"It is pretty, just too flashy. Look at your sister and your niece, sure they wear dresses too but they look clean and neat, no one talks behind their backs, and they even secretly imitate them. Our courtyard has plenty wearing white shirts, green skirts, and long dresses, but none look as good as your sister and niece." Grandma Ye spoke frankly.

Feng Qingyun giggled and said, "I’ve seen so many people outside, and very few can compare to my sister."

"You’re just speaking the plain truth." Grandma Ye smacked her lips, unable to resist commenting on her outfit, "I understand you young folks all love beauty, unlike some old folks scolding you for wearing dresses, calling it indecent. Blouse dresses were popular a decade ago! But the love for beauty should progress gradually, don’t scare people into tightening control, making even ordinary dresses unattainable for you."

"Yunyun, what Aunt Ye said is indeed wise advice." Feng Qingxue said.
