CHAPTER 242: FEMME FATALE

The one in the Leopold carriage was a beautiful vampire woman with the Leopold family’s platinum blonde hair. She was shifted so her eyes were Vampire red and her canines were fangs.

Caius was still looking at her with surprise when the door was shut to afford them complete privacy.

"What’s with that look, My Lord," the Vampire woman asked and then adopted a sad expression that walked a fine line between jest and genuine disappointment just as she said,

"Did you already forget who I am?"

"No, Roxanne, I did not," Caius answered.

Roxanne was one of the few of the Leopold Vampire Coven Council whose names he cared to remember. Mostly because he had actually made the effort to ask for it.

"I look like this because I didn’t think it would be you," Caius said then.

"Oh," Roxanne said, looking intrigued, "Who did you think it would be?"

The way she angled her body then was so jerky that it caused her breasts to wobble and it was only now that Caius took note of what she had on.

Last time he had seen her, she had had on a robe that wasn’t all that flattering to her body which was saying a lot because it would take quite a bit of voluminousness to hide her assets. But then again, Caius hadn’t gotten that good a look because she had been seated and mostly blocked by the council desk.

Today, Roxanne was dressed differently. She had on form-fitting pants and her ass seemed to especially pop with her legs crossed and the angle with which she was sitting.

She had on high-heeled boots of great quality. Its quality was matched by the jacket she was wearing over her shirt but it was that shirt—with how it molded to her toned upper body and molded over her tits to let them wobble enticingly with almost every move she made—that caught the most attention.

All in all, it was clear she was dressed to impress.

Caius spent a few seconds observing her tits as they settled and then looked back up at her face. From the look Roxanne was giving him, it was so clear she had noticed his observation and welcomed it.

She stretched out a hand and grabbed the collar of Caius’s uniform jacket between two fingers, fingering it as she said,

"You haven’t answered the question, My Lord. Who were you expecting it to be?"

"Not you, that’s for sure," he said and then raised a brow, "Why are you here?"

Caius would have said he had expected it to be Kerwin Leopold, who was the leader of the coven, but realized that not even that would be truthful. He hadn’t had any expectation for any of the Leopolds to pay him a visit. Certainly not by blocking his path home from school.

His biggest clue to who was in the carriage before he actually entered, would have been the tug on his heart which was due to his connection to his Vampiric subjects but he was still just getting the hang of it and didn’t yet know exactly how it worked enough to make accurate guesses of identity.

"Straight to business?" Roxanne asked clicking her tongue as her hand went from the collar of Caius’s jacket to his chest,

"Very well. We wish to speak with you about something important. I was chosen to represent the coven’s interests. Well, to be honest, I volunteered. Enthusiastically, might I add."

Roxanne was pushing aside the side of Caius’s jacket to touch his chest through his shirt now. One less barrier.

"And you thought this would be the right way to have this talk?" Caius asked with a smile as he let his eyes fall to Roxanne’s hand and back to her face,

"You thought ambushing me was wise?"

"It certainly cut down on the chances of meeting anyone besides you, so I’d say, yes it was wise," Roxanne said with a shrug,

"I think it would be less wise to approach the Von Helsing Estate being what I am. At least with this, and meeting you here, I’d be taking my chances with a less ample squad.

Reduce the devastation of the possible carnage.

Theirs of course. They would never get to lay their hands on me."

"And what would warrant the possibility of taking such a risk at all?" Caius asked ignoring her bragging.

Roxanne looked into his eyes with a smile that showed off her glinting fangs,

"Allegra’s manuscript," she said, "We know it has been found."

"Okay," Caius said with a tone that made it clear he was waiting to hear more. Like he was thinking that couldn’t be all there was to this impromptu visit.

"Well, My Lord, you never did make it clear if we would benefit in its Evolution charge-cheating wonder," Roxanne said as she stroked her hand down Caius’s chest to his abdomen and then touched his thigh which she rubbed back and forth.

Caius let his eyes fall to that hand and then back up to Roxanne’s face as he smirked.

"I actually think I made it quite clear. If I neglected to mention you lot benefiting from it, is it not then obvious that the manuscript and its charge-cheating are for me and me alone?"

Roxanne didn’t miss a beat in her rubbing of his thigh. She moved her hand forward until she was very close to his groin.

"But, my lord, we are your subjects," She said in a sultry tone, "Our strength is your strength. You can’t possibly neglect us when this Manuscript is an answer to struggles that have plagued us for centuries. It’s our one chance to break free from the slug that is vampiric evolution. Surely, you won’t deny us such... grace..."

As she was speaking, Roxanne’s hand cupped Caius’s noticeable bulge where she noticed he wasn’t actually hard and that was just his size pre-arousal. She tried not to let that discovery distract her though and kept up what was clearly an attempt at seduction.

Caius laughed then.

"Is this why you were chosen?" He asked as his hand grabbed Roxanne’s wrist. He wasn’t strong enough to pull her off him—not without using his Noble Authority—but of course, he didn’t have to. If anything, he leaned into her actions and moved closer to her.

He raised a finger and stroked her jaw, indicating he wanted it tilted up which Roxanne obeyed immediately. There was no Noble Authority involved in making that happen. Neither was his authority over the coven by divine Edict involved. Caius’s mere presence was enough.

Caius leaned his face closer to hers then and let out a breath that washed over Roxanne’s nose with his delicious scent that had her inch forward instinctively to get more.

"I actually wasn’t chosen, My Lord. As I said earlier, I volunteered," Roxanne said in quite a level tone.

"Of course you did," Caius answered, "But did you really think your femme fatale would turn me putty in your hands?"

Roxanne shrugged.

"It’s worth a shot," she said and while finding herself liking the grip of Caius’s hand around her wrist, she continued to rub against his crotch slowly and enticingly, and almost got a groan out of Caius’s lips.

Almost.

Apparently, as much as Caius’s presence was affecting Roxanne and steeping her mind in heady feelings and thoughts, she had far too many centuries of living experience to be so quickly rendered useless.

"No. No, it’s not," Caius said,

"Allegra’s manuscript, for the moment, is mine and mine alone. It requires some intricacies that can’t allow it to be propagated. I’m telling you this so you can relay it all back to Kerwin and the rest of the council.

If you all desire speedy breakthroughs, it isn’t impossible. But it won’t be made possible through the Manuscript..."

Caius paused here and trailed his hand down from Roxanne’s jaw to grab a gentle but firm hold on one of her tits causing her to groan and jerk which made him smirk to have elicited a sound from her as he then continued,

"... So, as enticing as your actions have been, I’m afraid they won’t get you what you’re here for."
