CHAPTER 342: CHAPTER 342: THE ZOMBIE HORDE ON THE ROAD

He thought that if that three-wheel vehicle could move, the trailer at the back could hold more supplies than the ones Old Zhu brought back.

"Can you detach the trailer from that three-wheel vehicle? We could attach it to my motorcycle instead. Hurry up and do that. I have to follow the people from Building H because I don’t know where the supplies are. We will be following them and picking up their scraps.

But as you can see from what I brought back, their scraps aren’t bad." Old Zhu then encouraged his neighbors.

When they heard his suggestion, they were over the moon. If they could bring back even a quarter of what he had brought back, they would be content.

Thus, they didn’t waste any more time and ran out to work on the vehicle. They gave the paper bags in their hands to their sons.

The two boys ran back home and gave the rice to their mothers. The women almost cried seeing such clean rice.

Over the past few months, the quality of the food they ate had deteriorated gradually until now getting a bowl of thin porridge was a luxury.

Their husbands go out with their sons every now and then to look for supplies, but they never brought back anything significant.

However, they had no choice but to stretch whatever they had so thin that a watery porridge was all they had for the last two days.

Now seeing two kilograms of white and clean rice, it felt like they were in heaven.

The women immediately got down to work to make a thick porridge for their families.

Even if it was just for a day, they would indulge themselves.

On the other side, the men were busy working on the trailer and soon, it was attached to the motorcycle.

Zhu Feng had the other two men climb into the trailer and he zoomed out of the community without waiting.

He didn’t know where the soldiers were going for the canned meat either.

He had only eavesdropped for a while and they didn’t even mention the direction. So, he could only park the motorcycle a short distance from the gate of the community and wait.

Luckily for him, the map in his head was similar to a surveillance. He soon saw the truck that had brought back supplies and another two cars drive out of the community.

As soon as they left in a certain direction, Zhu Feng didn’t wait and fired up his motorcycle to follow.

Unlike the first time when he was hiding, this time he followed closely and was glad that the soldiers didn’t give him a hard time.

On the way, he spotted some zombies around them but they were few in number so he didn’t bother.

However, after driving for about thirty minutes and leaving the main road leading to the city and taking another that led to a smaller town, Zhu Feng noticed that something was wrong.

There was a place ahead, about two kilometers away, just at the edge of his ability with a cluster of many dots. It was in the hundreds, so he was sure that there was a large horde of zombies there.

Without thinking, he honked the horn of his motorcycle loudly repeatedly to get the attention of those in front of him.

Fu Nie had seen Zhu Feng and was sure that he was a mature man aware of the consequences of making so much noise. So, he was sure that he had something important to say. Thus, he stopped the car that was in the second spot following the leading car driven by Yang Leo.

When Yang Leo saw the car behind him stop, he stopped too and everyone else stopped.

"Old Zhu, is something wrong?" Old Jiang asked his neighbor and now friend.

"Yes, you guys stay here, I will talk to the soldiers before we continue. But stay alert." Zhu Feng warned his companions before getting off the motorcycle and walking towards Fu Nie who had gotten out of his car.

Yang Leo and a few others had also alighted and we’re looking at the man who was quite thin, but also had a strong gait.

It was like a different person from the timid guy who was asking the leader of the gang planning on robbing Building H what they would do if the people there had weapons.

But unlike those thugs, he thought that soldiers would not hurt him, so he wasn’t scared.

"What is it Mr...I didn’t get your name before." Fu Nie asked first.

"My name is Zhu Feng, you can just call me Old Zhu. The people in the trailer are my neighbors Old Jiang and Old Su.

The reason I stopped you is because there is a large horde of zombies ahead." As Zhu Feng explained, he took the time to use his superpower and checked the situation only to find that the number of zombies had increased from about five hundred to seven hundred.

There were also sporadic ones from all sides coming towards them probably attracted by the sound of the honking.

"A zombie horde ahead. How do you know that?" Yang Leo asked.

Zhu Feng using his ability could tell that in this group of ten people, seven are superpower users, so he wasn’t very scared.

"My superpower. I have a spiritual superpower which is like a map in my head. As long as I concentrate, I can see the zombies and humans within a radius of two kilometers.

And at the moment, there is a horde of more than seven hundred zombies in front and some sporadic ones in other directions." Zhu Feng didn’t see the need to hide this news and told them truthfully about his superpower.

When the others heard him, they were surprised since it was their first time hearing about such a superpower, but it was quite useful.

Yang Leo was thinking that they must recruit this guy into their sect. But now wasn’t the time.
