An Ancient Demon spawn with four arms and wings stepped out from the Demon Realm’s Gate. A flash of silver light then radiated from its body as it teleported next to Argus.

Its deep, unflustered gaze scanned the area before resting on Argus and the Giant Beast. A hint of an indescribable grin formed on its large, jagged-toothed jaw.

"Sequence-class Hunting Group Number 4 in position. Argus, long time no see..."

"Marcus, you’re late..."

Argus, who rarely smiled, greeted the Ancient Demon spawn named Marcus with a hint of enjoyment.

"I’m not that late; I got held up..."

"Hm, no matter. It’s good to see you’re here. I didn’t expect you to be part of the Number 4 hunting group!"

Marcus replied calmly, "I haven’t been active for a while. I just came out to stretch my muscles!"

Argus added with a slight smirk, "Didn’t you just return from that... that outpost treasure land mission? I heard you had quite a success."

Recalling something amusing, Marcus smiled at Argus. "Indeed, it was a great time. I killed two top-ten experts of the Human Race Sequence... and even traded blows with Sequence Number 3."

"Oh?" Argus raised an eyebrow. "How strong is Sequence Number 3?"

"Just so-so." Marcus curled his lip and then turned his slightly eerie glance towards Argus. "The so-called powerful experts in this world are lacking. I think this hunting mission should be quite simple..."

Witnessing the mysterious smile on Marcus’s face, Argus had a gut feeling something wasn’t right. He couldn’t quite put his finger on it. After a moment, he discarded his doubt and turned to the pair of demon spawn beside him, saying, "Let’s go."

Marcus deliberately fell a step behind Argus. A strange gleam flitted across his eyes, and then he followed closely, sprinting towards the Red Stone Grand Canyon!

Marcus, the Ancient Demon spawn that Wen Yu encountered in the outpost treasure land, had not revealed any information about Wen Yu from beginning to end...
