "Look! Something is falling from the sky!"

Boom!

A cloud of dust almost ten meters high rose up, blocking everyone’s view.

The audience stared intently at the center of the dust, hearing only the sound of punches, one after another.

After about ten or fifteen seconds, the scene slowly became clear.

In the middle of the training field, there was a big hole, several meters deep.

At the bottom of the hole, Logan was sitting on top of Diana, fists clenched, hitting her body again and again.

Each punch was full of power from his "Infernal Lord Form," making Diana dizzy and groan in pain.

"Logan! You wait for me!" Diana’s voice was weak, but she still refused to give in, and her hatred for Logan only grew stronger.

Seeing this, Logan hit harder. He stood up, then kicked her hard.

"You don’t like it? I’ll beat you until you do!" Logan said, and then delivered another kick.

Seeing this, Evelynna and the elf Siel, who were not far away, both got worried.

"Logan! Stop!" Evelynna struggled to stand up and tried to stop him.

But before she could take a few steps, Kerparos appeared, his body still hot from the fight, blocking her path. "Go back!" he said.

Having just been hurt, Evelynna reluctantly stopped.

Meanwhile, Siel, despite the pain to her soul, managed to break free from Lilith’s grip for a moment. She quickly cast a healing spell.

"Reviving Wind!"

A soft wind blew toward Diana, and her body began to heal quickly.

Siel tried to cast another skill to escape, but Lilith didn’t give her a chance. She swung her blade wings and sent Siel flying.

At the same time, a mental power whip over a hundred meters long appeared in Lilith’s hand. She whipped it at Siel.

"Mind Lash!"

Smack! Another wave of mental pain!

Unlike physical pain, which could sometimes get better, mental pain started and never stopped. It just kept coming, stronger and stronger.

Siel, who had already been under Lilith’s control for a long time, was now hit by another whip.

The pain in her mind doubled, and she lost consciousness right away.

Seeing the situation, the crowd around them all swallowed hard.

It was clear now—Logan had won, without a doubt.

The gamblers who had already sold their bets looked at the students from Morning Light High School with envy.

These students had been gathered by Principal Mark, and they were mostly curious about Logan rather than worried about him.

But after seeing Logan fight the angel for them, they all started to respect him.

Some younger students even waved bottles of water like they were cheering for their idol, shouting for Logan.

"Logan! Look this way! I want to be your girlfriend!"

"Hey, don’t look at her, look at me! I can give you a kiss!"

"Ugh, what’s so special? I’m a guy, but I can kiss you too!"

"Exactly, don’t be so strict about gender. Real men understand men better. Everyone who tried my butt says it’s great."

Principal Mark sat in the crowd, listening to all this and rolled his eyes.

Suddenly, his phone rang. He saw the caller was Charles and immediately frowned.

He knew that Charles wanted him to stop Logan from killing Diana, and even more, from killing Evelynna.

But Principal Mark had no intention of helping. He just hung up the phone and turned it off.

At that moment, the referee, who had been standing by the stands, picked up his phone.

Mark saw the caller ID and immediately recognized it was Charles.

The two of them talked for a moment, and after the referee hung up, he suddenly stood up.

Mark was quick to react. He jumped out of the stands and landed next to the referee, grabbing his shoulder with one big hand. "The match isn’t over yet. Why are you rushing so much?"

The referee turned to look at Mark and frowned. "Sir, it’s my job to decide the winner. You can’t interfere."

Then he shook off Mark’s hand and turned to walk toward the center of the field.

Just then, Mark’s phone rang again. Seeing it was Charles again, he answered.

But before he could even speak, Charles’s voice came through the phone like a storm. "Mark! You bastard! I knew you were trying to delay the match! You’re so sneaky!"

Mark raised an eyebrow at Charles’s accusations and calmly replied, "Charles, are you still asleep? I’m helping the students with their homework right now. I don’t have time for your nonsense."

"You’re lying! I heard everything you said to the referee! He didn’t hang up!" Charles shouted even louder, and some of the people nearby could hear him too.

Mark was embarrassed now—he had been caught and even others had heard it.

Just then, a fashionable girl stepped forward and took the phone from Mark. Without hesitation, she started arguing with Charles. "You idiot! Do you know that angel almost killed the students? Logan is just fighting fair and doing his job. What’s wrong with that?"

"Besides, that angel and Holy Girl aren’t dead yet. Come back when they’re dead and then talk all you want!" She said, then hung up the phone. Her fierce expression instantly turned sweet and shy. "Hey, Principal Mark, did I do okay? Can I have Logan’s phone number? I need to ask him for something tonight."

Mark almost popped out his eyes at the girl’s sudden change from angry to sweet.

As for giving out the number? That was definitely out of the question.

It was a basic line for an educator.

Dusk High School building.

Charles was listening to the dialing tone on his phone, and his face turned red like a pig’s liver. "Mark, you bastard! You can’t argue with me, so you find someone else to speak for you!"

After saying that, Charles stood up and tried to leave the office.

But as soon as he took one step out the door, someone pushed him back into the room.

"Who are you? What do you want?" Charles suddenly felt suspicious when a stranger appeared out of nowhere. He immediately entered his familiar possession mode and called out his familiar, the Scorpion King.

The stranger saw Charles was about to fight, and he smiled coldly. "An master level user dares to challenge me? That’s interesting!"

Then he took a step forward, stood in front of the Scorpion King, and with one move, he pulled the familiar apart—smooth as pulling down a curtain.

Squeeeek!

With just one hit, the stranger tore the Scorpion King into two.

Charles stared in shock. He didn’t see any signs of familiar possession or any special skill being used. His eyes widened. "L-Legend level! What do you want?"

The stranger saw Charles was now afraid and just sat down on Charles’s desk. He lit a cigarette and said, "Nothing much. I was sent here to deliver a message."

Charles finally relaxed when he realized the stranger wasn’t here to kill him. "Go ahead, speak!"

"Mr. Charles, you’re a smart guy," the man said as he saw Charles was cooperating. His eyes slightly curled, and he smiled. "Some people don’t want you to get involved in the fight between Holy Girl and Logan. You get it?"

Then he crushed the cigarette on the desk, leaving a deep scratch.

After Charles nodded and agreed, the strong stranger was already gone, leaving only a dark scratch and a business card behind.

Charles trembled as he picked up the business card. But there was no name or contact info—just a big chalice filled with blood-red liquid.

The familiar symbol made his throat shake. "B-B-Black Church!" he whispered.

At the same time, in the City Guard camp.

Logan had already beaten Diana so badly she couldn’t fight anymore.

But what confused Logan was that Diana’s eyes, which had been full of hate, now looked... lost in a kind of pleasure.

Did I just make her feel good?

Is this angel a masochist?

As he thought this, Logan stopped hitting her.

The sudden stop made Diana uncomfortable.

She lay under Logan, her eyes slowly coming back into focus.

When she saw Logan again, her expression was complicated. Then she quietly said, "Don’t..."

Logan shook his aching wrist and laughed mockingly. "Why aren’t you shouting anymore? I like you better when you were stubborn and full of attitude."

As he said that, Logan stood up, ready to end the fight.

Diana saw this and quickly grabbed his pants leg, looking desperate. "Don’t stop!"
