CHAPTER 661: TONG HUAN: HE CHEATED ON ME!

Bai Meiyue felt her head hurt, and she wondered whether she should start looking at the almanac every day before leaving home. How come one thing kept happening after another? She sighed heavily. Not knowing what was going on outside, she supported her belly with her hand and then headed down the stairs. Because her body had gotten heavier, it was a bit difficult for Bai Meiyue to walk. But she still headed outside after hearing the sound of a quarrel.

"I don’t want to listen to a thing that you want to tell me. You are a liar." Tong Huan wiped her eyes furiously. She raised her foot and kicked Bai Zhan on the shin before turning around on her feet and running away.

Bai Meiyue watched everything happen in front of her and was speechless. No, what was happening? Since when did her brother get involved with Tong Huan? There were too many question marks hovering over her head, but Bai Meiyue still suppressed those questions and turned to look at her brother, who flashed her an apologetic smile and ran away. Realising that she wouldn’t be getting any answers from Bai Zhan, Bai Meiyue turned around on her feet and followed after Tong Huan.

Since her brother was not going to tell her the truth, she could only find it from the other party involved in the quarrel. However, she didn’t even need to go looking for Tong Huan, as the latter came to look for her. With her eyes red as a rabbit’s, she looked at Bai Meiyue with an aggrieved look.

"What’s the matter?" Realising that the woman was looking at her as if she had broken her heart, Bai Meiyue cleared her throat and questioned. What did her brother do to Tong Huan that the woman was crying in such a manner?

Tong Huan was so angry that she was trembling hard; in the end, Bai Meiyue had no other choice but to pull the woman to the couch. She pushed her on the couch and then asked her worriedly, "What’s the matter with you?"

"Yueyue, can you not drive those vixens away?" Tong Huan had hardly sat down when she jumped back on her feet and demanded. She looked at Bai Meiyue, who was sitting in front of her, and said to her, "I just went to look for your brother; we always have lunch together. But today ... that elder brother of yours was standing all alone with those... those scarlet women."

"I am so mad that I want to beat that jerk!"

She bit her lower lip and muttered angrily. "Tell me, why is he getting involved with those women who are not serious? Just what is he thinking??"

"My brother and Yiyi?" Bai Meiyue was confused.

Bai Meiyue was simply bemused because she knew her brother too well. Even though she had nothing against Xu Yiyi, Bai Meiyue knew that the woman was way too flashy for her eldest brother, who liked soft and good-natured women like Tong Huan. Having grown up in a village, he was a bit old-fashioned and wouldn’t open up to women like Xu Yiyi that easily. So what was Tong Huan talking about? What did she mean by that Bai Zhan was getting cosy with Xu Yiyi? That was close to impossible.

But when she finished speaking her thoughts out loud, Tong Huan’s eyes turned red, and she became even more aggrieved. She and Bai Zhan were testing the waters. After spending time with one another, the two of them realised that they naturally had some affection for one another. Thus, the two of them decided that they would give it a shot. Naturally, Tong Huan had nothing against it as she too liked Bai Zhan a lot.

But the two of them were busy with their own things. While Tong Huan was responsible for keeping track of the open kitchen and the supplies, Bai Zhan was responsible for creating and building the safe base and the boundary walls. The two of them hardly had any time to meet with one another. Because of this, the two of them had to wait for their days off.

Who would have thought that Tong Huan would suddenly get a holiday because Mother Bai took over the open kitchen and allowed her to go and do her own things?

Thus, Tong Huan came up with the idea of going and meeting with Bai Zhan and giving him a surprise. But when she arrived at the city, she found Bai Zhan surrounded by those women!

Those women were twisting and turning around while giggling at something that Bai Zhan had said, but that man didn’t even push them away; instead, he was also smiling at them.
