He watched as his comrade, with his family, headed for the fence. They had three children, unheard of in the kingdom.

Now he finally understood why they were allowed to have an extra child...

Such scenes were commonplace, and it wasn’t long before about a hundred and fifty people gathered behind the fence.

Some Argonians, in blind fury, tried to kill these "traitors," but were stopped by soldiers.

"I promised not to harm these people. Trust me, their future days won’t be good. Now, the rest of you must agree to sign a contract with me, formally becoming my subjects."

After Lin Yi finished speaking, all Argonians received a message.

Many of them, never having dealt with the Ark before, were stunned to see the message appear.

[You have been invited to become a resident of the Space-Time Shelter. Please familiarize yourself with the Shelter’s rules.]

If you agree to these rules, say "I agree," and you will be taken to the Shelter.

But note, the Shelter’s owner is the king and ruler of the Space-Time Shelter.

The knights and their families were the first to respond, and everyone who agreed was transported to one side, away from the main crowd.

A few minutes later, only about twenty people remained from the original crowd.

They thought that once they agreed, they wouldn’t actually be sent to another place.

With a wave of his hand, Lin Yi teleported them to the other side of the fence, placing them with the traitors.

"Alright, it’s time to expel everyone who disagrees."

Lin Yi said, and then teleported all the Argonians to the vicinity of the steel wall at the border.

The area had been cleared in advance, but everyone clearly saw new zombies emerging from the mist.

The mist dissipated, and the expelled people began to run toward the Fragment World.

The expelled people started running back to the Shelter, discovering zombies and mutants everywhere in that Fragment World!

Over a hundred people were torn to pieces by ravenous monsters within seconds.

After devouring their prey, the zombies started running towards the steel wall, but were quickly exterminated by Shelter soldiers wielding assault rifles.

After the border was cleared, the Shelter disconnected from the Fragment World.

"Those bastards who helped bloodthirsty monsters eat your children have now become bloodthirsty monsters themselves, doomed to roam that Fragment World forever..."

Lin Yi explained the rules of the Shelter to the Argonians and answered some of their questions.

Afterward, he prepared a real feast for them.

In the Argonia Kingdom, the food humans received was barely enough to survive. This was the case no matter which Fragment World they happened to live on.

Argonian humans primarily subsisted on flatbread made with water and flour, with meat being a rare luxury, so the abundance of food and variety of dishes before them amazed them.

And the taste... Even the knights, who had relatively good rations, were shocked by the sumptuous meal.

To feed so many people, the cooks were working overtime.

Regina had to recruit women with cooking experience or at least those good at preparing simple meals for their families.

The knights with less severe injuries were allowed to join the feast, as the Shelter’s food could help them recover faster.

Members from various races in the Shelter came to help the Argonians integrate more quickly.

They were all equipped with translators, but the newcomers were still afraid of them, except for the Faru people, who were the most welcomed.

Just like humans on Earth, Argonians had fairies in their myths and legends.

Elves were considered kind, innocent beings, and having them stand by Lin Yi’s side greatly improved the Argonians’ perception of him.

As for the others... like the beastmen, the Argonians felt fear toward them.

Aside from food and aliens, Lin Yi also provided entertainment, including dance performances by some women.

Katsya and her band played a deeply moving song, which enchanted almost everyone who heard it.

The dirty, ragged peasants were stunned by the beauty and grace of the elven maidens.

They were also amazed by the performance of the voluptuous, red-skinned alien women.

Unlike the Child of the Sun, Argonian knights had undergone years of training. They knew discipline, formations, melee weapons, teamwork...

If the Child of the Sun were a group of barbarians, the knights would be a Roman Legion.

Before dinner, Lin Yi went to Tilian to pick up his soldiers and collect the spoils of war.
