"Miss Ning Jing, in the morgue on the negative first floor of White City Hospital, there’s likely an Abnormal Body. Xun and they encountered one last time but didn’t completely clear it. Watch out there."

"Xun, place detonators at points A and B of the north side of the central plaza and the Civil Affairs Building on the east side; EMP drone missiles should be placed at the commercial center and on that television tower..."

Over on Lin Xian’s side, he manufactured an infrared sentinel sensor and placed it on top of the clock tower, then said to Chen Sixuan,

"Teacher Chen, you guard here; if there’s trouble, come towards me."

Chen Sixuan nodded, walked to the sloped rooftop of the clock tower, slid down, and crouched at the corner of the tall building, overlooking the entire White City Rail Station.

"KIKI, Brother Huo, you go up, we’ll go down!"

"Alright!"

With that, KIKI and Lu Xingchen leaped out, while Lin Xian, led by Grace, jumped down from the clock tower with Shi Zhi, preparing to pass through the main plaza and head straight to the rail segment at the back.

As Lin Xian sprinted, he swiftly devoured an off-road vehicle. KIKI and Brother Huo landed at the back of the rail station within moments, and before touching down, their Mark Detection Device suddenly started beeping.

Her expression immediately changed as she and Lu Xingchen searched intently.

"Bad news, Sister Chen..."

"I can’t see it, but the sounds are coming from inside the passenger station!" Chen Sixuan’s voice reached them.

By this time, Lin Xian and Shi Zhi had already entered the passenger station hall, yet no dark marks appeared on them.

"Split up and search!" Lin Xian commanded directly.

As soon as Lin Xian finished speaking, Chen Sixuan, hidden on the clock tower, immediately noticed that many eerie noises emerged from the surrounding streets. She adjusted her viewpoint, and on the night-vision radar’s holographic screen, she could clearly see some indescribable creature slowly crawling towards the rail station in the nearby Dark Alley, happening precisely at the moment KIKI and Lu Xingchen were marked.

The term "scout" was explained to Lin Xian by Qian Suxun after he inquired about an Abnormal Body that emerged from a tunnel and vanished. According to the Silent City Squad’s intelligence, this was a type of creature akin to an Abnormal Body scout, capable of emitting dark marks but not actively attacking. Upon hearing this, Lin Xian immediately recalled the S-Class Cloud Black Thorn in Xilan City, surprised to find such existences among ordinary Abnormal Bodies.

Mochizuki Masashi referred to this type of Abnormal Body as "scouts" and deemed their level as not insignificant. They lurk in shadows, marking humans, thereby attracting surrounding Abnormal Bodies for a feeding frenzy.

Upon hearing Shi Zhi’s words, KIKI and Brother Huo swiftly flew towards the direction of the residential building.

Just as they flew past the wall, they indeed spotted a white eerie figure shrinking quickly towards the back of the residential building. Yet when they chased it, they lost sight of their target.
