CHAPTER 293: CHAPTER 293: YE XUAN DECIDES TO STUDY A NEW SKILL

As the family stopped talking about their advancements, Chu Miao went back to the pool that had been completely drained of any spiritual energy.

There was only a complicated pattern at the bottom. She realized that she had been right about the array at the bottom of the pool.

There was an ancient array there used to gather spiritual energy and hold it in the pool.

But it looks like she has found another one she is interested in studying." Grandpa Chu explained with pride written all over his face.

One could tell that he was very proud of his granddaughter’s achievements.

"Are there any books about array formations I cam read?" Ye Xuan suddenly asked.

He thought that if he read them, he might find a different perspective to array formations and be able to help his girlfriend.

The others already knew how whipped this guy was so they didn’t ask any more questions.

Chu Hao had taken a few books about various skills from the library in case they needed them at some point where Chu Miao could not access the soul ring.

Thus, he did have some books about array formations, so he gave them all to Ye Xuan.

Ye Xuan spent the next two days studying the books given to him by Chu Hao. He understood what array formations were and how they needed some special materials to make.

However, what intrigued him was the array disks that could be made and used to store different types of array formations.

He was especially interested in the attack and defensive array formations that could be stored in an array disks and used in case of an emergency.

He decided to study the art of making array disks.

"Are you not going to study any skill as well? Even Xiao Xuan is working hard to help your sister yet you are like a rotten potato that knows nothing." Father Chu asked while looking at his disappointing son.

"Dad, can you not belittle me so much? I am still thinking about what skill is suitable for my element. But I am a little confused and haven’t found one yet." Chu Hao complained to his father.

In fact, he had tried to study the array formations before but found that he had no talent at all in that area, thus, he had given up.

So, she decided to take it slow. The others didn’t disturb her and watched her get busy day and night.

It wasn’t until the eighth day that Ye Xuan felt sorry for her and decided to stop her from continuing. She had to rest and even if she was mad at him for disturbing her, she could punish him later.

Thus, on this day, Ye Xuan put away the book he had been reading about crafting array disks and went over to the edge of the pool to talk to his girlfriend.

"Hey, darling, can you rest for a while?" Ye Xuan said as he sat down next to his girlfriend.

However, it seemed that she didn’t even hear him or notice his presence. This was an indication of just how deeply concentrated she was.
