CHAPTER 840: RETURN

Once they settled the problem with Stefany, the group continued their way back to the city.

As promised, Eid would return first to bring in vehicles just to hide Reolf and Rea. While it was true that people might not hit them because they were Clovis’ beasts, it would definitely cause a huge stir.

At the same time, Rea was sort of Clovis’ trump card. It was thanks to her that he managed to get Stefany and the mission objective.

It resulted in a much longer time, but at least they returned to the city without causing any trouble.

Without wasting any time, Jay and Luci entered the recovery pod. Since Luci’s injury was less than Jay’s, she got out first and took care of Jay’s recovery afterward.

The team immediately got busy. Hana had already gone to other countries for business development, so they got no more support from her.

Kanaria had to handle the matter of their city remotely, while the rest continued with their own things.

Still, there was one thing that needed to be done. One more time, they gathered at Dnanta’s restaurant.

With the food on the tables, Clovis stood up and looked Dnanta in the eye. "Sir, I’m sure that your daughter has told you about it.

"She will now officially join the Libation Fiesta."

"Yeah. She has told me about it." Dnanta nodded. "In the past, I joined a group called Hexagonal Prism. It was a small, elite group that traveled around the world like mercenaries.

"It was thanks to that experience that I could become the chef I am today. However, that group is long gone.

"Most of them have retired, and the group has been disbanded. They have their own lives, so no one will say anything if the member joins other organizations.

"Back then, I was only a Tier 5 human, while the others were already Tier 7. Some were even Tier 8.

"But that was because everyone’s age was at least 10 years older than me.

"My daughter’s situation will be different from mine. You are much younger than her. So, she will most likely retire before you. At that time, what will you do?"

Clovis smiled as if he had expected this kind of question. "I won’t stop her. Anyone who wants to leave the Libation Fiesta can leave. I’m not someone who will allow an untrustworthy person to join, so..."

"So, you think my daughter won’t leave? No threat?"

"I can assure you that I won’t force her to stay, but I can’t do anything if she chooses to remain."

"Well, your words are enough." Dnanta nodded. "Make sure she is alright, okay?"

Dnanta let out a long sigh. "In that case, I don’t have anything else to say. Just enjoy the food."

Dnanta then turned to Rin, who was standing next to him. "Go. You have your own adventurer. If you still want to return, you can always air up this restaurant."

"Yes, Dad. He has promised me not to say anything if I choose to spend my free time opening a restaurant over there." Rin grinned.

Dnanta chuckled. Opening a restaurant in her free time, it reminded him of his past when his team ate in his restaurant. That was also the reason he was able to meet the love of his life.

"Alright. Since it’s a celebration, I should cook more."

Clovis smiled and finally turned to everyone. He grabbed the mug while shouting, "I formally announce that Rin will now officially join the Libation Fiesta as our tenth member. Let’s welcome her!"

"Welcome! Cheers!" They raised their glasses. Unfortunately, Jay couldn’t join them, as he was still inside the recovery pod.

But Reolf and Rea protected him, so he would be fine.

The party was simple. Now that Rin had joined the Libation Fiesta, she kept getting tossed around as they wanted to know more about her.

Kanaria and Melody were the ones who got excited the most. Kanaria was the ranger of the team, so in case they split their group, Kanaria and Rin would belong to different groups.

On the other hand, Melody was the operator of the team, so the addition of Rin would complicate her plan even further.

Still, Clovis had the items he had bought from the mall. Since she had become a part of the Libation Fiesta, it would be fine to reveal that secret.

With this, Clovis had gotten the tenth member. There were only two spots left, of which one already had a candidate.

But before that, he might want to fill one last spot.

However, even Clovis didn’t know who would fill the last spot just yet.

People were excited to see who would get that spot. Of course, Rin didn’t know yet that the twelfth spot already belonged to Mara, even though they still needed to defeat Mara first if they wanted to recruit her.

Nevertheless, they wanted to see the complete form of the Libation Fiesta.

Looking at the festive atmosphere, Clovis couldn’t help but smile, staring at it with fondness.

He couldn’t help but remember when he first awakened. He struggled and eventually found Jay.

Back then, it was just the two of them. They saved Kanaria, and she ended up joining the group.

Then, they found Ragna, Melody, Erwin, Christina, Luci, Aileen, and Rin. It wasn’t a small group anymore.

While reminiscing, Dnanta couldn’t help but go to the counter while muttering, "An intruder."

"Mhmm?" Clovis couldn’t help but glance at Dnanta. "What are you talking about?"

Before Dnanta could reply, the door of the restaurant was opened. A middle-aged man entered the restaurant.

He had a thin frame, but everyone could feel danger coming from him. The moment they saw his figure, Stefany and Vina suddenly stood up and bowed to him.

"You are not my fated customer. Can you leave, Dark Supreme?"

"!!!" Clovis and the others widened their eyes. Back when he ate in this restaurant, Clovis wasn’t here, so he didn’t know this person was the Dark Supreme.

The Dark Supreme smiled while saying, "Sorry, Chef. However, I’m not a customer today. I won’t order any food. I’m here because I have heard about the mess my disciple created."
