CHAPTER 421: THE LAST PART
"Oh? I didn’t think such a beautiful lady would come to my birthday today." Aden spoke with a smile that, in his own mind, seemed charming.
When his words came out, the people around him also looked at the woman standing in front of him, and for a moment, they were stunned. It seemed none of them expected such a beautiful woman to appear.
Then, in their hearts, they sighed. Now that this woman had caught Aden’s attention, they no longer had a chance. Some even sighed inwardly for this woman.
Unfortunately, Aden didn’t have a good reputation, and most of the people here knew what kind of things this bastard liked to do to those who caught his attention.
Mornak also gave the woman a glance before pulling his gaze back. Maybe under normal circumstances, he would really be captivated by this woman.
However, at the moment, the only thing that caught your attention was the woman standing a little further away, next to another man.
Why would that woman stand beside another man? Was this supposed to be a sign of protest?
’If you think something like this can make me angry, you’re a fool,’ Mornak growled.
"Thank you, Mr. Aden. I also never thought I would be allowed to attend such a place. It’s all thanks to my husband." Andreas felt sick from the words coming out of his own mouth.
But unfortunately, he had no choice and had to endure it.
"Oh? A husband? I didn’t expect a lady as young as you to already have a husband. I’d like to see who this lucky man is." Aden’s eyes gleamed with a dark light. It was clear that his greed was only growing stronger.
From a little farther away, Daniel was watching everything with a smile. Thankfully, everything was going according to plan, and there were no problems.
Still, for some reason, he had a bad feeling. His instincts told him that something bad might happen at any moment and ruin all of his plans.
Just to be safe, he ordered his Fallen to keep watch and report immediately if they saw anything suspicious.
Then his gaze fell on the woman standing beside him. From the moment Mornak had arrived, his eyes had been fixed on this woman. During their conversation, Daniel had learned her name was Marianne.
She wasn’t from this city; in fact, she came from an empire. However, she didn’t tell Daniel anything about that empire, not even its name.
It was obvious that although she looked calm while talking, she was actually very cautious not to say too much. That only sparked Daniel’s curiosity even more.
Still, he didn’t pry further because it could have the opposite effect, and more importantly, he didn’t have time for such things.
Minutes passed slowly. The relationship between Andreas and Aden seemed to be improving, even looking more intimate and coordinated.
Andreas had made up several lies, saying her husband was actually a worthless man who spent most of his time on other women and drinking. Still, since she had no choice—and more importantly, because her family had forced her—she had been forced to marry him.
The more Aden listened, the more he smiled, because he had found a way to seduce this woman and enjoy her tonight.
He did everything he could to comfort her, speaking sweet and romantic words.
Soon it was time for the dance. Music filled the hall, the sound echoing louder, as the light focused on the center of the floor. Pairs stepped into the middle and began dancing.
"Shall we dance?" Marianne looked at Daniel with a smile.
"I don’t know how to dance." Daniel smiled and declined, but Marianne ignored his words, grabbed his hand, and pulled him to the center of the floor.
"It’s not that hard. Just follow my movements." Then she began to dance.
Daniel sighed and followed her steps exactly, repeating her movements. Because both of them were beautiful, they quickly became the center of attention, with countless eyes turning toward them.
As their dance went on, it became more and more coordinated, almost perfect, as if they had been partners for years and had danced together many times before.
Even Marianne herself was a little surprised. She hadn’t expected this boy to be so talented. Right when they started, she could tell Daniel really didn’t know how to dance.
But in just a few minutes, he had completely learned her movements and was already dancing almost professionally. A flicker of admiration appeared in her eyes.
She truly found herself drawn more and more to this mysterious man. Still, when she felt the hostile gaze fixed on them, she sighed.
Unfortunately, there was no chance for any relationship between them.
On the other side, Daniel was keeping track of the time the entire while. After all, they only had limited time here.
Through mental communication, he told Andreas to speed up the plan a little. Then his gaze fell on Mornak. That bastard was looking at him with killing intent, as if Daniel was sleeping with his woman.
’Could it be this woman is really his fiancée?’ Daniel thought to himself.
It didn’t take long for their dance to end. As it finished, everyone applauded and cheered for them.
They bowed slightly, then returned to their table and took a sip from their cups of tea.
"I want you to find all the information about that man for me." On the other side, Mornak snorted coldly at the sight and looked at his subordinate as he gave the order.
The subordinate nodded and sent the young master’s orders to the others through mental communication.
"My beautiful lady, what do you think of us having a dance as well?" Aden seized the opportunity and looked at Andreas.
Andreas blushed shyly and agreed, so the two of them went to the center and began dancing. Their dance wasn’t as dazzling as Daniel and Marianne’s, but it wasn’t bad either.
"I’m feeling a little tired. Is there a place here where I can rest?" Andreas whispered in Aden’s ear with a sweet and seductive voice.
Aden was thrilled when he heard those words. It seemed his plan had finally succeeded.
Without hesitation, he ended the dance, and they walked toward the doors of the hall. Before leaving, he announced to all the guests that something important had come up and he would return soon.
The guests didn’t care much. Most of them were here to see Mornak, not Aden.
However, when Daniel saw the two of them leaving, he smiled and finished the tea in his cup. Then he also headed toward the doors of the hall.
"Where are you going?" Marianne curiously followed him. She wasn’t a fool; she knew something seemed to be happening.
"It’s time to end a beautiful performance." Daniel said mockingly as he went after Andreas and Aden؟
