Aura Revival: I Built Harem In Fantasy World
Chapter 53: Mythical Beast
CHAPTER 53: MYTHICAL BEAST
As one of the four ancient ferocious beasts, the power of the Uroboros at its peak was utterly terrifying.
But after a long period of being sealed, in this era of thin Mana, it could exert at most one thousandth of its strength.
After dozens of rounds of fighting, it was barely able to tie with Jennifer, a human Wizard who had just broken through to the Heaven rank.
After the initial probing, Jennifer realized the other party’s strength was on the same level as her own.
With a clear mind, she could perform her skills more calmly and composedly.
In comparison, the Uroboros had been determined to win at the beginning, but now that it knew it had met a tough opponent, its expression turned somewhat flustered.
Halfway up the mountain, two balls of light, one white and one blue, composed of Mana, moved at high speed and collided with each other. The two different sources of true energy clashed and exploded in the air. Wave after wave of impact spread out in all directions, shattering rocks and breaking trees.
"Should we go up and help?" Celes asked softly.
Lucas took the girls into the car but did not drive far. Instead, he found a secluded corner to stop and observe.
"No." Sarah gently patted Celes’s head. "Our strength is not sufficient. Going up would only cause trouble."
The battle on the mountainside continued. Jennifer’s sword energy grew increasingly fierce, every swing filled with murderous intent.
After the initial surprise, the Uroboros’s fighting style became more serious. Demonic energy filled the sky, compressing Jennifer’s casting space from all directions, but Jennifer fought back without any mercy.
For a time, the human and the demon formed a balance of power, and neither could gain the upper hand.
Lucas nervously observed the battle above and gradually grew optimistic.
This massive battle would soon attract the attention of Wizards within a radius of hundreds of miles.
As long as Jennifer could hold the opponent back steadily, even if she could not win, capable helpers would eventually arrive, such as the Elsa they had met before.
Unexpectedly, a dark shadow suddenly flashed from the side.
It emerged from behind Jennifer and struck her hard with lightning speed.
The bright white light suddenly dimmed. Jennifer, caught off guard by the sneak attack, was beaten so hard that she spat blood and flew out from halfway up the mountain.
"Quick! Catch her!" Lucas shouted anxiously.
Before he finished speaking, Blanche and Sarah had already moved simultaneously, flying forward and catching the rapidly falling Jennifer from midair. One supported her upper body, the other grabbed her legs, and they carried the unconscious Jennifer onto the SUV.
Blanche quickly returned to the driver’s seat and was about to drive away when she heard Sarah shout, "Wait!" She looked back and saw Sarah calmly wiping a trace of blood from the corner of Jennifer’s mouth, then offering it to Lucas.
Blanche already knew that Lucas’s method of controlling these sex slaves was through blood. She was shocked that Sarah could even offer her own biological mother to Lucas.
Lucas was equally surprised by Sarah’s decisiveness, but he thought more deeply.
The situation was urgent now, and Jennifer’s injuries had to be treated quickly. To do this, he first had to form a blood pact with Jennifer.
"Congratulations, host, for forming a blood pact with a Heaven rank Wizard. Reward: 1500 points."
As soon as the blood pact was formed, Lucas immediately healed Jennifer’s injuries.
Soon, the blood at the corner of Jennifer’s mouth completely disappeared, her pale face regained its tender rosiness, and then she slowly woke from her coma.
"How long was I unconscious?" Jennifer sat up and checked her body through breathing exercises. "I’m not injured?"
"You were unconscious for a few minutes, and your injuries were serious, Mom," Sarah replied. "Lucas healed you."
Jennifer looked at Lucas with an incredulous expression. "You have such a skill?"
Now that this larger, cold beauty was already in his grasp, Lucas felt much more relaxed. He smiled and said, "It’s just a trivial skill, not worth mentioning. We can talk about it later. The situation is more urgent now."
After saying that, everyone remembered that although Jennifer had recovered from her injuries extremely quickly, several minutes had passed since she was attacked. Why hadn’t the beast caught up?
Everyone looked up at the mountainside and saw that the light from the battle there had faded, but the fluctuations in Mana had become more complex.
"I’m going to find out what’s going on," Jennifer decided. "You all should leave now."
The Heaven rank beauty leaped up and flew back to the battlefield in front of the cave.
Naturally, Lucas did not obediently leave but took the girls to a hidden corner to observe.
Halfway up the mountain, three new extraordinary figures had appeared.
Standing next to the Uroboros was a girl in black clothes with black hair, seemingly less than 1.4 meters tall. Her cute, youthful little face was full of indignation, making her look like a primary school student whose lollipop had been snatched away.
Clearly, this was the culprit who had just ambushed Jennifer.
Standing opposite the Uroboros were two strikingly eye catching beautiful ladies. One wore green clothes with green hair, light golden dragon horns on her head, and a green dragon tail growing from her waist and hips. The other wore red clothes with red hair, wings on her back, and a phoenix tail at her waist, both a vivid red.
Lucas had been transmigrated for a long time and knew that the beast races in the eastern continent of this world were all such half human, half beast intelligent creatures, but he had never expected to see such top tier beast girls in the western continent.
And judging by their appearance, these two were not ordinary beast girls but a dragon and a phoenix, legendary ancient divine beasts.
"Two... seniors," Jennifer, standing on the mountainside, naturally recognized the origins of these two. "Could you be the two venerables, Azure Dragon and Vermilion Bird, from ancient legends?"
"Of course it’s them!" the Uroboros rushed to answer Jennifer’s words. "Besides these two traitors from the demon world, who else would be so despicable!"
"Beast, shut your mouth!" the blue haired lady Azure Dragon coldly rebuked. "The goddess Bestia spared your life back then, but not so you could spout such arrogance today!"
"Haha, what are you so proud of?" The girl in black standing next to the Uroboros rolled her eyes. "We are ferocious beasts, you are divine beasts. In human eyes, both of us are just livestock. Do you still think you’re so noble?"
Hearing the provocation from the girl in black, the red haired lady Vermilion Bird smiled gently. "Taotie, you’re still as stubborn as ever. You’re not as evil as the Uroboros, so why bother standing with him?"
The girl in black, Taotie, rolled her eyes again. "None of your business! I want to eat, and humans won’t let me, so I will become the enemy of humans! If you try to stop me, then I will become your enemy too!"
"Of course you can eat, but you can’t just eat whatever you want without restraint."
Vermilion Bird persuasively said, "As long as you live peacefully with humans and protect them, they will naturally worship you. Then, whatever you want to eat, they will offer it to you. Isn’t that wonderful?"
