CHAPTER 81: CHAPTER 81: LUNAR SUNSET

The sun was high over the village while Jax and the warriors gathered around the table, reviewing strategies and recalling the importance of always being ready for combat.

Suddenly, Jax was the only one who heard the piercing sound of the invasion alarm, making the ground beneath his feet vibrate. His eyes widened in surprise.

"Invasion!" he exclaimed, quickly opening the control panel in front of him to check the details of the threat.

On the screen, the view of the rear coast showed a terrifying scene: thousands of high-level sea monsters were emerging from the ocean, advancing rapidly toward his territory.

"All to battle!" he shouted, standing up and looking at the warriors."Prepare yourselves to fight."

The girls immediately stood up, aware that this was the combat order for an intense battle. Their hands clenched into fists as they advanced toward the coast, equipped and ready for any attack.

Upon reaching the shore, their eyes widened at the sight of a massive stain moving at high speed across the water. A collective roar rose from the advancing mass.

Suddenly, creatures of all kinds emerged from the sea: sea dragons, krakens, tritons, mermaids, and even giant crabs. Each displayed an impressive level of strength.

Jax began to list them, mentally organizing their hierarchy.

The tide seemed to move with a life of its own as the monsters advanced. Each creature was a real and visible threat, and Jax could feel the pressure of the terrain and the importance of coordinating the warriors to face them.

"Stay together!" he ordered, raising his voice over the roar of the waves."Remember blocking, dodging, and power control tactics. Do not underestimate the soldiers or the clan chiefs. Each has its own skill and strength level."

The warriors nodded, adjusting their weapons and abilities. They knew this would not be an easy battle; each monster represented a high-level challenge, and their survival depended on discipline and coordination within the group.

The warriors lined up, ready and tense, waiting for the order from Jax, their guild leader. Their weapons glimmered under the sun, and each breathed calmly, focused, evaluating the situation before them.

Jax observed the enemies emerging from the ocean, completely surprised. He had never faced aquatic beings before; he had only dealt with coastal creatures for fishing. But the number and variety of sea monsters advancing toward his territory was overwhelming.

He stood in front of his warriors, took a deep breath, and amplified his voice with mana to resonate over the entire ocean.

"Who dares enter my territory?!"

At that moment, a figure emerged from the water. A majestic mermaid rose atop a gigantic lobster with shiny black shells and imposing claws, known as [Titanic Lobster of the Abyss, Lvl 75]. The mermaid carried a golden trident that gleamed under the sun and looked like the true sovereign of the waters.

"[Queen of the Sea, Mermaid, Lvl 50]" she announced, her voice like a hypnotic and threatening song.

"Insignificant humans..." she said, looking at Jax and his warriors with disdain."Today we will conquer this island before advancing and annihilating the entire continent."

The water around her seemed to vibrate with her authority and power, and the tension on the shore increased instantly. The warriors took a deep breath, adjusting their stances, while Jax felt the weight of the battle about to begin.

Jax took a deep breath, staring at the mermaid."If you attack, you will be destroyed," he warned, his voice firm and resonating with mana, projecting over the waters.

The mermaid let out a mocking laugh that echoed like metallic singing over the waves."Destroyed? You are only humans! Barely fish in my kingdom," she replied confidently.

Jax squinted, letting out a growl of irritation."I have no time to waste with a bunch of fish," he said coldly, clenching his fists tightly.

The mermaid became furious, roaring with rage, causing the water around her to churn violently.

Jax wasted no time. He drew his [Lunar Bow], whose surface shone with a silver glow similar to moonlight, attracting the attention of all nearby sea beasts.

Quickly and precisely, he materialized a silver arrow that vibrated like a lightning bolt contained within. His breathing grew heavy as he aimed directly at the Queen of the Sea.

"I warned you, damn fish!" Jax shouted, anger in every syllable.

"[Lunar Sunset]" —he shouted forcefully as he channeled his mana—.

The silver arrow vanished for an instant, teleporting directly in front of the mermaid. Her eyes widened in horror as she saw the arrow’s tip just before her, but at the last second, a translucent barrier appeared, colliding with the arrow.

The resulting explosion was brutal. A shockwave wiped out hundreds of sea beasts around her, raising huge waves and scattering foam and debris everywhere.

Jax gasped for breath, feeling how [Lunar Sunset] consumed 95% of his MP and 50% of his physical energy. His body trembled from the extreme effort, but his gaze remained firm, focused on the mermaid and her aquatic army, ready for the next offensive.

The steam and foam from the impact began to settle, revealing the bodies of the sea beasts dismembered and scattered, floating in the ocean.

The mermaid’s eyes opened in terror, murmuring under her breath:"...it’s the same divine attack from a few days ago..."

All the aquatic creatures around her froze for a moment, then slowly began to retreat, confused and terrified.

Jax raised his voice forcefully, his mana amplifying the tone to resonate across the ocean:"This is not a place where you can come and go at your will!"

He turned to Anya and Karely, the two mages of his group:"You two, annihilate them!"

Immediately, both activated their abilities and began unleashing powerful elemental attacks against the creatures that still resisted, intensifying the chaos while Jax maintained his position, ready for any surprise.
