After their first deal was a success, of course, Bai Meiyue started dealing with Xu Yiyi. After all, Bai Meiyue liked women who were capable and smart. Xu Yiyi helped Bai Meiyue kill a lot of people, and Bai Meiyue also handed her a lot of crystal cores in return. That was how the two of them got along.

Of course, she also asked where Tong Huan was, as she could not see that woman. Usually, she would be preparing meals for the survivors in the open kitchen, but she didn’t see her, which made Bai Meiyue a bit curious.

Thus, the two of them were tangled in such a mess. She sighed and then turned to look at Xiao Wu. "Has Xu Yiyi arrived?"

Since the mess was far from being solved, it seemed like she had to go and deal with the source itself for her brother.

Xiao Wu nodded and pointed at the teahouse where he had asked Xu Yiyi to stay. He wanted to bring her into the mansion, but Mother Bai straightforwardly refused. She didn’t want to bring such a woman to her mansion. She was not alone. Jiang Haidai and many other women, including Nurse Lin, were not happy with letting Xu Yiyi stay in their mansion, especially when she started flirting with the gardener in just a few seconds and started asking about what was going on around the mansion.

She followed Xiao Wu to the teahouse and looked at the proud and collected Xu Yiyi, who was wearing old and washed-down clothes but they still looked quite clean. "It seems like you are upset about something?"
